Shinjiro did something impulsive and bad out of hatred and it turned him into a bitter, brooding loner. He sees his younger self in Ken. I thought it was pretty obvious, you must be moronic.
>takes his life anyway >does not end like him because he get groomed by the best girl and get to ravage her till graduation.
The game was over before the beginning.
If you couldn't tell Evil Glasses man with Evil Stubble was evil I don't know what to say. Ryoji was fine to balance out all the girl drama that happened afterwards.
Yeah hes clearly evil but like what was the point of him, and then you'd expect him to show up again, climb up the Tartarus maybe come back as a big boss monster but...no
And Strega are kinda shit for obvious reasons, being oddly outnumbered, never a threat, one of them isnt even evil, etc..
>Shinji regrets his Persona going wild and killing Ken's mother with collateral damage >if Ken kills Shinji, he too will live with the regret of murder
Thinking about wild Personas, do some kill their wielders like in Persona 4 because the owner hates himself? >Shinjiro doesn't value anything (the SEES mission or himself), so his Persona also lacks values >Chidori doesn't value life, so her Persona tries to kill her
Persona 4's Midnight Channel wasn't subtle about it, but I was wondering if the principle still applied when ATLUS was making P3.
>Chidori doesn't value life, so her Persona tries to kill her
Shinji and Strega's personas were awakened forcefully through faulty experimentation so they have to keep taking drugs to suppress their personas or else they go fricking berserk and kill everyone like happened with Shinji, but the drugs are also killing them so either way they're fricked, which kinda explains why they all are suicidal sociopaths.
They were written long after, but in the movies, Yukari's Persona also tries to kill her because she stops wanting to try to live after learning about Nyx. I get the impression it's because she's regressed back to the point where she's no longer able to face her Shadow and naturally shouldn't be able to control a Persona anymore, just like how Strega never had that ability to begin with.

Shinjiro awakened to his Persona naturally after Akihiko did. His control was unstable at first because he just naturally had some insecurities and self-doubts, which all got much, much worse when he accidentally killed some kid's mom.
It would have been helpful if he was alive in The Answer so we could see his flashback to when he gained the Potential too.
This wasn't nearly as bad as randoms would make it out to be. I kept waiting for floor to double/triple in size and make it tedious to get through like P4 was.
Some of the bosses were skill checks but you could brute force most of them.
There's a reason he's a brooding self-hating loner
The movie version of this relationship is way better.
Perhaps the remake can utilize better depictions of P3's events to make the story better. I don't need a 1:1 remake as I already enjoy the original.
>takes his life anyway
>does not end up like him because I'm not a whiny c**t
wut now, big boi
Ken is a whiny c**t by default.

I don't think Takaya got groomed.
Yeah ok its not grooming if you like it, just like rape.
Why does Persona 3 go downhill after this event
>after
funny, it went downhill when I had to sit through boring tons of boring, emo exposition after inserting the disc
I think it goes downhill after the Chair whateverhisnameis is revealed to be evil, jumps off Tartarus and then...thats it for him.

P3 has cool things going on but shit villains
>P3 has cool things going on but shit villains
So basically every non-P4 Persona.
Are you implying that P4 has cool villains.
Yes.
oh yeah i forgot Strega was a thing kek, now that I think about it, Persona 3 is giga KWAB in villains
If you kill your enemies, they win
>if you kill me I'll murder you
>"What are you going to do, stab me?"
>quote from man stabbed after stabbing a man
as it turns out anon, murdering people changes your personality, thoughts and behavior just a tiny bit. who would have thought?
I'VE BECOME SO NUMB
>as it turns out anon, murdering people changes your personality, thoughts and behavior just a tiny bit. who would have thought?
>boo hoo I am brooding and hurting 🙁
This b***h didn't die soon enough.

>heh
>what are you gonna do? shoot me???

Checks out to me
