Redditjak and facebook frog are as "Ganker culture" as ragecomics. The latter were rightfully disowned and tossed aside along with demotivational posters and the like because they became overused and raped to death by cancer. We are more than a full decade past the point where this stupid fricking frog and the entire goddamn genre of bastardized feels guy edits need to be straight up banned, because the demographic replacement of the userbase prevents organic abandonment.

The trolling part should be gotten rid of entirely, if only because it's not actually used. Legitimate troll posts are left alone, at best assuming the poster is just stupid and sincere. The rule is only applied against posts like "have a nice day" (when did that start being bannable?) and when you make a post that someone gets offended by.
The racism part can stay, for the same reason wordfilters should stay (and be updated): If one is so intellectually stunted they can't come up with something interesting to say, they deserve to be unable to say it.

What difference would that make? Every board is already spammed to death by /misc/shit that jannies refuse to ever delete. Every board is already spammed with frogjak-posting permavirgins. Deleting those boards, or rewriting GR15 to apply to them because they're ACTUAL issues unlike cartoon horses, would be a net benefit.

My tinfoil hat theory is that the Feds installed a rule for site moderation that prevents any sort of grassroots activism because they are genuinely afraid of anons coordinating their efforts.
'No Raiding' was implemented well before chanology or any actual internet activism on Ganker. It also set off B-Day and the growth of 7chan when that place was a thing.

You realize this wouldn't make anyone leave Ganker as whole, right? To begin with people don't really stayed confined to one board, least of all /misc/, /LULZ/, and /qa/ gays. Usually they have interests beyond those aforementioned subjects so they would just flock to something else until they've eroded the culture of those other boards like they've done to their home ones. Once a specific set of autists take hold for years and develop an identity around their unsavory internet habits there's no way to truly get rid of them. Besides them just getting bored, I guess.
