I have an audio Technica 2020 for my mic and it's great. I do use a pair of superluxe 668bs but not many people recommend them
Oh I use a usb96(?) To drive the mic, but I think there's a version that plug in through usb

They just aren't as popular as other headsets. But they sound really good and they're comfortable if you buy different earcups. That NY audiophile YouTuber has a good review of them somewhere

because the cable is kinda moronic and they're just rebranded akg headpones
I like the way the cable is set up. If I roll over it with my char the cable breaks at the earcups so the jack isn't damaged. You're probs right about the rebranding I don't know anything about it
I mean the moronic decision to use a male 3.5mm pin and is the only headphones I have ever seen that I need a female to female connector for a separate mic

pic related is one of the best headphones ever created.
I just wish they didn't have the bulky coiled cable. I get that they're studio headphones, but using them in my setups has always been a nuisance.
