i've tried playing it again with mods, and stuff like the survivor mod, while janky and immersion breaking at times, has helped to freshen things up. are there any content mods I should download to spice things up more?

The poetry went from a unique and playful lore building to cringe compensation and viral baiting. Shame, he was great.
I do feel he hams up the personality a bit much at times.
