And all the shitty minigames.
And all the fetch quests substories.
And all the slow ass random encounters.
And the 30 minute Exposition dumb in the final third of the game.
And the broken physics in the remasters.

is it true that later games brought back Lau and Kashiwagi? what exactly is the explanation for Lau surviving a bullet to the forehead and Kashiwagi surviving getting shredded with a minigun?
They both appear in LAD / 7 as side characters with some small references to their pasts. It's not really dwelled on at all and Lau Ka Long is completely optional to find iirc
>worse cast than 2 except mack >worse story than 2 >worse new cities than 2 even though osaka was a slightly annoying grid of nothing >worse combat than 1 or 2 >worse feel than heat finishers than 2 >worse soundtrack than 2 >worse (more) minigames than 2
Nah it's shit, yokoyama should've been dragged through the streets
Leakiya is the worst supporting character in the series, I'd rather have dub yuya or the tubby one from 6 over him.
Mine is just a step backward from Ryuji. They forgot to give him enough screentime beforehand so he has to proto-shibusawa the reason he's doing any of this right before the fight.
Most of the shortcomings come from shitty ports. The game shits itself with more than 30 fps.
The orphanage stuff was mostly kept to substories so it didn't overstay it's welcome
and Lau Ka Long fight while not the bess boss fight in the world definitely wasn't as bad as some other in the franchise
>Admit it. It's not THAT bad.
It's not bad AT ALL.
The only bad things are the constant blocking after every hit and the fricked up physics in the minigames. But that could be PS4 remaster only problem. I dont know.
I just wish they remake this for the city only. Okinawa is comfy like onomichi and if they remake it plz make it bigger.

I spent way too long on the first tamashiro fight because I didn't know that I needed to prioritize unlocking the double finisher attack. Left a foul taste in my mouth for the rest of this game, even though it does get better when you finally get to kamurocho and unlock the counters that are 100% necessary to play the fricking game.
It's the most forgettable of all. I keep remembering its events being so meaningless to the overall story that I tend to mix it with 4 as a whole game.
So It's not purely bad, just not as good as the others in the story or even length, but it serves as a nice setup for 4, and since I played them all on PC as a remastered re-realse I didn't care.
Worst minigames and substories in the entire series. Also has the most underwhelming Amon fight. Anyone that isn't intentionally being a contrarian has already mentioned the awful combat. Name ONE good thing about the game other than the cutscenes.
the minigames/substories are probably the most memorable in the series though
even something small like bumping into that yakuza and him pretending to be hurt is stuck in my mind
I literally can not remember a single substory from 4
I wish they made every boss as aggressive as the final boss.
The constant blocking is insufferable
100% agree
ouch, I've played every main series game except 0
all kino, owned

It's great. Kys 0gay.

kashiwagi is 100% still alive for some reason? Idk about Lau though. As much as I like 7 I think that's gay as frick
would've been kino for me if he didn't TOD me 3 times in a row

the lau ka long fight was kino
didn't care about the orphans thereever. still don't having played up to y5

But it had Rikiya and Mine??
Tachi wrestling was the only good part
rikiya is a fricking meme
he's shit
Rikiya rocks you take that back you homosexual

counter point, he has a cool ass snake tattoo and Kiryu goes
how is your opinion so anti-kino?
>Rikiya
ANIKI! ANIKI! ANIKI!
>orphanage sections
so 1/3 of the game? I can give only 7/10 then

Mine also did nothing wrong
>The only shitty parts were the orphanage sections
Holy filtered Kiryu-Chan
its a shame kanda got too ahead of himself when he trashed mine's office
This game's plotline is almost entirely meaningless. You could read a summary of it and just skip to 4 instead and nothing of value would be lost
The only shitty part was meeting women at burger king
AH SON OF A b***h!
I just wish they remake this for the city only. Okinawa is comfy like onomichi and if they remake it plz make it bigger.
Rubber bullets man
The only frickup is the fps thingy, stupid 60 fps make your heat gone in 2 seconds
>LIVE LEAK

this whole series is fun, i dont understand these threads.
kiwami 2 is much worse.
