I post there and I said I'm a brainlet. RPGs are piss easy, 99% of the time all you need to do is >pump up defense, strength and hit points if one party >2/3 fighters, cleric, wizard and thief if multi party
The only hard part is figuring out the balance between how much points you put in DEX, STR and CON for 99% of your roster.
Next is your classes. Some races are locked out of some classes, like my Durendil test example who can't be a pirate
Next, we allocate our bonuses to >hitpoints >attributes >skill points >destiny
All that stuff is in the left for character sheet
Make a band of entirely meatheads that hit things really hard.
Crush'Gore the Oprhan eater.
Radiant Joe
Kev'Lar The Defender
Sharp-Jaw Ironhand
Dagg
I'm running out of names.
global warming made the ice in the poles melt, which unfreezed a neanderthal from the ice age, this neanderthal worked on a failed project for wizardry 8, but due to the incompetence of everyone else in the team he decided to make his own game, which took 20 years to develop due to his slower neanderthal brain

50 into STR

Tried my best for allocating to strength but it didn't work out. Let's see how this pans out. Decided eh, thread's gonna die soon, so I fill the last two characters up
Both. It was in development for the last 20 years and released a few years ago on steam. The dev is one of the world's last living neanderthals.
I've been enjoying it
Every few months I play a little bit more of this on my Deck but my progress has slowed since I lost the training wheels of the first zone guide. Very soulful game though, love the diversity of classes, races, and magic. Don't have all the names exact but party consists of: >Lizardman Barbarian >Human Fighter >Naga Assassin >Drake Metalsmith >Aeorb Sage >Lion man Bard >Wolfin Cleric >Fairy Wizard (ended up the only female rep on the squad)
For some reason my Wolfin regens mana almost instantly while my Fairy takes forever to.
Weird thing is Fairy is supposed to the highest followed by Wolfin. Yet my Wolfin destroys my Fairy's mana regen even though they have similar levels for the related ability score (can't recall the stat's name).
I can psionically detect sapes in my presence.
wtf
If homosexual sapies were dead, we would have games like this one every day.
Guy's based, gotta go play it now. Looks fun, and 8 character parties are rare. Maybe I would give meme classes a shot
I'll never forget
>using RPG Codex
next you'll tell me you have 280 IQ or something because you played ultima or caves of qud once

Before thread dies, let's make my party. Names, classes, and builds, open to Ganker. I wanna see what hell you'll put me through
I'll go over your options. First is race. Here's selection.
There's gender
Roll bonus of 6D8 or 8D6

It's an indie game

is this a really old game or is this a new indie game that is supposed to look like a really old game?
Is it any fun?

I will never play this special kind of padded cancer ever again
I still have yet to beat the game, I should get back to it one of these days.

Mp regen is tied to races, the manual might mention it

>mixed reviews on steam
Nice try, dev-kun
Grimoire has been in development longer than steam or valve has even existed, zoomzoom.
>people say it's kinda shit
>"but it's old, doesn't count!"
all vampires team run?
>Grimoire 2 under development
Thank you Cleve but we are not worthy
>pirate it the other day
>cant find option to create my party
>only quick start
>everything runs in 5 frames
am i moronic
>sape moron
there was some giant fricking icon to start the game properly isnt it?
It's in library. 5 FPS is weird, unless you mean jittery animations
I kneel, I will buy Grimoire on launch, like with Knights of Chalice II
lmao, this game
where is golden baby these days
Working on Grimoire II: Stones of Arnhem and another game only shared on the super sekret forum
