I don't know why people always act like homosexuals about getting diet drinks with fast food. A normal large coke would be like 20% of the fricking calories of the mcrib meal and you also aren't putting a dump truck of sugar in your system. It's not healthy but it's notably healthier.

aspartame isn't bad, it's one of the most heavily researched substances out there. And even if it was bad for you, and gave you some very tiny marginally higher chance of cancer or whatever, it still is significantly less calories so you won't be as heavy with diet compared to regular.

And you know what has significantly less calories still? Water.

People that are too afraid to leave their own apartment or something? Why would you pay like a 20%-30% upcharge for shit just to save something like 5-10 minutes of driving down the street. Most of the places he orders from are literally walking distance from this apartment.

Just walk and buy shit yourself. The amount of people who seemingly forgot that delivery prices are a scam is baffling to me. Fast food places were already exploiting your laziness for financial gain in the first place, but now uber et al are double exploiting it to condition you to be even lazier. It's bad enough that you're eating fast food already, so at least havs the discipline to go walk to fetch it instead of allowing yourself to be double exploited by some parasitic delivery company

Yeah it's bad. I think with McD's you're expected to utilize the app which will net you a more decent deal almost every time and that's on top of reward point redemptions. I'm grateful I was born in time for Wendy's to have my back with $1 baked potatoes, snack wraps and doublestacks while I was making high school/college money.

Fast food places used to have these expensive traps on the menu for people who weren't aware or otherwise money conscious, like those $12 salad combos or any numbered combo at Taco Bell, but now it's become the norm and you have to order everything just right. It's a bad example because Panera's always been unreasonably priced, but what comes to mind is stuff like the "value duets" being $6 versions of certain $10-14 You Pick 2 combinations, and it's not well advertised you can just end up paying $5 more for the same things and God help you if you aren't ordering ahead at any of these places where you can sit there and experiment with the prices that come out from your selections. And then that adds to worker attrition because you've got buttholes like me sending orders to their computers while some old dumbest is taking up their attention in physical store space, all in addition to uber orders coming in. I've already gone on too long but I could go on

        Anonymous

I'm kind of surprised Panera still exists with their insane prices. This is how much they want for a chicken sandwich. That's just the sandwich too, not a combo.

    >$9.00 service before the other random fees and tip

For fricking McDonald's? And not to mention the opportunity cost of not being able to use the McD app and redeem a 25% off coupon at the very least. I'll get delivery once in a very blue moon in moments of desperation, but it's not worth the hassle for McDonald's. And if I'm getting something fancy, I'm still paying even more money but without the atmosphere. Delivery people befuddle me, hell they spend more on fees than I do on car insurance every month so it's hard to even justify from the angle of not paying for a car. And I get to have a car.

    >using a delivery service that inflates prices
Try again moron. $70 is still way too high considering most games these days are absolute garbage. Being able to afford it is not the issue, the fact that they just aren't worth the money is the issue.

    >Paying for delivery
    >Service Fee
How is it that Burgers have all that money to spend on slop and yet they are a Third World country in everything else? Like how is that even possible? My country is on the thin line between poor as frick and average economy and yet we don't charge for delivery or "service", we just have a minimum cost for a delivery and that's it. There's also the option to tip the delivery guy but that's optional.
Are burgers this braindead and lazy that they accept legal robbery such as this?

    >8.15 service fee, 5.99 delivery fee, 5.5 dasher tip.

I ate pizza in Rome on a patio and there was zero tipping. Meanwhile, people ordering this slop are expected to pay 10 different tips/fees. It's insanity.

I can watch a movie for $20 at IMAX, 3D and get candy, popcorn, and a drink for $15 more. Explain why a video game should cost $70.

90% of AAA games are literal movies, one and dones, bloated to the brim with cutscenes that lasts 30 hours because its bloated to sll frick. Imagine watching every cutscene as one continuous movie, it'd be absolute abhorrent trash.

This is what I did with Asura's Wrath and it was actually pretty enjoyable.
