          Correct, but not an argument.

autism no one cares about type order except for you wanting to win the most asinine argument ever

Water/Fire implies a primarily Water type creature with some Fire type element. Fire/Water is the reverse.

      I think he meant one that's not legendary/mythical/ultra beast/paradox.

Then we are actually missing quite a lot of type combos if start ignoring legendaries
        >Fire/Water (Volcanion)
        >Electric/Ghost (Rotom)
        >Electric/Fire (Rotom Heat)
        >Fire/Steel (Heatran)
        >Rock/Fighting (Terrakion)
        >Dragon/Psychic (Lati Twins)
        >Psychic/Ghost (Hoopa, Calyrex Shadow Rider)

Might be a few more, but Legendaries get a lot of unique type combos.

Rotom is a legendary? I've always considered it a regular 'mon, but in the same category as Snorlax and Sudowoodo. Not abundant, but not particularly special.

          >every kid in Alola, Galar, and Paldea owns a Rotom

This. When people want something that already exists, they're usually referring to a standard wild Pokémon, not a specialty Pokémon.

        >9 generations in
        >no tiger Pokémon
        >Raikou is a sabretooth tiger and a legendary
        >Incineroar is a starter
        >Growlithe/Arcanine only has tiger-like patterns but are actually dogs

I'd have sworn spiritomb was ghost rock, either that or cogayrigius, turns out none of them have rock type.

I don't count legendaries like Volcanion, because who's going to use one in a vanilla run? I want a standard fire/water or water/fire pokemon.

There are the official 9 unused type combinations.
Though if you discount pure gimmick forms, two more get added
    >Dragon/Fairy (Mega Altaria)
    >Fire/Ice (Galarian Darmanitan Zen Form)
Personally excited to see a Poison/Ice Type.

Bug/ghost is stuck on a gimmick mon and some typings are stuck on absolute shitmons like bug/ground
