Prefering higher resolutions is the sign of extreme stupidity wherever it's done. Games were made for 640x480 and lower, because more can be done at that res and monitor refresh rates were higher at lower res.
Me and my friend spent hours trying to launch guys like him as far away as possible with sniper rifle. There was a guy at the very beginning of some construction site mission, who is standing with his back towards the player. We killed him hundreds of times probably and we could launch him across the entire map if shot was perfectly timed with leap forward.
nah, it makes sense using Sam Lake for Alan Wake 2, especially since Remedy are remaking Max Payne 1 & 2 and will be using James McCaffrey's likeness in those

I find it crazy how GTA san andreas got into a shitstorm for the hot coffee mod which required modding to enable some cartoony dry humping, yet this had a fully textured naked body which you can even make playable by a simple cheat command, even with tit physics and everything.

I played it at 1024x768 when it came out, the difference between console and PC was immense back then. It's also not a texture pack.
