Ashes of Ariandel was bad. But then it even the devs didn't know what to do with it and said as much in the plot of the DLC. I doubt that's the case for elden ring.
It's hard to make DLC for an unfinished mess that goes no where and means nothing like DS3.

at this point if the DLC isnt a full 50 hour story from level 1 to 90 then they fricked it up. they've had 2 years and they had all the game logic, assets, etc. to start with
