whenever i see classes in a singleplayer game i can just picture the situation 20 hours in where i see two really fun weapons or skills and feel the dread when i learn they cannot ever at all be used together.
In DD1 you could play Assassin like this (1h sword and bow), but they shuffled things around so I don't know if something similar will be possible in DD2.
The only two things that actually worry me about this game are Capcoms new moronic stance on mods and the fact that the game is flagged for "IN-GAME PURCHASES". Seeing how MHW turned out with the character remake tickets it is kinda worrying.

What I am worried about it not in-game purchases stuff as how capcom just recently went on an "All mods are cheats" crusade and how that will affect the dlc. Will there be a 2 dollar fee to change how your pawn looks? Do you need to pay 10 dollars for a 10-pack of ferrystones?
I agree, but it was also kinda lame how some classes felt not that different (namely assassin) from other ones. Oh boy, assassin has...nothing unique about it, just another dagger/sword wielder, but with better stats and some special moves. Without those special moves unique to assassin, it has nothing going for it. If ranger/strider/fighter/magick archer had those attacks as well, why would anybody pick assassin? I think thats the logic. Each class will feel wholly unique in DD2 instead of just "rogue BUT can use sword" or "rogue BUT can use bow" etc.
maybe once you open the hybrid classes the icons change to the second tier.
but anyway, even if its just the same game but with more content and updated graphics, I'm cool with it.

There's 3 advanced vocations, called Trickster, Magick Archer and Mystic Spearhand, that you unlock later in the game.
The concept of hybrid classes doesn't exist in DD2

There are a few enemies which have minigames to them where you mount them or something, or like a giant enemy thtas basically a level and not a normal enemy.

I'm pretty sure they're going for 9 vocations like the first game. The difference is that instead of an advanced yellow vocation you get thief.
