>20 minutes into game

what the frick?
That's classic D&D baby
Save or die makes nu-DnD players fly into an uncontrollable virgin rage though
Of all the D&D mechanics to defend, save or die isn't one of then.
I don't care enough to play BG3, but why couldn't the penalty be a permanent INT drop? That way you only really lose the money to pay for a Restoration spell.
ehmm, because a Mind Flayer is devouring your body? It's not an Intellect Devourer but a Mind Flayer. Those guys eat whole bodies.
>Low-level DND
>Enemy zombie gets a crit and maxrolls damage, insta-kills the dwarf in melee by ripping his fricking head off via dealing 2x his max HP
Alternatively
>Save-or-suck fireball, pit filled to the brim with spikes, or just getting swarmed by Goblins with 15 AC who leap out from their +6 Stealth ambush becase nobody invested in Per
Kids these days don't even know you're supposed to have a nice day if your character fails their save vs poison...
Black folk just discovered gambling? Am I living in a simulation, it can't be that this many morons would buy into gamba combat game and jerk off to their menial choices in the game.
I fricking love reloading my save until the dice roll passes, it's so engaging and fun I literally have a shaking orgasm every time.
>Savescumming chuck
Disgusting, take an L and move on like a man
>quickloading
>or creating an entire new character just to play the same 20 minutes again
Talk about being disgusting.
>Teehee come play our gay toy box and pick any race you want and let Barbie be Barbie!
>Noooo don't quicksave!
That's not what he said. Be a man and go with the flow of how things play out as a result of your successes and failures. It's a lot more fun than quick saving before talking to every npc or interacting with every object you come across and continuously quickloading until you pass a skill check for them
Which makes sense for failing something like a dialogue option but do you want him to restart the entire game because he rolled poorly on an instant kill 20 hours in?
damaged brain
just go to the camp and revive them, if you can't save one character you deserved it
You do realize that you start with a Scroll of Revivify in your inventory, right anon?
if games dont have obvious save spots then save scumming is expected and core gameplay as far as I'm concerned.
A man doesnt rest on his laurels. Ywnbam troon.
Love the replies. Really shows the cult like mentality behind these kind of games.
>it's a cult mentality to accept the outcome of an RNG game instead of feeling entitled to winning... in an RNG game
No you're just a pussy who can't take any meaningful decision in his life because you're afraid of risks, which is why you're still living in your basement with your mom
Alternatively you could just not save scum.
>fail a roll to get a party member you want
>party member dies and is unavailable for the rest of the game
>just play the 200 hour game over again lmao.
Just deal with it. That's the entire appeal. Do you have a nice day everytime something in life doesn't go the way you want?
I fricking wish I could
What's stopping you?
Cowardice and morbid curiosity at how bad things will get
Self preservation check is too high, keep failing the roll on that
perhaps eternal hellfire, moron
Don’t be naive, it could be even worse
quantum physics
The love of God
That's the entire point of video games, to NOT be as real life.
What a moronic argument
waaaaa waaaa I want my protag to have plot armor
>Do you have a nice day everytime something in life doesn't go the way you want
that's literally the point? if i could quicksave and -load in real life of course i would lmao
You just got Prestiged Morty!
>Give me a quicksave and quickload hotkey
>Don't expect me to use it before I encounter anything and everything
Why yes, I will reload until I get the desired outcome. I would be a moron not to.
It feels good to get my desired outcome. It's even easier in this game because I don't have to worry about having forgotten to take a certain skill increase 20 hrs ago and not having enough speech to pass. Now I can just put all my points into combat skills and reroll the persuasion check if I lose. 🙂
I agree. Quicksaving and loading shouldn't be in the game. One continuous autosave like in souls games would have been kino.
Not OP and I get that, but how do you apply that in a situation where your character dies? Do you just stop playing the game?
All well and good in practice but sometimes party members die so easily, what if I lose too many and am severely hampered in the game?
you can revive them at the camp
Based take.
Babys get mad over everything wäää!!
>I play a RPG but I don't want to actually RP.
Things are not supposed to go exactly as planned every time.
>lose encounter due to bad rolls
So what now? Do I just uninstall the game?
Yes and demand a refund.
If you're playing ironman then you roll a new character. Also death isn't permanent, you get raise dead later and even early game as soon as you do the crypt you get a camp NPC that will res dead characters for a modest fee. You have to royally frick up to full party wipe.
