So what is the issue with invaders? You summon two people to your game, they rape all the NPCs, a dude shows up and dies? I do co-op and invade. Yeah they really fricking dropped the ball with how large the areas are and small the 'summon circles' are. During my 100+ hour playthrough I got invaded less than 10 times and rarely found the guy whenever I invaded. Same with summoning buddies.

No. The only way you can be "invaded" if you have public password and have PvP enabled in server rules. Then people can join and kill you, but there won't be any rewards and you will have to disconnect manually.

What killed PvP is the African American carebear design of how invasions work in elden ring.
First, there's now opt in which is very complicated for solo players which means that by definition they will never be invaded.
In ds3 every time you ember up or kill a boss, you are automatically in. With one single move from removed 95% of playerbase from invaded pool.
Second problem is the hardcap on slots. Without special item, it's capped to 4. And you can summon 2 friends.
This means that every single solo invader will in 95% of all cases land against a group of 3, and not only that, he will be alone vs3 all the time because the pool is locked until he kills somebody.
This means that as an invader you will only invade 3 man squads and will never get fellow invaders helping you.
Don't blame the mod. From killed PvP themselves. And all they had to do is just to copy basic b***h ds3 system but no, let's frick over our longlivity by Catering to babies.

I'm playing through that and it doesn't do that, it just makes you spectate the other players until they all die and only then it lets you respawn.

don't know if this is true because we haven't really tried to do many questions, but given the credibility of the rest of this post, i'll assume it's another thing that works properly but has a few issues, and is yet still better than the vanilla experience
a few things where a player needs to snap into an animation like hugging fia or touching hyetta don't work right in coop, but you can just do those sp and then reconnect. in my experience you can also sometimes mess up npc quests or certain pickups if players do different things on their own and then reconnect due to how it syncs world states i guess, like one person (not the host) picking up a perfume bottle in sp that then won't be there for players who haven't gotten it in coop. but ultimately pretty minor stuff really.

I'm relatively certain that is completely impossible, you have to quarantine those characters with a different launcher and never load them via normal steam launch because you'll just get instantly banned.
Getting invasions working would be a piece of cake, since there is already matchmaking for co-op. You join using password, not IP. Just make the invader not need a password to get in.

Honestly a setup where there's like a 20 person Co-Op Campaign started with item sharing off and loot randomization on BUT they can be Invaded by up to 20 Recusants (Who are also able to go anywhere like co-op players) at a time sounds like it'd be a greatly fun clusterfrick of a time.
Hell make it a competition between 20 person teams to see who can clear the game first, switching off between runs. Sounds like it'd be a cool stream event for some Twitchgay.

Invaders really think to highly of themselves. You're not the big bad wolf. People aren't afraid of you. Seamless is played because its in general a better experience. You're not constantly kicked out of the hosts world and have full access to the entire map seamlessly. Even with some quests being a bit buggy its still a better experience than trying to play co-op vanilla.

So I tried playing this with 2 friends and it wasn't the best experience. At Godrick, we all died but then one of us could just respawn again and go through the gate, finishing him. Also Renala completely glitched out and just stood there, letting us kill her. The mod really breaks some boss fights.

The hosts still losing with those odds finally made a break through: Co-op mod in Elden Ring. Now it has stopped working they are upset they might have to face another red player in combat.

In Souls games multiplayer works in a rather unique way.
To play with others you join their world. If you want to help the host (coop), you're blue. If you want to kill/annoy the host, you're a red ghost. You have to open your gates though, if you want to play offline/without others, you can do so.
If you want a honorable duel, you leave your sign to get summoned as a red ghost otherwise your force your way in to kill the host.
In Coop once the area boss is defeated, your mission is accomplished and you leave. This mod prevents that, so you just keep playing the game together instead of having to resummon. But this disables invasions.
The whole purpose of the feared red man is to frick with people. But since PC is full of casual gays who can't even handle minor hurdles that might annoy them, they mod everything out or cheat.

Because stamina is one the main stats, it's consumed by doing certain actions, having it reduced to 0 makes you exhausted and vulnerable for a few seconds. Running speed and stamina consumption is dependent on your current weight limit.
You already don't consume stamina in friendly/safe locations which leads me to

I have no problem with people modding the game or whatever but the mod 100 percent made invasions very hard to find. Got back on after many months to invade after the recent patch on a level 50, and at that low level it takes sometimes up to 5 minutes to fine someone. Found the same thing with my low level twink in the starter zone. It's not all the mods fault, part being Elden Rings lack of solo invasion mechanics, which realistically should of been tied to popping a rune arc. The people who I did find were either chad solo players with the tongue active playing through, or legit new players that prob bought the game via summer sale. There is an argument to be made the co-op mod trivializes the gameplay a bit. I have no idea why From lowered the number of players allowed in a multiplayer session from 6 to 4. Playing a game like Elden Ring with 4 other homies and yourself, with no threat of invasions and not having to reset changes the whole dynamic of the game. I will say if you bought elden Ring first time and beat it with this reddit mod, you prob chug estrogen. If you guys are looking for fun pvp, just get back on 3. shits popping right now

Reddit Souls must be the dullest games in the history of adventure games. Seriously, each game involving running through a repetitious overworld fighting braindead, cheesable bosses to advance the nonsensensical story has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the broken enemy AI and horrible controls, the series’ only consistency has been its tedious roll spam combat and dated game design, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.
Perhaps the die was cast when Miyazaki vetoed the idea of including any story or fresh gameplay for Elden Ring; he made sure the game would never be mistaken for an independent experience that wasn't open-world dark souls, just ridiculously profitable eceleb marketing and cashing in on trends. The Reddit Souls series might be anti-Tears of The Kingdom (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-Starfield in its refusal of innovation, exploration and wonder. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.
