before you ask yes i refunded lunacid, amid evil sucks, lethal company and abiotic factor are """fun with friends""" and balatro is just gambling. but i still got more enjoyment out of them than i got out of the last AAA game I payed for (Fallout 4)

but when i think about it slightly more deeply i see some glaring flaws
what genre do you actually like that AAA is properly serving you for? you actually LIKE playing the newest open world slopemup with crafting and collectibles and ubisoft towers?
you actually like playing dark souls 3 but worse somehow plus crafting and microtransaction skins?
you actually like playing dragons dogma 1 but with less features?

a lot of people are getting laid off out of the AAA space and taking their expertise to indie too. so it's only a matter of time before your wishes are fulfilled.