That's logical. Dice rolls in vidya has been considered a bad thing until I guess Baldur's Gate 3 with you passionate homos
>Dice rolls in vidya has been considered a bad thing
The best CRPG of the decade (Disco Elysium) had dice rolls though?
Disco Elysium is a visual novel
Any game with a percentage chance (Xcom, total war autoresolve, diablo loot etc.) is essentially a dice roll, what the frick are you smoking?
a percetile roll is much laxer than a d20 roll, because you get fricked over 1/20 instead of 1/100.
Skills and such should never be critted(because that allows for stupid bullshit hapening, like an history buff char literaly forgetting the most basic shit, or jumping to the moon)
Modern systems works on dopamine rushes instead, so we can't have a working system like THAC0 or skills that make some ammount of sense in their scale of use. It's REALLY important for zoomer to feel the power of a natural 20 or 1, even when it's stupid and you shouldn't even have to roll your dice(because you aren't stressed and can take 10 most of the times)
So when you lose the combat do you uninstall or restart the campaign?
loading because you game overed is one thing. loading because you failed a persuasion check is another thing.
I’ll let you know if i ever lose one
So no argument then 🙂
Who’s arguing?
you 🙂
what a strange post
>reloading my save until the dice roll passes
Do you play every game on easy mode?
RNG isn't difficulty, it's tedium.
do you also reload your save state in pokemon when your random encounter is not a shiny?
I don't play fricking pokemon.
Sounds like you wouldn't be able to handle the RNG buddy
You're rdead if you fail. Just start over you easymode barrelmole
If you are just going to have to reload and reroll until you pass then its simply wasting your time.
>friend fails his roll and gets arrested
>starts crying to reload the save
>other friend tells him to shut the frick up and deal with the consequences of his actions
>he just breaks out of jail anyway and gets an inspiration point because he's the dickass thief
paying with friends is a blast
Why do zoomies cry and shit their pants every time they get a less than optimal outcome in anything? You're not supposed to pass every check.
Games are designed to reward them constantly and make them feel like they won. Their brains are not conditioned to failing in videogames.
Yeah, and weebs reload until the high school girl they've been mashing X on at the right time of day tells them they love them. And those motherfrickers ACTUALLY have shaking orgasms to that garbage.
Maindbroken
>minmaxing RP
>deliberately chooses to cheat
>omg this is not fun guys
They could have easily disabled quicksave in dice menus or made it so the outcome isn't changed by quickloading a new save
Clearly they intended for it to be a thing, 99% of the time dice rolls aren't for anything massively important or something you can't solve another way
You don't need to minmax and savescum normal difficulty moron
is there anyway to befriend these guys
i think they're cool
Go to the underdark immediately, I won't tell you why, but you'll thank me later.
ok thanks
Be a Great Old One warlock and there’s a strong chance you can befriend the mind flayers. I’m not 100% sure on this, but it’s a pretty safe bet.
You had multiple warnings before the roll, this is the DM punishing a tard.
my only options were to kiss him or resist
>if you have shadowheart she will literally warn you about going close to it
>you also think about how dangerous it is
l>iterally the entire tutorial is about how those mindflayers are dangerous
if you are playing class with low int, wis or cha and still approach it, it is on you really
Tards will ignore this post and continue saying how unfair the game is.
anon has low int wis and cha irl so of course he approached it
If I recall correctly, you had to do some real stupid shit in a dialogue and then fail some checks.
It's not "real stupid shit" you wannabe Black person all you do is try saving a hurt squid out who looked at you nice it's not so different from helping Black folk
and like Black folk, you shouldn't want to help a MIND FLAYER
If you knew anything about D&D lore you'd know a mindflayer is something you'd never want to save even if you're roleplaying the most benevolent Neutral Good character. It's a selfish evil monster that can only exist in harmony with thralls.
Squids are always evil even though every race is a mixed bag now. There's no way a good squid would ever join the player's party. Nope, meme party members are unheard of even tho you already saved the mindsquid braindog
But I wanted some squid pussy...
Did you not notice how mind flayer reproduce, or did you skip the whole intro cinematic?
Illithids don't have nor need sexual organs.
I mean, an illithid should still have the openings right? And they gotta poop ain't they?
They were frickable once, I'm sure there's some vestigial stuff going on down there.
You do realize non-sexual races do not have sexual needs or feel?
