is this game a shitty spreadsheet like poe? i don't like that. i just want a normal skill tree for human beings with a few active abilities to pick between
No. It's not as casual as D3/D4, but it's also not as autistic as PoE. It's somewhere in between. A lot of the systems in the game encourage you to just try out whatever you want to see if you like it, because you can respec everything easily. The only thing that's a permanent choice is your "sub-class". Everything else can be easily changed.

Similar to any other ARPG. If you pirate, you won't get seasons, you won't get trade, you won't be able to participate in the SSF/Trade factions for bonuses, you won't have the global/trade chats, etc. and of course you won't be able to play with anyone else.
I bought this a week ago and tried to play it. The systems seemed pretty cool but the presentation and gameplay (and animations, etc.) were just atrocious. It was like some kind of mobile game and I'm not saying that to be mean, it was titanquest level. I'll give it a look in a while and see if it improves and get it again (I ended up refunding it).
Because I wanted to see how the game plays. I know there are some graphics changes and system changes coming (I've watched the dev diaries) but characters are carrying over so it's not changing that much. I just wanted to get familiar before it launched.
i bought the game yesterday, so far i have 5 hours into the game and i am bored as frick, cant even force myself to open the game again, the campaign has been painfully easy so far and just makes me want to go back to POE
>Tencent
>pozzed
>cash shop
>premium currency
>early access
>abysmal performance
early access literally ends in 2 weeks
>abysmal performance
4k60 fps on very high for me
no issues
Nah, it has an offline mode. It can never sink to Diablo/PoE lows.
>>t. discord troony
But enough about PoE.
bros i can't wait to mash the same 2 abilities for 50hrs
Looking forward to it, have the itch to play but gonna wait until release.
Looking forward to it,
I'm hoping this game will be able to fill some spot that's in between D4 and PoE, until PoE2 beta comes out.
I hope so too. I'm sick off PoE1 and its direction, and even sicker of its dick devouring fanbase.
I love PoE
I hate diablo
I enjoyed LE
What does that make me, based or cringe?
It makes you bazinga.
based if d1,d3, cringe if d2,d4
>d3 based
>d2 cringe
u fricken wot m8.
she is based if hates d1 & d3 and cringe if hates d2 & d4
>defending D4
gay
D4 is an abysmal game. Don't mix it in with D2.
D1 and 2 might as well be a different series compared to 3 and 4.

I'm probably gonna pirate because I'm fricking poor then see if I should purchase it
d4 is not in final form unlike d2 or d3
>Similar to any other ARPG
grim dawn is a single player ARPG
irrelevant. there are no seasons/leagues
Reflect on what you just said, fomo gay!
>moving goalposts
Also, while it's not an official one, there's https://www.grimdawnleague.com/#/
Im going to play the shit out of Paladin

Why did you play it a week ago when the 1.0 launch is happening with a ton of updates on the 21st?

>every single ARPG now lives in the shadow of poe and all discussion about every ARPG that isn't PoE ends up being about PoE
