Dragon's Fury has insane damage output, you just won't see Pyro players using it because it requires at least mid-tier aim
Last I looked it needed 100% hitrate to exceed the DPS of stock
I like the Dragon's Fury but man missing with it feels frickin BAD. I'm also not sure what the hell they were thinking with that airblast delay, it's incredibly crippling. Still hoping for a strange variant some day.

It is completely and utterly baffling how minimal-effort the "update" was. It feels like they put more thought into how they could get away with below the bare minimum then actually putting work into the game. Game Freak is taking fricking notes right now.
I am still annoyed how people were somehow "surprised" by this, it was pretty obvious what they were going to do.
The point is not that it was going to be a big update, they didn't need to add the words "holiday sized" for it to have been obvious if you just use a little critical thinking. Most of the summer updates over the last few years have just been cosmetics, that's all. Now they clarified they wanted to add maps this update too. The post never specified anything other than what they delivered, if you expected something else you clearly didn't read or you just fell for some twitter gays summary of the patch notes. It said cosmetics, unusuals, warpaints and maps. And that is exactly what we got.
I mean sure, I wish it was an update with new weapons too, but consider that an update can only have so many things:

>weapon balance changes

They said they're going to include community maps and fixes. So many great fixes that you can already use and break nothing have been uploaded. Valve used none. They grabbed a few maps seemingly at random, playtested VSH briefly, and pushed the update.
And they did include community maps and fixes, that doesn't mean they're going to include all community fixes at once in this update. If there's an obvious fix they haven't added it's probably because of some technical issue with doing to, probably breaks legacy code or is hard to implement.
Them not playtesting maps is par for the course, that's how it has been for years and why maps like Wutville were able to get in with glaring exploits

They fricking didn't! Not a single of those dozens of workshop fixes made it in. I've personally been using some of them as mods for years, but some others can't be modded in client-side.
It's not just workshop fixes, its mainly specific bug fixes you'll see referred to in the patch notes. these usually aren't QoL changes, they are actual bug fixes with how the game functions. Some mapping related community fixes were added and in all likelihood smaller ones were too just not mentioned

Halloween WILL have a VSH Horsemann map, I'd bet money on it.
The only remotely likely one is freak fortress, but things like CBS and HHH are part of regular vsh not ff. Anything more niche than that has no chance of making it in.
I don't even want CBS to be added officially if they aren't legally allowed to use the song, it is integral to the fight.

Valve screwed over the Artifact fanbase by cancelling the Artifact 2.0 beta without even allowing users to invite friends like they said they would in January 2021 and does not deserve your financial support for these gross consumer-unfriendly practices.