There's no reason for them to have an opening other than an butthole, and you aren't getting near that, anon.
And no, the illithid and the person who became them aren't the same, the Mind Flayer was never frickable.
>You do realize non-sexual races do not have sexual needs or feel?
Sounds like a personal problem that I do not suffer from. I don't need the squissy to feel it.
>illithid and the person who became them aren't the same
Nobody said that. Illithids are body snatchers though. Their body used to belong to someone else, and that person generally was able to fricked such as human being. They even keep the humanoid form.
Maybe they as horny as persons body they snatched?
Their mouth maybe but I don't think getting a blowjob from a mind flayer would be a pleasant experience. I'd sooner skullfrick a parrot
What??! Look at this it's a perfect hole for a dick.
PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP
EAT IT ALL PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP EAT MY CUMMY PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP PLAP
?t=7
Actuall sound they make when I skull frick them.
but anon, they got rid of alignment being tied to race, so you're being racist cause that might be a lawful good mindflayer, how dare you judge them on their race
They change the lore so that there are no evil races. Chuds btfo.
WotC are the worst stewards a franchise could possibly have.
It's funny because all my gaming groups are still playing Orcs, Drow etc as evil races and mostly baddies to kill. Even if WotC tries to change these things the themes are still so hard coded in our culture since LOTR.
The next generation won’t have those preconceptions and your culture will be forgotten realms
Nah man you're underestimating what kind of cultural impact countries like India and China will have on pop culture and they love the good vs evil shit.
Dark elves aren't evil in LotR. There are literally no evil elves whatsoever. It just means they never went to Aman when the Valar told them to go.
>all you do is try saving a hurt squid out who looked at you nice
It's a fricking evil cthulu looking abomination from another plane of existence that lives only to establish dominance over all life in every plane of existence and sucks out its victim's brains while they're still alive and eats them. Why in the everloving frick would you ever think it's a good idea to help it?
The brainworm made me do it
The game literally told you not to approach it, you walked into a trap and had to save or die. That's not bad game design. You can play the game hardcore/ironman if you want, there's very little that will cheapshot you.
The fricking druid laser traps that are hidden by the camera begs to differ.
To add insult to injury the only thing I got after reloading 3 times to get past that shit was a key to a chest I already lockpicked
They're easy to deal with though. No perception gays stay whining...
Are you moronic? You do know that you can sneak and dash in turnbased mode? You do know that? Right? Fricking imbeciles on Ganker.
>press shift+space to enter turn based mode
>profit
Did you people even play the tutorial and real the tutorial tips?
the game actually says that turn based mode can be used to avoid traps. imagine being actually moronic
You did something stupid and you were given an unfortunate but appropriate outcome.
I think your skin is too brown to play this game.
pRoTiP: u can quicksave (f5 for uninitiated) during speech so make sure to do that before doing any kind of roll and you'll breeze thru this shit!
I'd rather just download a mod that passes every roll check.
>buys bear fricking simulator 2023
>has the audacity to complain
Brought it upon yourself. We warned you. But did you listen?
>That'll be 60 dollars
>plus tip
Save or die is the result of you being a colossal moron and ignoring the warnings you got
It's also save or die for 1 party member, not TPK. And like
said the game gives you cheap and conevnient ways to revive dead characters. The game is built with Ironmans in mind.
>cast sleep on it from a distance
>walk up and immediately start dialogue with it awake
Wow thank you Larian, very cool. You could atleast let me rape it's unconscious body or something.
Instead of that you could have just shot it with the 50 bows the game has thrown at you, it was at fricking 3 HP and even a noodle armed wizard with a shortbow could kill it.
Why is their approach not also a legitimate option?
In tabletop it would be fine but also overkill, in a video game who the frick would code that random dumbfrick option 0.01% of the playerbase would do? You usually don't even have a sleep spell at that point.
you see this is the problem, its just canned options the devs have made. The is no true choice, only the illusion of choice.
Perhaps the game that allegedly prides itself on having tons of niche interactions.
sleep is a lvl 1 spell my guy
>their
go back
>Don't be moronic
>Shoot it with an arrow
>Continue on way without brains slurped out
KWAB!
FIX THE SHORTSTACKS LARIAN
filipina
when can i choose subclass?
Why did the series go from semi-turn based to full out turned based?
It feels so unengaging to play compared to NWN or the other BG games
Rtwp is too complicated for moronic gamers these days.
