Is Ditto yokai watch? Is Mr.Mime yokai watch? Pokemon has had goofy designs since the very beginning, since not every Pokemon can be Lucario or Charizard. Even at the cringiest they are still a million times better as a franchise like YW or even worse d*gimon. I played cyber sleuth because people said it was good, it wasn't even as good as the worst Pokemon spinoff.

I don't know why pokemon got so scared of yokai watch, the franchise is basically dead.
Yokai Watch is why TPC won't ever change how Pokemon is as a game. Yokai tried to do something grander and different and complete failed so hard it killed the series. The monster design was never the problem with Yokai, they just tried something different and got punished for it.
My problem about pokemon design was never pokemon designs but how the models look ingame.
