The first year of the 3DS was a god send at anime conventions
I would get 0 street passes in a month, and every time I check my 3DS every game would be full street passes
useless unless you live in japan or nyc
I never got someone on StreetPass
Same. Nintendo was very unpopular in my country. Doesn't help I live in a 10k town.
it was great when you got a random streetpass while on a long roadtrip
as a rural eurogay, the only other person I got was like a 40y guy :/
Zoomer here. I know that feel
the only streetpass I ever got was a LBW streetpass which is like the most fricking nothing streetpass content any 3DS game ever had
mfw i set up a relay to cycle street passes so i dont ever have to street pass
The hell is street pass
Zoomer here. DSI flipnote was my shit.
Zoomers grew up on the 3DS though?
i liked keeping senran kagura 2 as my last played game so everyone i passed would see it
didn't get many actual sk2 tags though
taking your 3DS to the club and getting a green light was a easy way to start a convo with somebody and get laid
Too bad they were all gays
i worked in a mall during the 3ds era and got a ton of street passes by just keeping my 3ds idle inside my locker. just stop living in a rural shit hole or step outside your house once in awhile and you're bound to get a couple
Mfw 4 3DS systems all with street pass on
Mfw would go in public with them in my backpack
Mfw people would be spammed with the same mii wearing different shirt colors
>make next console have the feature to also have probability
>remove streetpass
What the frick is wrong with Nintendo
Battery life. No Miiverse. No miis.
any of you buttholes still keep yours on you when you're around
it was a ten year old habit but i kicked it la few months ago
>tfw my godly Artillery Claws that carried me through 9.0 in Kid Icarus were obtained through streetpass
Thank you, streetpassbro
3ds is zoomercore
>visit Japan with muh 3DS
>maxed streetpasses literally every fricking time I brought it with me
>got 1 for a country that's not even on the in-game map
was pretty cool
>implying I didn’t grow up playing a 3ds
What do you think we did as kids? Went outside to play?
having to buy a second 3ds to trade with self
having to go to ebgames(now gamestop), bestbuy and a home depot since their wifi somehow were hotspots for nintendo
eventually had to turn my router into a hotspot at times
still have like the max amount of streetpasses for etrain odysee 4 but havent even put more then a couple hours into it and they are just waiting to be accepted....
wtf are you saying, I'm a zoomer and 3DS is peak zoomie
It became pretty common when they made it so that you only needed to pass a checkpoint instead of an actual person. I could fill up 10 streetpasses just by going to McDonalds
The summer of 2016 while Pokemon Go was at a fever pitch I was living by a college campus and I'd get StreetPasses constantly, it rocked. That entire concept needs to make a comeback, I think the recent Bandai Vital Bracelet thing has some variation on it but it's shockingly underdeveloped in general. It made every time you went out this delightful opportunity
ds and 3ds are peak zoomercore
also nintendo needs to implement something like steetpass to switch
nintendo are idiots
they make a new portable and don't even include some form of a streetpass....
they really are bugs
>Go on trip around Japan
>Fill up a like half the prefectures on the map
Felt good
Was fun to get passes at a convention and see tons of recently played games I never saw from normalgay locals.
You'll never go to a crowded event or convention and enjoy the company of other shitlords near you.
>Paid mii plaza games in 2022
I'm never going to be the stock market king
I remember getting an Eon Ticket from someone via Streetpass
Was pretty cool
