This shitty, outdated japslop is beyond boring after you've played a couple of them, because you've literally seen everything there is to this low iq genre.
My friend and I never enjoyed playing DQ games before. We played 11 and it held our interest till the end, good game. I think it's a good zoomer intro to non-pokemon jerpegs.
Not true at all, Ive always advocated that P5 is the best Persona game. Both P5 and SMT V have almost exactly the same Zelda cycle reaction on Ganker which I think is misguided personally.

I hate any form of top-down, party-based, individual turn gameplay with a fricking passion. Especially in RPGs - It is always repetitive, punishes you slowly for quick mistakes, and at least 25% of your game time is spent not playing as the character you're trying roleplay as.

2000 zoomer here. I like strategy RPGs but four-homies-in-a-row is kinda boring.
From what i've seen the Alpha gen is not a failure of a generation unlike the zooms.
