It's the 2nd entry in an episodic game, there's always an audience drop off, it's about as likely to have impressive sales as FFXIII-2. Except unlike FFXIII-2 it isn't just recycling assets.

The OG looks either charming or really shit, outside of its pre-rendered backgrounds which still hold up really well. And with all this pozzed compilation wank going on, it's still the best way to play the game. Just don't tough anything else associated with FF7, it's pretty much all complete dogshit.
Play OG with graphics mods. Leave the gameplay intact for first time, it's an easy game but it has a fun system that will keep you engaged.

The game is completely sold out on Amazon Germany, which means that sales must have vastly exceeded Sony and Square Enix's expectations. I don't think I have ever seen that before.

I'm really curious about sales for this. Will it have growth from VII Remake or did they already use up the nostalgia people had and now they don't care. Like a third season of a Netflix revival of a show.
