Admit it?

Admit it, Ganker.
You 'hate' him for shitting up modern games lately but when he retires you'll cry like a b***h
And that'll probably happen within 2-3 years

He's been shitting up games for 20 years. I can't wait for him to retire. He made a few great games ages ago, but he's been a cancer since.

        >shitting up modern games lately
His last game was 1996 anon. Mario 64 was the last game he had any involvement on.

The only value he has to me is Pikmin, and I've come to doubt him there too.

Not his game at all. Pikmin was directed by Shigefumi Hino and Masamichi Abe, and designed by Hiroaki Takenka.

Learn what a producer does people. Hint - they do not make games.

why does he hate story in video games so much?

he said it shouldn't be the focus - which is 100% correct.

The only person whose retirement would actually make me sad would be Nomuras, because I’ve been playing his games my whole life

Speaking of people who needed to retire fricking ages ago.

He's the George Lucas of video games people will always respect him for the early innovations and work. Because people unquestionably worship him out of nostalgia they frankly ignore the damage he has wrought since then. Nintendo would be a better company with him gone.

Regardless of how shit his current design philosophy may be, he made some of the greatest and most influential games of all time. He deserves the respect.

He needed to retire when that turd that was Mario Sunshine fell out. He doubly needed to retire when he forced cross bow training and Wii Music. A man cannot remain great forever and his last stand was the N64.

I do not hate him and I will bawl when Miyamoto dies. He is at worst one of the top 3 most influential video game developers in history, if not the most influential. I've made many friends due to his work. They'll make statues of this dude when he finally kicks the bucket.