It honestly feels a lot less complicated for me.
RTWP it's just a shittier lamer rts game
>RTwP
>complicated
For zoomers, yes.
RTwP animals deserve to be burned alive
I know you also like fallout 3 and the star wars prequels
>aaahhh the game is too fast what going on I'm lost aaaaaa pause PAUSE PAAAUUUSSE
kek
There’s an option in the menu to toggle between turn based and rtwp
Wait, you can do combat in RTWP?
If you’re playing with a controller, open the menu wheel and it’s at the bottom left
No fricking way, Where in the settings? i don't see anything for RTWP
Here comes the airplane, neeeAaarrr
https://www.shacknews.com/article/120764/how-to-exit-turn-based-mode-baldurs-gate-3?amphtml=1
>It should be noted, though, that you cannot simply exit turn-based mode while in combat.
Frick you dumb fricking larian liar Black person. That's not talking about RTwP.
no, there isn't
what a weird lie
If you like RTwP, you deserve to die
Better question is why was it ever RTwP in the first place? Because actual D&D, of which this a licensed game, uses turns in combat. I've always thought it was a dumbass move from WotC to not treat the video games as platforms to teach people the actual combat rules. They have no idea what they're doing with vidya.
>Better question is why was it ever RTwP in the first place?
Because the Black Isle devs didn't want every minor battle with goblins to take 10+ minutes like it does in BG3.
>playing weak as frick Halfling
>need to pass STR check to save party member
>can't get stronger cleric chick with magic skill check bonus spell to do it for me
>she won't even cast her spell on me
>new party member disappears into the abyss
The frick, game?
It's okay I got rid of Gale (The character you failed to save) the second I found out he needs to eat my fricking magic items to live
Not a problem. Nearly every magic item in chapter one is useless.
reload save and play as str character in ur party
Doesn't work. The game switches to the main character no matter who approaches him. I did reload and eventually pulled him out (and sent him to camp,) but it's still a stupid scenario to get a party member.
TORtanic
>resist kiss
Why?
Can you change your tavs look ingame? My guy looked a lot better in the creation menu than how he looks ingame. Hairstyles/haircolor/scars etc..
why "double attack" on monk not working? i have equipped some 1.5hand staff, but it is kinda in one hand, so i should have 2 attacks
What's the exact name of the action/feat you're talking about? And what's the exact weapon? There's like a dozen things you could be talking about in each case. Post a screenshot.
It only works with unarmed or Monk weapons. What's a Monk weapon? I have no fricking clue but I haven't found one yet.
Quarterstaffs are monk weapons, you start with one as a monk. Look at a wiki for more info or examine every weapon description.
>BUT ALAS
>You are Finally Happy
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW I love this game
Wait where is he?
I'm at the helm rn and never met him
In the middle of the crashed ship after you fight the brains, you need a shitroll for it to happen GL
I'm playing a dick halfling who spends all his time in disguises insulting everybody else. Everybody is getting the fee-fees hurt.
Skill issue
>he walked up and tried to speak with it
>instead of immediately crushing it's head with a warhammer while it was unable to resist
SUFFER NOT EVIL TO WALK FHE EARTH
>I HECKIN LOVE THOSE OLDSCHOOL CRPGS BRO!!! MY FAVORITE STREAMER LOVES THEM TOOO!!!
>What the FRICK?!!?! That roll was ASS! Better reload :^)
CRPG players are cucks
No true CRPG player save scums.
What other CRPGs let you roll for the dialogue options? Most are either you have enough skill for the dialogue option or you don't.
Disco Elysium is nothing but dialog dice rolling
That's a visual novel. Any others? Do the other Baldur's Gate games have it? Icewind Dale? Fallout? Divinity? Pls show me.
Neverwinter Nights you zoomer / newbie I have my own gripes about the game but it's got nothing to do with dice rolls.
What a baldfaced lie. The D20 system is ass, the die swings way too hard.
Good thing BG3 has the karmic dice on by default
Yeah, because the D20 system is ass.
What the frick does this even mean?
It's dice, you roll and pass a check or you don't. HURR SWINGS like do you believe in magic or there's something else involved? Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't.
would you rather play a game where you can only succeed?
I think for an RNG based system having a full Game Over screen constantly showing up just because you failed a roll might get irritating. A fail state that simply sets you back or states briefly that you failed would let you continue again without reloading.
