Why are people like this???
- The game is only 1 GB, its not worth 40 bucks.
- The game looks old, I physically cant play old looking games.
(Zoomers will even say Gamecube/PS2 and PS3/360 games look 'too old')

so instead of calling that guy a gay and moving on with your day you decided to make this garbage thread
No one has replied to you because they don't want to admit the truth.
>so instead of calling that guy a gay and moving on with your day you decided to make this garbage thread
spot-on
Zoomers are moronic
>Yes I would like more of my space taken up
>If I pay $40 I expect exactly 40 gigabytes of storage to become unusable on my computer
Who thinks like this
It's Deep Rock Galactic, isn't it?
>Who thinks like this
They see articles about long AAA games like Witcher 3, GTAV and RDR2 taking up hundreds of gigabytes and equate file size with amount of content without delving in further on what exactly takes up so much space.
>Witcher 3
that one wasn't that large, even for it's time I think
>Why are people like this???
Zoomers are not people.
in some other thread i said that it's already a popular opinion: "small size = game is suspicious, not worth playing"
it's real
Zoomers don't understand that the majority of what makes the game what it is, is the game code.
And game code wont take up more than 100MB. its just 4k textures and videos that take up all the space
To be honest it is quite crappy
I bet a zoomer would have a conniption, then fall into a coma if they saw the filesize on Just Cause 2.
I remember before the game came out, people where complaining the game was gonna be shit because it was 4gb smaller than JustCause1.
Final Fantasy VI is like what 2 megabytes and it's like 40 hours long
This is an even worse metric to determine worth than the "how many hours is a single playthrough" one because at least that one makes sense if the game's not replayable at all
fr? that shit aint bussin no cap
I remember back in the 90s SNK would purposely inflate their game sizes so they could advertise a bigger number on the cartridge and trick dumb kids with rich parents into thinking the games were better because of it. Maybe these are the kids of those kids.
>purposely inflate
Source?
It was 30 years ago so my memory might have exaggerated the reality a bit. But it looks like at least some games were padded out significantly:
https://wiki.neogeodev.org/index.php?title=Meg_count
I don't know what they spent that memory on - the graphics/sound were better than the 16 bit systems of the era, sure, but nowhere near enough to justify the several hundred Mb vs. the 4-8Mb that was typical of the 16 bit consoles at the time.
Neo Geo games/console was notoriously expensive at the time because it was basically 1:1 with arcades.
$249 at that time would be $493.67 today, that's insane.
Totally worth it though.
>stellaris dlc
>have the contents of a literal steam workshop mini-mod
>90kb size
>sold for 15$
goys will be goys
that is literally the stupidest thing i have read this morning
and the correct term is "seems short" data is length not size
wait so Megabytes is a measurement of lenght, not of volume? What?!?!?!?
yes its a measurement of length
megabyte my dick
What a fricking moron, what game is this?
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (The Jet Set Radio spiritual successor)
Riddle me this, Batman. How much did 1 TB cost 10 years ago? How much does 1 TB cost today?
I paid 250 euros for 500 gb (2 gigabytes per euro). Now I can buy 1 TB for 50 euros (20 gigabytes per euro). That makes storage today TEN TIMES CHEAPER and that isn't even accounting for the inflation.
Shut up fox suck our cox
I'm not buying your Black person game.
>game size 2smol for 40 buckaroos
This has to be a bait. No way someone is this tech illiterate.
Most humans are actually that moronic, as evidenced by this entire website
go and ask him, nypa
>indieshit
>looks like garbage
>content lasts for sub 10 hours
gee i wonder, the filesize is all you need to know about the quality of the product these days over 100 gb=total dogshit, under 20, indie trash, 30-50 perfect balance between content and graphics
