>He leaves "Always use best attack" on >He doesn't have fun doing backwards running thrust attacks with a katana on sewer goblins and assassins while his summoned Golden Saint distracts
A shame really
>>He leaves "Always use best attack" on
Yeah, I don't get it. It makes the combat look even more monotonous. For certain weapon types like spears I can understand, because they become absolutely useless without doing the forward attack, but swords and daggers have a range of moves with each serving a different purpose.
Fun is subjective but I'd say it's well designed. Weapon skill affecting accuracy makes sense, a master should have no issue using the weapon properly while a fresh prisoner who likely has never seen combat would have issues using any weapon. It all depends on your preference, do you like RPGs for their systems? You'll like Morrowind's combat, if you prefer action games naturally you'll dislike it because the combat is mostly abstracted.
>start game >go to sleep in an Inn >get attacked by assassin >swing sword at him >miss >miss >miss >miss >miss >hit >hit >miss >miss >miss >miss >die

Zoomers have standards then.

Opinion discarded.
It only takes one picture to slay the morroboomer
???
>Getting lost in Dagon Fel
American education everyone
This tbh. Dagon Fel is fricking tiny and takes maybe 15 to 20 minutes to search the whole thing, even if you have a low-speed character.
Zoomer brain overheating
Imagine looking at Morrowind's combat and thinking 'yep, this is fun and well designed'
Nobody thinks that.
They may say it but nobody believes it.

You will recognize the Moronwindfans concession of defeat when they are reduced to random greentext insults.
Sad really.
2002 here, loving it so far, telvanni's are based
