I’d rather just play story mode while robbing every convenience and liquor store as Trevor in my souped up Intruder, and headshotting any dirty cops who try to stop me. This way I don’t have to waste any money on a thoroughly half baked online experience that everybody complains about.
I haven't heard a single GTAO story that wasn't just about people complaining about hackers or having to grind heists, I don't even know what the frick you do in that game.

honestly this. You start out needing money to buy stuff so you buy properties and businesses to make money. Okay great, you played for over 50 hours and now you have lots of money. What now? Grind for 3 hours to get a marginally better car? Get an armored vehicle to make missions marginally easier? Buy another property to unlock missions that are still essentially go and shoot? Only thing that makes sense is to do what

You thought that was israeli? Anytime there is a money exploit that makes it easier to grind (say getting gold solo in cayo perico) they patch it almost immediately. But actual stuff like ruins the gameplay experience like constant hackers? Nah that's okay. Anything that threatens their sharkcards gets fixed, almost nothing else.
The only reason they began to fix the modding issue is because they could add and remove money to other peoples account.

Modders can just give you money, if anyone affects the economy it's them, and they can't do shit and will never be able to do shit because the game is p2p, so unless they remake the online, they'll have to continue seeing them spawn cars and money with impunity

All the anti consumer monetization in GTA online will be in the next GTA title day one. All the unique talent from Rockstar has already left the company. It's existence is to increase the stock value of Take Two

I stopped playing just before the newest update, but it was in a good place when I last played. It's grindy, but there's something for everyone.
