A smug, decisive closing line built on absolutely nothing
This is the epitome of Elden Ring, where all the reused empty spaces lead nowhere and before you know it you're at Radagon and you are left wondering how you even got there and why should you care.
anon, no need to hide it, admit you have it this way

What gameplay purpose would extinguishing your torch serve? You're walking back and forth in a corner of a level where nothing resides. Just a transition point between zones. What would extinguishing your torch accomplish there?
Why don't you use a shield instead of rolling? Elden Ring created a new mechanic where shielding against attacks can allow you to counter. So you're not totally a turtle behind the shield.
They also gave more offensive shields, so you can attack while you block at the same time.
They also included jumps. So you can jump over low attacks now.
If the attack is *really* slow, you can just call your horse to escape.
Add to that, all bosses have parryable attacks now. So if you like to play in a daring way and face the enemy head on, you can do that.
They really gave you options this time. If you didn't use them, then you're just kind of unimaginative. All you think about is rolling, so that's all you did.
it is, but now comes the time for shitposting, it's inevitable. Too many newer games have failed commercially since it came out, and many of them were compared against ER unfavorably. A reckoning is at hand
Absolutely mindbroken.

Stfu the game is shite and the devs are lazy
yeah why make interesting or creative gameplay when your whole game is nothing but hitting the roll button at the right time

All things in literally every other action game ever
So then why don't you do more than just roll for every situation?
That's would just be a graphical gimmick and doesn't change the gameplay one bit.
>thinks Miquella's Eternal Torch can be extinguished with water
as usual you don't even play the games
No games put out torches with environmental water. This isn't exclusive to Elden Ring
DS2 does.
Where? I cannot recall this ever being a thing
Roll in water with a torch out. I also remember the optional dark areas putting your torch out when you walk through water falls.
Huh, neat
Dragons Dogma. Dark Souls 2
This game is one of the games ever made
