7800 XT

This has to be a joke.
I just received picrel, DDU‘d my old drivers, swapped cards and tried booting my PC.
>no signal
I expected to run into issues but damn…
Back to Nvidia I guess

Every plug can be put in half-assed. If you plug a 110v AC plug in wrong, it can cause a fire.

If I leave a plug halfway in, it will arc and be a serious fire hazard, moron. If you plug 12vhpwr in halfway, it will arc and cook your GPU. Lrn2plug.

what for a psu do you have? did you plug the cables correctly in?
some psu's need to be correctly connected like my be quiet! 12m 850w on pic.

have you tried hdmi or displayport?
if you use displayport, try hdmi instead, install driver if you get a picture and switch to displayport after this.

does your cpu have a graphic chip?
if yes try per mainboard and see in os if the gpu is recognized in the device manager at all.

AMD has flaws but some of they we overattribute to the fact that it's amd to to bias and nvidia shillign when the same thing would have happened to an nvidia card. you would get problem no matter what if you run new shit on old hardware and OS, it is what it is, just try again and ill work for no reason at some point, dont ask me why the machine spirit works in mysterious ways

amd driver 23.10.1 with anti-lag+ on for the 7000 series is triggering anti cheat software in some games. they removed the driver and replaced it with 23.10.2, which deactivates anti-lag+ for now until they fixed this issue.

Windows bricked my 4070TI drivers as well. Switch to Linux now. Nvidia sucks on Linux unfortunately. More crashes and glitches than Windows than AMD.

I think it mostly happens on Windows 11
I've never had Windows 10 auto-install a driver unless it's a brand new GPU, and anytime I manually install a GPU driver Windows 10 never attempts to override it to my experience

Why don't you just junk your entire computer from that standpoint since you're un-wlling to troubleshoot what appears to be a simple issue
