using a crt to play gmaes is moronic
using only one is double moronic
crts don't exist in a point blank time vaccum where one from the early 2000s works better with old games or even 80s crt
this is why shaders exist so you can blur it just right

If you assume that the main effect is blurring then you have no idea what you are talking about.
I do want CRT emulation to get better, but it isn't just a blur and if I had to pick between smearing vascaline on my screen or have no filters. I would pick the latter.
Because I own a computer and am not moronic
owning a actual old tv just to play video games is degenerate and moronic and should be left to the collectors trying to replicate the same look on modern emulators
Playing emulators on a CRT is moronic. If you have a CRT, you should play on actual hardware that produces an analog video signal, not an emulator that dumps a frame buffer to digital video.
Uh...I do? hello? My FXPAK Pro is arriving tomorrow <3 <3
I was all set to buy a PVM off this dude last year, but I literally have nowhere to put it. They're too bulky and heavy.
i use a crt filter
I'd say "shill thread" but I don't know who the frick would genuinely profit off CRT sales anymore. Probably some frickin' eBay scalper
CRTgays are the vinylgays of vidya
Kys
epic newbie larping as a oldgay moment!
>opinion that is objectively correct but has a fricking 'jak
I'm not sure how to respond to this
if you find yourself agreeing with 'jak cucks maybe you should reevaluate your prior assumptions
Anyone cooming over CRTs to the point there's daily threads on Ganker are literally on the same level as Ganker vinylgays
the difference is music was intended to be listened to in a flawless way
but old spirte artwork was designed with CRT televisions in mind
maybe if you're playing lightgun games but even then OP's CRT looks flat and not curved so it doesn't fricking work regardless
are you saying theres no flat crt

If jak poster has an opinion that’s better than yours, you should probably reevaluate.
since when did the liberals start putting crt in my games
If your CRT is that clear then you wasted your money and might as well be using an LCD screen.
>not buying the highest quality CRT ever made
>highest quality
>graphics now look shit but text is crystal clear
Not him but what the frick are you paying for, then?
Just grab yours off your local horders lawn. Most of them work still.

Intact Gentals
i dont fricking want critical race theory in my vidya get that woke shit OUT
That's clearly not a crt tv.
>OP right now
Not quite.
I have an OLED and can enable any filters I want at will.
i wish owning a crt could rewind my life to when i last owned one and bring back all of the good shows on cable and make used games $10 each again
The fake crt blur is gross
It looks good. Take your meds.
No it does not. You CAN do good looking fake CRT filters but that is not one of them.
I still have mine from 20 years ago but i don't use it because it doesn't matter.
I had to move mine recently and I couldn't do it myself. I started crying
