Fun. I love invading people or being summoned to help clear areas/bosses and fend off invaders. Opening days of this game were the best.

Me too. Played pretty much all of these games offline because I think they feel a lot better as solitary experiences, just you on a journey and the entire world is against you .

I played this game 3 times this year, didn't play anything that released this year. Nothing went wrong, it's a future classic
Camera is trash, gameplay in general is really bad
Replayability is non existent
Navigating the "OW" fricking sucks and torrent ruins any sense of danger or need for stealth
Takes a while to get to the first fun dungeon and it's gated by an overleveled shitty boss
Honestly, 80% of bosses are appalling and you only want to get it over with asap to go back to fun exploration
All the secret dungeons are worthless, only the mines are important because it gives you smithing stones, and they're a chore
Can't do any npc quest without a full guide because they're fricking obscure and npc spawn and despawn randomly, some are time gated or script gated, not much makes any fricking sense.
Story is garbage feminist shit, with maidens being giga important and all male characters are turbo simps.
Most of the game looks like a rehash dark souls 3
It gets really fricking bad after a while where any trash mob can 100-0 you, and really ugly too.
Overall really mediocre game with padded ow and copy pasted areas and bosses ad nauseum. Dark souls games were MUCH better.

I loved this game at first but the more I play it the more I dislike it. 99% of the open world is useless, all the extra dungeons are boring and uninspired, the optional bosses suck and are way too easy, the main bosses are some of the weakest in the series, and there's more shit I'm sure I've forgotten. More builds are viable than ever, but I'd rather have unbalanced shit like hexes from das2 launch than this big sprawling empty ass open world and input reading gimmicky trash
FromSoft has been creatively bankrupt since Dark Souls (2008).
