There's really not.
There's vague discussion about some story stuff here and there, but I've been in hundreds of BG3 threads at this point and rarely do I ever see people talking about how to get so and so item or what builds are good or looking for advice on what to do.
That said I think the game is fantastic and absolutely GOTY. It's just bizzare as frick how little of any given BG3 thread is actually about the gameplay itself. It's always full of disingenuous trolls arguing with easily baited idiots, and coomers, while two or three dudes try their hardest to actually talk about the game.

is ok, end of round music is pretty good, especially with a last second steal, but none of the weapons really feel "right" to me
the last second steal is easily the worst mechanic in the game. the timer should reset to 15 seconds or so if it gets swapped under that time. also the timer should stop at 0.1 seconds if someone is stealing currently

There's too much pressure on a single player because the teams are so small and there's not many opponents, larger team sizes would massively reduce the need for an individual to preform really well.
I was thinking an 8v8 mode would work, but I don't see it happening, I think the reason they went with teams of only 3 is because of the fact there are only three classes.
I find bank it to be a lot easier than cashout, even if I'm not great I can still kill a few dudes and sometimes get a crafty/sneaking bank off.
okay I see what you mean. yeah i dunno how well that would work considering how fast you can already die with only 3 people shooting at you, but if you have even more people on your own team for them to worry about, maybe it's not a big deal. the other problem would probably be grenade/trap/explosion spam from one team

This is the first F2P multiplayer shooter that i think i've ever actually gotten into. I suck ass at it so that doesn't help, but what does help is that it's not a battle royale. Never in my life have i been happier to see a gaming trend die than that. Yes i know Fortnite is still the McDonalds of vidya and will probably never go away, but that stretch a few years back where it felt like we got new BR games shilled every 3-6 months was hell. It was the first time in my life that a vidya trend had me thinking "i'm getting too old for this shit"

there's not much to talk about the unlocks either. it doesn't take long to unlock the main weapons/equipment for free, then that's it

I played it. It's really, really barebones and boring. And your starting weapons aren't fun to use.

These threads have been hilarious, what with all the people trying to say it's a clone of apex or it's a battle royale or that it's a battlefield clone, as they barely glance at it and try to find something to be mad about it.
It's somewhat of a shame, because here's a shooter trying to push the boundaries with tech that has had its potential unrealized for years and made it something fun that doesn't immediately fall into the same sloppy fads as everything else, but they're so addicted to ragebait and auto-complaining about anything with more than 50 players that they're passing this over needlessly.
