I did one run a day. Not long, it was just a part of each day for me. All of it sucked.

I thought the routes only mattered to get an ending?
The end result of the routes are what matters for getting the true ending. This however is each possible path to an ending. Of which there are 326 in total possible paths, and the game tracks each, no matter how redundant.
You only have to do 10 routes to unlock the last story, but the game has 326 different titles for each route listed in the library section. It shows a name for every possible route you can take, each with slight differences for all of them. This counts towards true 100% completion.

Oh, I know. I just felt like I had to do this partly out of spite, partly because I wanted to put the whole thing to rest, and partly because I wanted to know the game inside and out before deciding that it's irredeemable shit, which it is.

Why did it take you so long?
The slipperiness as a result of the increased speed from Heroes is retained, with none of the level design surrounding it that Heroes had. The guns are unsatisfying as hell to use when you manage to get them to hit, but they’re still your only viable method of attack. The homing attack barely works in comparison to the one in its predecessor, as it’s weak as hell, has sent me falling through the floor on numerous occasions, and has no way to make it stronger. The spin dash builds up barely any speed and doesn’t have much use throughout the game. And melee attacks? lol.
Frick Chosen One, frick Waking Up, frick Never Turn Back, and especially frick Almost Dead.