Though I haven't played the game so no idea how intrusive the interface for the menu and such is.
Having an RNG coinflip that results in a game over where the only option is to reload and try until you succeed is boring. Dialogue checks should have consequences for failure, but there's more interesting ways to do it.
It's not boring. You're boring.
There's not a binary between "always succeed" and "game over failure". Look at Mount and Blade, where your character never dies -there's no game over if you're taken down in a fight. You'll lose goods, your party can be wiped, you lose gear and money and the clothes on your back, but you'll be alive. Those are lasting consequences for failure, not just "game over try again".
>DnD but the DM is a computer and you're the only player
No thanks
DnD is gay and for homosexuals
part of the fun of these games is just rolling with whatever happens
had a wonderful time in divnity 1 over 120 hours just going with the flow
I don't think that works if the game has a "game over".
obviously if you die or lose you don't need to restart your game - unless there's some sorta confirmed soft lock that has 0 chance of escape just rolling with stuff is the best - when i played divinity coop with a friend one of our party members we invested in heavily ended up betraying us about half way into the game, so like 60 hours worth and we just straight up lost someone due to the allying with an enemy - it was really cool, never had a game pull the rug out from under me like that
some anons might say, frick that, i'm stopping there but we continued on and had all sorts of shit happen that we didn't expect
that's the magic of these games
>play fallout 1
>get out of cave full of ants, go towards a nearby settlement
>run into a group of mutants on the way that kill my character
>finish the game
Huh, interesting game but a bit short if I'm honest.
>meet a boy at the beach being lured by sirens
>only option is to be attacked
where's my DnD?
Just throwing this out, but if all of your party members are technically MCs in their own right, maybe the game narrative shouldn't be strictly tied to one character. Let the leader just be another character that you may or may not lose along the way, and only Game Over in the case of a total party wipe.
It should give you new characters to play if your party wipes.
If the villain succeeds, then you play as new characters in the awful world the villain has created trying to fix it.
Is the level cap really going to be 12? How in the frick is that going to work when a single playthrough can easily be 100+ hours supposedly?
It's almost like the xp needed to level up will become a big number that takes a lot of time compared to early on
What should my stats look like on creation for an archer rogue?
16 or 17 dex? if i understand it right 17 is useless compared to 16 but will allow me to get to 18 at level 4 right?
Then some constitution and charisma and dump str and int?
I just play D&D games on computer and every game seems to follow a different system/edition.
Please and thank you.
So yeah starting stats sheet please? ^_^
>computer and every game seems to follow a different system/edition.
>Please and thank you.
17 is good because you can take a perk at level 4 that'll give you an interesting passive and a dex point to get to 18. Or if you do 16 you can just get 2 points at 4 and no perk.
nta but I want to do to this, don't agonize over singular +1s, it won't make that big of a difference. Yes, higher number is better, but remember you're still going to roll a 1-20, which can vastly outweigh the actual stats you have. If you have +4 to something, and the goal of a roll is 15, 11 of that result is coming from the roll. 11 is 73% of 15, so 73% of the result is your dice and not your stats in that case.
Basically, it's ok to not minmax, have fun with the character.
Didn't buy the game because I got bored of turn based Rpg's a long time ago, and also this one is gay. Checking out a couple of streamers outof curiosity. They are "latest thing" kind of streamers, and they are getting their shit pushed in every encounter because they have no idea about turn based or DnD systems. I would guess this is happening to a lot of people who fell for the hype right now.
I don't see how. Normal difficulty is even easier than whatever difficulty they had EA set at.
maybe I'm spoiled by jrpgs but the UI is kinda shit in this.
though tbh its uglier than older western games I played too. the icons are much shittier than something I'd see in Warcraft or Age of Empires.
I feel like DoS2 had such a better inventory screen
They went for like a runic, minimalist look but I find it just boring
The UI is dogshit but nobody will talk about it meanwhile western journalists claimed Elden Ring somehow has the worst UI ever invented even though it’s totally fricking fine.
Anyone confirm you can actually frick your customized dream lover?
i just want to play the game
it crashes after a few minutes
cod on max crashes exactly 0 times
frick this i just want to be part of it 🙁
Is there gender specific dialogue in this game?
I'm tempted to pick non-binary Drow just to see what they say.
Karmic Dice on or off?
I'm thinking off. Sounds moronic to have some hidden magic artificial system affecting your rolls
Karma dice? As in if you go evil your rolls are shittier?
