I love me some TnA, but as hard as it is to believe, they're not actually that popular. In fact I would say they turn most people away because they will start seeing your product as some creepy sex thing. See DoA for example. The girls are literally the selling point and yet the games are quite obscure to the mainstream and not particularly successful.

Longevity doesn't matter. They fulfilled their purpose of garnering attention long enough for the product to be successful. Meaningwhile that "soulful" indie game down the block has 7 steam reviews and the developer will likely never make another game because they got less than $100 off their several year long passion project.

This was actually a brilliant marketing stunt by Capcom because they appealed to both audiences at the same time. She's over and done with very early on but they made it seem like she was going to be the main antagonist and a driving force for the entire game. In reality she's borderline irrelevant and gets axed early on. Classic bait and switch.
