Adding a Jirachi event to Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire without hacking

If you're into GBA coding wizardry this is a great watch.

Not only is rom cartridge is completely unmodified, but the Jirachi itself is legal and can be transferred to modern games

    >no hacking
    >so yeah I hacked the e-reader for this

Frick you, OP. Reported the video, reported you, bought a gun, bought a dog. Frick you.

      Is it a cute dog?

I ain't clicking it, but this situation reminds me of the guy who did the "impossible trade between gen 2 and 3" video that people used to call Nintendo/Game Freak lazy and greedy but when you actually watched the video it turned out that he essentially just had a computer running 2 automated hacked emulators in the middle.
      Is it the same guy?

What's wrong with that? I haven't watched that but assuming that he's using a legit unmodified RS cartridge, a legit unmodified E-Reader, then it's fine.
Back then you scanned event cards to unlock exclusive shit in the original games. Now you use a custom event card to unlock exclusive shit in the original games

that anon is a homosexual, he modified the eon ticket that's used for the e-reader to create a custom event within the game. none of the actual hardware like the cartridge or e-reader itself is hacked or modified.

I remember you being able to get jirachi from pokemon colosseum for gamecube or something like that

Colosseum bonus disc. It's rather rare, but yes Jirachi is technically easy to still get a distribution of for Ruby and Sapphire "officially." Although to get a copy of the bonus disc would be rather expensive. You could probably easily find an ISO and run that on a modded Gamecube, but then you'll have nightmares about how your Jirachi isn't real.

            >but then you'll have nightmares about how your Jirachi isn't real.
I actually did exactly that. Never thought about it

            >It's rather rare
Really? I've got one someplace but I'll be damned if I can find it.

Based. Also ignore the dumb homosexual trying to say this boils down to
      >With a little bit of editing and scripts you can cause this scenario to happen without editing anything!
He straight up ADDS a custom event to the game that gives you an item (pokemon) afterwards. It's essentially a convoluted patch / romhack. Bonus image for the definition of hacking by the way.

But I will say, the video upload doesn't claim it's without hacks, but the dumbfrick that made this thread did.

I always got the preorder bonus for games since you didn’t actually need to preorder to get them at the stores nearby where I live

The guy who made the video is a cuck who constnatly gets mad at everything in his streams and calls himself they/them (and constantly screeches about hackers in VGC despite hacking himself too)

I really can't get mad at people for hacking teams when actually hand levelling mons in game is still horseshit

He wouldn't be bad if he didn't hack himself too
