7.6 Million people didn't beat Elden Ring and i'm willing to bet they are the same ones that keep insisting how easy the game is.
Crazy huh? Is it mental illness?

Crazy huh? Is it mental illness?
i didnt watch any of that shit and it was easy as frick, then again I literally scoured every inch of the map and was massively overleveled
The game is not easy
t.finished it on the first week
Alright, OP, let's break this down. 7.6 million people didn't beat Elden Ring, huh? And you're willing to bet they're the same ones claiming the game is easy? Well, hold your horses, Sherlock. Maybe, just maybe, there are other factors at play here. Maybe some people got busy with life or other games. Maybe they got stuck on a tough boss or area and decided to take a break. It doesn't automatically mean they're the same ones claiming the game is a cakewalk.
But hey, let's not stop at baseless assumptions. Let's throw in some armchair psychology too! Is it mental illness, you ask? Seriously? Are you a licensed therapist now, diagnosing people's gaming habits? Look, everyone has their own gaming preferences and skill levels. It's not a reflection of their mental health. So let's drop the armchair psychology and focus on discussing the game itself, shall we?
7.6 million? Where do you come up with random numbers like that? It's more like 8 billion people didn't beat that game. Or any other game really.
there are no 8 billion on this planet
You're probably one of those people who think the world is 2000 years old.
i believe in dinosaurs
2023 now
I didn't beat the game
Nice to know Tomar loves CBT.
You beat it , you have a heart of gold and balls of steel don't let them take it from you
I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of those people who gave up, only gave up because they got bored rather than because of the difficulty. I beat the game myself and it was alright but there were a lot of points where I was just very bored. ER is one of those very solid 7/10's to me, a big open world full of reskinned crap and dull heaps of nothing. it's a shame, especially because I had so much excitement for it after loving Bloodborne and Sekiro.
open world makes every game worse
Yeah I'm convinced that most games would be better if they were linear. Sometimes a small, compact open area can be good like with Deus Ex but Elden Ring was just dull as hit a lot of the time.
>only gave up because they got bored
i stopped right after unlocking the third zone. it was tedium doing dungeons that pretty much had the same design layout and theme. figured it wasnt going to get much better from there and quit while i was ahead
Got to the capital and lost interest b4 the boss. Game is too long/big, too much of the same. Will go back once I feel like playing again..
>I had so much excitement for it after loving Bloodborne and Sekiro
Why were you expecting anything good from Dark Souls team then? Bloodborne/Sekiro team were working on AC6 rather than Elden Ring.
I never finish games, especially open world games. Doesn't mean I don't like them, they just get repetitive after a while and my brain gets bored
over 20 million copies of elden ring were sold, and nearly 40% of people who bought it on steam beat the game
it's likely that across all platforms, 7.6 million people did beat the game.
It's definitely mental illness making these kind of threads 🙂
Bro that's cuuuhhhrraazy but didn't really need a new thread.
Why do you care how other people play games? THIS is mental illness. Do you watch streamers too?
I didn't play Elden Ring because I think it's not something I'd enjoy but I watched this vid out of curiousity to see what kind of OP you can get at the very start...
>7.6 Million people didn't beat Elden Ring
Does that mean the other 7,992,400,000 people on Earth have beaten Elden Ring?
If normies gravitate to your favorite hobby or franchise, it's over.
As long as they aren't roped in to doing some pseudo-mmo battlepass type bullshit then I don't care how popular From games get. It is pretty clear by now that they aren't going to cave and put in a dumb difficulty slider or whatever, they're going to give you tools like summons or whatever to cheese things, but otherwise keep making their weird slop, and I'll buy it every time. Almost no one else is delivering games like this at the moment.
Open world or interconnected hubs?
I'd rather have a shorter game with tightly constructed levels over a sprawling open map, but given how successful ER has been I expect they'll stick with the open world style for a while at least. While it isn't my first preference I wouldn't hate another open world game, there was still plenty in ER to enjoy in terms of great From level design. Just a lot of fat in between that felt padded.
When do we get more DLC information? After Armoured Core comes out?
OP, you watched the video. You didn't beat the game.
I'm sure there are plenty of people who beat the game and then looked up a guide to power level a new charecter for pvp.
if you can beat a game by watching a 10 minute video then it's not hard
Most likely they got bored. I couldn't even finish DS3, can't imagine going through that if it was open world slop as well.
I had fun with Elden Ring, but I just don't like it as much as I like the Dark Souls games. Mechanically ER is better, but Dark Souls level design (not so much 2) just feels better put together and more enjoyable to traverse and solve.
I guess the open-world thing just didn't really do it for me.
35% usually beat any game, this percentage might be lower if the game takes 30+ hours
The game is piss easy. It's also a mind-numbingly boring pile of trash with copypasted dungeons, empty open world and characters so shallow that calling them cardboard cutouts would be an insult to cardboard.
>t. pre-ordered the game, played on release, dropped it in royal capital and never launched it again
prove you finished playing as a level 1 naked wretch, or you didn't beat it
