I like Toby’s sense of humor and attention to detail on storytelling but I’m not too fond of Deltarune’s characters as they are outside of their designs (especially the playable cast)
Outside of Spamton, that's how I feel. Which is a shame, because Undertale has some of my favorite characters in basically anything ever.
C'mon guys, berdly is pretty funny. And queen had her moments. Kris is an interesting protagonist. It's not JUST spamton.

susie went from bully with no friends to "le goofy best friend" in the span of a few in universe hours (makes 0 sense with the extended lore we got from the sweepstakes), and noelle's thirst isn't justified yet except wanting a replacement for her sister
Yeah, the main cast are the weakest point. Noelle at least has some intrigue going for her--but for a game that's so explicitly devoted to to Kris, Susie and Ralsei, they kind of suck and are way less entertaining than pretty much everything else.
Almost every character introduced in chapter was annoying at first due to be quirked up to the extreme. Papyrus had this same problem in Undertale but he grew into one of my favorite characters.
Eventually I grew to like most of them, except the bird but he’s fun to hate, and Noelle spending her screen time exclusively to flirt with Susie made me hate her the longer I had to endure it.
Susie and Queen are my favourite characters.

No. Once I start making something concrete, I can't stop until I'm done. Not making it weights on my mind. He can rest properly once Deltarune is finished. Until then, only regular weekends and holidays are excusable.