Prevents streaks of results even if they were random, so probably a small cumultative bonus/malus after every failure/success
Something like picrel
14 cha since its always useful on an MC on an rpg for face
maybe somebody with more experience can tell you better
No, it's luck removal. Get a streak of good rolls, karmic kicks in and forces a couple of bad ones. Or vice versa.
I'd say turn it off. You got skill bonuses, advantages, and inspirations to help you get through skill checks. You don't need some behind the scenes crap deciding you've been succeeding for too long and deserve a string of 1's.
>Karmic Dice
why is this a thing and why is it on by default? seems like the dumbest thing to include in a game about dice rolls.
>game features lots of dicerolls
>the actual obvious probability of dicerolls can be frustrating and tedious in a game that takes literal days to complete
>here's an option to make all dicerolls, yours and the enemy's, more likely to be above average
Zoomers in the beta whined until they put it in. Not sure why it's on by default.
>shitty clipping
So eh is this a proposed GOTY23?
Your mistake is you see the roll as your chance to live. Your chance to live was earlier, but you got yourself into a shit situation. The roll is a lifeline to pull you out of your mistake.
It's like seeing a raging river and making the dunbass decision to try to cross it, and once you fall in like a tard you get a roll to grab a rope and get out before you drown. The skill challenge there isn't the rope, it's deciding not to cross.
I thought RPGs were meant to be a test of the character's stats and skills not the player's
Regardless, if you walk into the lava pit, you die. This game just let's you roll dice to jump back to save yourself.
reminder that although vulkan gives you better average fps, the shader stutters give you worse 1% fps. so you're better off using dx11 unless you're on linux/steamdeck.
>walk through a forest
>discover strange blue lady
>she demands a kiss
>no option to say no
>game over
what the frick?
Tactician Mode is way too easy.
What the frick did they mean by this?
What’s the fear progression in this game like? I played the EA and I was still wearing the same shitty starter robes, kind of made it feel lacklustre when you fight a tough enemy but you don’t even get any good equipment.
Gear progression*
Considering Armor Class in D&D is the number your enemies have to roll to hit you, most equipment is going to sit between 11 and 14 AC for the entire game, with heavy and rare armor getting up to 17 AC. What you're going to find more is enchanted equipment that gives situational buffs.
>try to win a battle of wills against a fricking Mind Flayer
>lose
>WTF LARIAN?????
What exactly did you think was going to happen?
>roll a 1
Skill issue.
A Soulsbaby like you should at least know not to frick up your rolls.
At least it's not as bad as getting yourself killed in a battle of wills against a ceiling fan.
i kicked a trash can and died
Did you learn?
Actually it's for co-op. After your death there is no game over scream just laughs from your friends as they continue to play.
is there a way to make multiple custom characters to use in the party instead of the prebuilt ones?
or can i only have a non trickster cleric or insanely gimped wizard by using my single custom character on it
You can respec your party members with the lichbro in the ruins, and also hire mercenaries later on.
>level 5
>+4 in my main stat with +3 proficiency
>mouse over a goblin with eldritch blast
>50% chance to hit
haha ok, this is fake right? A nerf to the player to make the game seem "harder" right?
most of the enemies have between 13-16 ac
in real life with my stats I'd roll an average of 17 to hit on my attacks. In fact I'd have at least a 60% chance on average to hit most enemies. So...what exactly is larians "math"
Range, elevation, and lighting also modify your rolls.
>range
spells don't work like that, not even in bg3 you are either in range or not
>light
I have the light cantrip constantly on
>elevation
elevation only grants advantage or disadvantage and it will say so on the rolls, curiously though my to hit on average is simply lower than it should be
I agree that the chance breakdown should be included, but there are many ways to boost your accuracy.
This
and also small things are harder to hit, too.
I'm 99% sure it is fake and has to do with your difficulty. I noticed this too because if you swap to easy mode your accuracy is closer to tabletop
D&D is lame.

Yes this is called role playing. If you "lose" but it was an interesting way to do so, have you really lost?
I bet you never let your rimworld people die either. Stories can't just be up and to the right all the time, it's boring.
I can make your life more appealing if you want to share some personal info with me.
the appeal is to use your brains
try it sometimes
>be paladin
>enter into the middle of every disagreement I see going "I SHALL PASS JUDGEMENT"
This is pretty fun
