I love how many phases there are to this fight, he wont go down without a fight.
*Worst
TP is such a joke, Ganon can't even deal 1 heart of damage and is slower than regular enemies. Like everything else in TP it's cinematic and that's all anyone remembers about it.
So like literally all 3D Zeldas.
Wow so it’s no different then every other zelda game
literally every time anyone complains about difficulty it outs them as not having played hero mode literally every single time
TP was a medium difficulty game (by Nintendo standards mind you) nerfed into a babbymode game by way of moronic damage scaling, automatic shielding, and 2ez boss design.

This mod helps a little with the first problem and fixes the second problem.
you have to be locked on and not attacking to block, it's good
beat hero mode or get fricked
>you have to be locked on and not attacking to block
But when are you not locked on when fighting an enemy? Having to manually shield at least ensures you won't be automatically switching to blocking as soon as you're done attacking, adding a little necessary dexterity. In BOTW/TOTK you also automatically block, but those games heavily incentivize dodging and it's easier to get staggered.
BOTW and TOTK are also some of the worst combat in Zelda. Just spam arrows or use flurry rush and every single enemy/ boss is completely broken. Terrible games
Broken combat yes, but in one-to-one sword combat the enemies are more likely to actually damage you. Melee Bokoblins, for example, require a combo to be stunlocked out of hitting you, whereas in Twilight Princess just one slash is enough to stop them from even being able to attack. Enemies also have more health in BOTW/TOTK, TP had some pretty pathetic enemy health especially after you get the Master Sword (the mod I linked fixes this as well). And of course when they hit you, they do much more damage. There really isn't a single enemy or boss in Twilight Princess that can kill you in less than six hits, except maybe the battle on the Eldin Bridge.
It's lame as frick compared to OoT's, but it is better than Wind Waker's I guess. The QTE sword clashing really ruins it.
WW’s ganon fight doesn’t even let you hurt him UNTIL you get the qte prompt or zelda shoots him with a light arrow
>bait QTE three times
>win
Amazing setting, piss easy final boss. WW Ganondorf is a better fight.
TOTK apologists out in force. Your Ganon fight was probably the easiest In any Zelda.
They seem to really hate it when anyone praises any other Zelda game that isn't BotW or TotK. It's insanely annoying and just makes me hate them more.
I think it's because most of them started with BOTW. Fakest fricking "fans" I've ever seen
I feel it's a similar thing with Three Houses, there's the FE fanbase and then there's the 3H fanbase which are obnoxious as frick bordering on mentally ill.
It's people like you who continue to poison the well. FE has not been the same since awakening
Ah yes, there's the pre-Awakening and post-Awakening fanbase too. Couldn't care less, FEgays are never satisfied.
>the first post that mentions BOTW/TOTK is an anon claiming another anon is TOTK fan just because they criticized another 3D Zelda.
No one mentioned them until you mind-broken homosexuals brought them up. The definition of living rent free.
I refuse to acknowledge BOTW and TOTK as Zelda games. They are a new series altogether
Gotta agree but the new one comes really damn close to it. This one has my nostalgia on its side
The new one is three barely different phases of the same thing that you've already fought a ton of in the game anyway but with a couple new moves, which can't really be that interesting even ignoring that because the combat system is so simple and the balance is moronic
And of course we can't forget the fourth phase, which is so lethargic and barely designed that it makes the shitty Rito boss look crazy in comparison, only managing to be any better than the beast ganon fight in BotW through sheer set dressing
Does anything different have if you don't even bother to catch Zelda at the end?
Oh see this is where nintendo's genius design comes into play
If you go to catch her but then let go, it just starts the sequence over again from the top, while looping the music indefinitely
I can not believe people actually defend this game
I thought the last phase was a better victory lap than Dark Beast Ganon and the set piece alone was pretty memorable to me by comparison. The first phases weren't too hard yeah, but it was nice to have something that actually tests your flurry rush timing and Ganondorf being able to perfect dodge your attacks took me off guard and made the fight more fun for me
You have pretty low standards mate. Sounds like you want spectacle more than a test of any skill. Even SS had a decent final boss fight with Demise. That was just a test of its bullshit control scheme and it was both memorable and good. Same with Girahim actually
>a test of any skill
>3D Zelda
They're all just spectacle.
Demise and Girahim were tests of how well you mastered the motion control anon...
Mostly a test of your patience with the game reading inputs so blatantly. zelda games don't test skill, that's for ys to do.
I mean, sure that's cute and all, but I don't think that alone is enough to make it great
replace the dumb looking glowing glyph walls with like fire or just a sheer cliff edge then it could been kino
>*pulls out Fishing Rod*
Thanks for the free hit, Ganondork
Nah totk one is better
Demise is better, I am glad I continued playing because that boss battle made up for all the shit, even that goofy kraken.
The long ass Ghirahim fight right before that is also peak, almost made the bullshit waggle system worth it
I think it'd be neat if they went all in on the concept and used a more standard directional melee system like for honor, surely the well is nowhere near tapped on that for enemy/boss design
They need to figure out a way for every enemy encounter to not feel like a chore
Just not having every basic enemy be able to block your attacks at all times unless you hit them a certain way would be a hell of a start
If you did that, then you wouldn't even have to address the blatant input reading, either
