I would have loved to see a modern Silent Hill game with today's graphics capabilities. Exploring the fog filled town once more with the gated floored pitch black otherworld would have been pure kino for the modern era if it were done right with an actually good game made from the IP of course. Instead though its going to be a shit remake and then shitty westerner attempts at newer games if it even gets to that point again. These clowns just do not get what made the series appealing at all.
What kind of scratch is on the disc? Is it near the outer or inner edge? If there is a smaller scratch near the inner edge of the disc then it could be that the lens is rubbing up against it or something like that.

My PS2 slim started scratching my discs but the ribbon isn't even loose its like its just doing it "because" what the frick.
