I'm expecting Control 2.0 with Max Payne skin. Probably new voice actors, and some adjustments (censorship and woke shit) to the plot. It will be as bad as Mafia Demake.
Remedy literally got the voice actor back just to make a little video about the anniversary of Max Payne. I doubt they won't bring him back for a remake.
my guess is that they tweak the mp3 gameplay to work with the level design of 1 and 2, swap a few minor voice actors, and frick up the graphics for "muh realism"
i doubt theyll put too much effort into it that they totally shit it up
they literally announced the remake the moment it went into pre-production. You might see it at absolute earliest at the game awards 2023, that remake is at the very least another 3 years off.
Just download the fricking zip file and play it, it's patched already, you don't even have to install it, literally just launch and play. Audio works flawlessly, widescreen works flawlessly, no mouse issues either.

Good voice acting, the graphic novel cutscenes still look great, fun writing and the sound design is excellent. Shooting is a bit clunky but serviceable. Could've used a little less platforming.
Needed a walkthrough for the final boss.

I'm foolishly hoping for a 1:1 remake, just with updated graphics and destruction from Control cranked to 11. But I know it won't happen.
