People moved on - the most recent yabs were crying about guns for 1000th time, Johnny Depp case and abortion law. And if burgerland doesn't cover the news, then everyone just stops caring. It's basically back to 2014 with Crimea and Donbass where "oh yeah there's shit going on between two slav countries but nothing really changes so it's not interesting to discuss".

That said they did still lose money in so much they lost manhours on a game that can never be released that could have been better spent elsewhere. While thats not enough to sink a company I very much doubt they are happy about that.
It's the ugliest looking Switch game and I'm glad kino pixel art's memory is safe. They're like bargain bin California school of soulless art and the 3D textures look worse than Toy Story 1. This remake has all the hallmarks of a B team without a real leader making quality assurance calls, frick WayForward shit B team. Mobile game graphics look worse than Metroid Federation Force.
