Kek moron
>he buys AMD
No, 4090 cause I'm not a poorgay third worlder. Enjoy your 8gb vram
Ok now tell us what games you are playing with it
>paying for a 4090 just to play modern AAA goyslop
Yep it’s copin’ time
>he buys nvidia's scam "budget" cards
Fricking lmao, even as an Nvidia gpu owner I know these are a scam
>even as an Nvidia gpu owner
post proof or you're an amd copelet
Oh no this poorgay thought he belonged to some club buy buying green team and someone else can't possibly think he's poor and moronic for owning a 400 dollar gimped 8gb vram gpu
>buy buying
your ESL is showing and you still haven't provided proof
I'm phoneposting in bed, can be bothered to turn on my pc it's kind of pathetic you think you're part of some exclusive club by owning [Brand]. Enjoy your 8gb vram e-waste.
The 3060 ti is an overpriced piece of shit, sorry dude
it's literally one of the best bang for your buck cards out there. EVERY cars is overpriced because of how fricked the industry is
even a """budget""" (still better than 99% of PC owners) graphics card runs any modern game you would ever want, what is with this autism
what games even have a chromatic aberration setting
Elden Ring, and you can't turn it off!
3060 Ti is literally fine.
Motion Blur: Off
Depth of Field: Off
fixed
I still don't really get what depth of field is. It looks like a simple blur of the background, but the Digital Foundry guys make it sound much more grandstanding.

>using vsync
In-line with G-Sync, it's only 1ms higher than without but you get a much smoother game.
Also V-Sync at 360hz is only 4ms higher.
Just use a global framerate cap and gsync. literally no need for vsync input lag.
G-Sync + V-Sync has the same input lag as just G-Sync. Just G-Sync still has some tearing.
Also the other comment was that V-Sync at 360hz is only 4ms input latency higher which is nothing as some monitors have 10ms input latency.
Vsync is dogshit and nothing will change my mind. Also depending on the game the latency is way higher feels horrible with a mouse.
It's G-Sync + V-Sync, not V-Sync alone.
Those two together make a super smooth game with no tearing / microstuttering at a cost of 1ms input latency.
V-Sync is still the same old V-Sync and without G-Sync has high latency.
You're overthinking it anon. This has been well known for 8 years at this stage.
You literally need to turn v-sync on nvidia's pannel you moron, otherwise g-sync will still have tearing. You have to have it on in there and off in your game settings.
Screen tearing at 4k looks like absolute shit. Latency doesn't even matter for modern dogshit games anyway.
get a gsync compatable screen they have been cheap for years
I don't even know what gsync is.
Then don't talk about shit you don't know about. Classic reddit moment. Go back moron.
The 4k monitor market is a joke right now, with most panels not being fit for use. Sure, I could get Gsync on a meme display like a 32" one, but you're not getting it for a proper monitor because barely anyone makes them.

how is the heat/fan noise ?
Gets hot on the chassis right above the function keys but that’s it. Vapor chamber liquid cooling makes a serious difference. Fan noise is completely negligible, kinda like hearing a regular laptop fan through ANC headphones
>Vapor chamber liquid cooling
>liquid cooling
you dropped this
He is sorta right, it IS liquid cooling.
Also surprised new high-end GPUs don't come in AIO-style coolers by default at this point.
No, it's not.

You know you can get native 1440p ultra with that card, right?
No he can't
You can on the 6700XT.
6700 XT is a better GPU
The difference can't be that massive, surely, I mean they're both $400 cards.
6700 XT is cheaper, faster, and has way more vram which is important in modern games. 3060 ti is a fricking scam.
show me games where 8gb becomes a bottleneck
note that allocation is not usage
>thread's hitting page 10, soon to be archived
>still no reply to these two actual questions
yeah "muh poorgay" posters proven to be utter morons shitposting yet again
not the 4090 guy but if you have a 4k144hz monitor i imagine a lot of games will saturate it
If you're playing at high resolution, which you should be, because 4k is the only sensible choice for a monitor, VRAM is important.
but a 3060ti / 6700XT class card is too weak for 4k anyway no matter if they had 48gb vram.

That creates in between frames, right? How does it differ from TVs using interpolation which is universally frowned upon?
thats dlss3. dlss2 is upscaling. its "different" because it uses AI.
Wouldn't this mess with animations that use heavy key framing? This probably only applies to 2D games or 3D games that try to emulate 2D animation styles.
It uses a lot more data to create more actuate in between frames
It is upscaling that uses a database of already trained machine learning that was trained on that same game, to render in-between frames.
Thats why theres always artifacts and blurs and mess.
Think about any game you played. Theres always a finite number of angles player can enter some room or area and what needs to be rendered on screen.
its huge number of angles but a supercomputer can actually go trough almost all of them and for the fringe 0.01% cases you can just use the closes one thats similar.
Why do you care? YOU will never be able to afford a card that uses DLSS anyway.
Why so defensive? It's just another piece of tech. Being interested in new tech is what you should be doing, no? And it SOUNDS like something we already have so I'm curious what are the differences exactly.

I never used dlss performance. Usually balanced or quality. But im in same boat as you anon

in my experience dlss just produces too many jarring artifacts at res lower than 4k
I need to maybe tey hook it on my oled tv and see how it is.

i have a 2080ti but a 1080 monitor, what happens if i use dlss upscaling for vsr also is this possible
you can use dlss and (dl)dsr at the same time to make modern TAA games look bearable even at 1080p so its actually a really good idea

what HOTAS do you use anon?
Winwing Orion, the gen 1 with the stock Hornet grip/throttle. They work great for chinesium, have a wonderful deadzone to the point I'm still at 0 in about a year and a half of use. Only problem is their flimsy flaps switch snapped when something banged against it once.
thats pretty solid I got the thrustmaster T16000M and its pretty good even tho its ugly as shit. Was considering the thustmaster warthog but it feels like overkill
The warthog is a waste of time, it's cheap junk at an inflated price. Better off going with VKB and finding a cheap throttle unit.
I'm in the process of building my own joystick because I want force sensing and I'm not paying 500 bucks for it.
What
said. Definitely consider practically any option other than the warthog at this point, its a relic only used by the people who get them for free or have had them for 10+ years already. I started with a T16000M though, they're perfectly servicable.
You had me until the Vsync ON troony
