I hope this game does well but man there's barely any marketing for it at all. How much gameplay footage even exists? And they haven't even released the price, if it's $40 or less I'll buy it day 1 but they should tell us the fricking price by now.
$40 is going to kill this shit. Reminds me of that game Wave Break being overpriced as hell and it had way more shilling and marketing than this. Even had music by Weezer in it. You couldn't come to Ganker around it's release without one of the developers having a shill thread up pretending to be a solo dev when it was actually like 12 people. Long story short it peaked at 33 players because they wanted $30 for a borderline tony hawk rip off with boats. BRCF might do 1000 peak players, maybe.

For me, if the game really does play like THPS, $40 is fair. All other THPS games I've bought on day 1 so this will be worth it. I don't think my immense love of Tony Hawk gameplay is the majority though.
i pondered the orb and it told me that one of the charters will have they/them pronouns and this will dominate discussions about the game at launch and make talking about it impossible
Looks like the kind of game I'd get hype for because it's fast paced action and then turns out it's locked to a shitty 60fps which is unplayable for fast paced action in the current year unless you're a shit eating moron with no standards
I can't believe its 2023 and PC focused releases are still doing fps locks when games from the fricking 90s could do unlocked framerate with no problem
>then turns out it's locked to a shitty 60fps which is unplayable for fast paced action in the current year
Damn sorry to hear you can't play 90% of the good video games that exist anymore (action games on pre-7th gen consoles)
I don't like the way these characters look. It doesn't look as good as the old JSR games. Visually it's too much like Future which I didn't like the look of as much as the first one.
Zero, unless you mean artistically. Lethal League (the same dev as BRCF) is pretty ripped stylistically. It even has similar-but-legally-distinct Ro-boy.

it's $40, probably better off buying it on sale

Having music by Weezer is a detriment these days

>$40
Probably gonna pirate it or wait for a sale, then. I don't think video games are worth more than $20.
It's confirmed for GamePass next month... I'll use that as a demo.
I’m excited, but I’m waiting for reviews and, more so, some extended gameplay footage
Looks awesome, I’ll be getting it as long as there’s enough content.

Post proof.

>jsr and jsrf are two of the only games I've ever 100% completed
This shit better be fricking good. I haven't been hype for anything in years.
Looks like the kind of game I'd get hype for because it's fast paced action and then turns out it's locked to a shitty 60fps which is unplayable for fast paced action in the current year unless you're a shit eating moron with no standards
And this also seems plausible since jsrf is stuck at 30fps so they barely have to raise the bar to outdo it
I can't believe its 2023 and PC focused releases are still doing fps locks when games from the fricking 90s could do unlocked framerate with no problem
I don't think they've said anything about framerate locks. Don't see why there would be.
Lethal League Blaze had an unlocked framerate so it would be weird if they suddenly changes hats on that for this

how many indie jet set radio knockoffs are there? it seems like theres always one in the works are has it just been this one game for a while?
