the rewards are based on your keystone squad rating which require you to occupy x lvl nodes (give resource to upgrade matrix module), upgrade the matrix modules to x lvl, and defeat the boss node
move toward the boss node asap then try to get the other nodes i guess, killing the boss is a guild effort
i suspect the higher ratings require x amount of lvl 3 nodes occupied, so i will slowly move to the other route with lvl 3 nodes and abandoning my lvl 1 nodes
killing the boss is a prerequisite for getting the second reward, not sure if there's more than 1 boss, but you have a month anyway to get enough resources for upgrading the other stuff

Hate is a strong word. They are all manageable when their health pools are reasonable - it is only after they become sponges that I have problems with them. I guess I am sick of the bullshit.

Our goal is establish and maintain a route connecting the starting node and the boss node.
The "trailblazers" aka the ones who first conquer the node/s for others must dedicate that slot/s to maintain the link while spending the other slots on most profitable vortex powder nodes. If more than 10 people occupy a profitable node, an alternative route may need to be established. People who do not contribute to the link must occupy the highest profit nodes and just hit the boss as often as they can.
You can click on a node and see how many people are on that node. Only 1 admin needs to occupy a node to maintain the chain. If more than 1 admin is on a node that creates the route, others need to abandon it to spend their dedicated nodes most effectively.
Example on pic related, 3 of my nodes on the left keep the link alive while 4 others occupy lvl4 high energy nodes. Red is the main path, pink and green are the alternatives.
So my one-man guild can only reach joint rating level 2 at best? I'm tired of being kicked constantly so i decided to make one myself for some guild rewards ;_;

You want a simple answer to a complex question. The simplest answer I can give is it depends on your first sigil set. If it's lion, go for owl in 5, 6 (like me). If it is Virgo's meteor, go for dragon aka faster ults.
And in case you had lion, cups and dragon before (like I had), you either need to chose to minmax or just mix them. To minmax Buzenbo damage - lion, waves, owl. For more support and faster ult chains - virgo, waves, dragon. You can mix both and go for lion, waves, dragon. The good thing about this game that you can hardly choose wrong here)

Splitting team is pretty awful when the other team you've even at maximum investment is probably only half as good as the strongest one. Pretty moronic band-aid solution.
I already use Hades as a core because she is my strongest unit. I've been using Athena with SHera and Hermes but I don't know if it makes sense with her kit. I've seen that the healer Poseidon is also really good with her because of the resource on heal thing but then I have no idea who should my third character be.
But yeah, I thought that the rhythm game would reset her cooldowns but I have to only autottack until it is time to cast an enhanced ability.
generally speaking you want a combo ultimate so with hades you would pick oneiiroi for olympus team with athena

No. Combo ultimates can be good but using a trash unit for it is a DPS loss. Getting a gen zone bonus with a good character is more than enough.

This is why I leveled Hermes and I use both her and Hera as supports. I think she deals decent enough damage but then again she is missing enchants and so on.
And Athena's ult charges way too slow. I don't know why it is so. At least I will try to get one more copy of her and then start rolling for her functor. I don't really feel like pulling for Oceanus as his appearance is completely lost to me and is most likely targeted at female players. His "son" isn't Olympus but I've read that is good. And then it is the Hellagur? looking dude and Anubis (who I will probably roll for).

19 is unironically harder than 20 this time since you only deal halved damage against mobs. The real hassle for 20 is taking down the duo bosses with your other team and save Hades + Hera for the whale b***h so you can burst her ass open during modifier mode.
I actually realised they go out of their way to add new abilities when I faced Vidar. I went out of my way to check her skills in a demo again.
And now I know Hel has new skills too. But Buzenbo and shitsiris are the worst.

Buzenbo is actually pretty easy, hardest is definitely Hel
You can pretty much do every ilmango fight by running in circles and using skills/ult, if they added an actual time limit it would force you to go melee/take more risks and be more fun.
Imagos are probably the most fun fights for me. This round's were pretty easy though, hardest being Hel. I feel like the damage got amped on our end though with how fast some get bursted.
So I got my SS Hades to 25k CP. I guess it as good as it gets. I think my Fierce Assault is level 7, Enrage is 8. But berserk is only level 1. Should I take away from the skill damage one in order to improve Berserk?

I actually did skip the schizo backdrop because I couldn't be arsed to read it. I get it, she was the destined head of the family but got killed and the brother is a turbo loser. But god the story is bad. Like, everything involving that obnoxious kid and the mirror demon on chapter 10 is so - damn - annoying. Like, chapter 10 as a whole was pretty boring, but everythig about that plot with the kid just irks me for some reason. The kid was pretty bad from the get go, but as soon he became the main focus things got 100x times worse!
But what bothers me the most is the dissonance going on here. Like, why the hell are we fighting Athena in the gameplay? It makes no sense for us to assume Lando's POV and fight against our own side.
It's such an awkward decision and breaks your immersion really hard. Like, if the story wanted to use Athena as a boss, they could've just made her disagree with our people about something.

I'm also not a big fan of how each arc feels like a different game with a different setting. But i was able to enjoy the first two arcs. This nerd and his gay-ass boyfriend demon really soured my mood tho. I wonder if chapter 11 will be able to savage that.
Lots of gacha have fun/passable stories. Not book tier, but the same can be said about most AAA shit. Gacha games are fine. AG isn't( sadly. since most characters have fun designs ).
I lurk the Discords, so I heard that the story picks up at this arc and doesn't stop hitting the brakes throughout the next arc. Pic related is apparently the aftermath of an event where everyone gets BTFO. No one bothers to explain anything so I have no details.
I've been playing daily since it launched. I started PGR around the same time, but found myself dropping PGR in favor of this game. My reasons may not be the same as yours, but maybe it'll help you figure out why you're still here.
1) Hags.
2) The action gameplay is fun. Every character has some kind of gimmick, and having four different resource methods to use allows them to make lots of weird gimmicks. Athena's rhythmn game mechanic should be unfun on concept, but it plays like using Ars Arcarum in Kingdom Hearts 1, so it's pretty fun to use.
3) Characters have no mechanics locked behind gacha. Aside from the functors (they're easy to roll), you don't really need to roll for dupes to get new skills or abilities. Dupes are entirely a numbers game, and you can use every single one of your character's ability when you get them.
4) Farming is easy. You can now even swap sigils in case a new one powercreeps your current one and keep all thr things you built into it.
5) Animations are swift and don't slow down the game. Now that skill chains can be skipped, going through a fights is a breeze. Plus, the game isn't balanced around ult spams, so you only use an ult once at best on a daily farm. I like Honkai and PGR animations, they're gorgeous, but I'll be damned if having to watch the same animations four times on a daily farm isn't exhausting.
6) Dailies are a breeze and don't feel like busywork. Just farm your energy and it's done. PGR made me drop it because I realized my dailies were a lot of busywork clicking menus I don't care to click. Yes it has sweeps but that's more menu clicking and I don't even get to see the units I built do anything.
She isn't for everybody. Not that she is hard but she just requires more input from the player to do as much damage as something you play effortlessly like Hades.
She's fun. People say it's difficult to use her rhytmn game mechanics but it comes baked with heals and super armor so you can face tank anything that's thrown at you. Higher Transcendence lets you stay in rhytmn game mode longer which is why people keep saying she needs it, but you can get the most out of her kit with just her functor.
The story is terrible. And I cannot get myself to care about any of the character on a personal level. They had their chance and missed it, I am not invested at all.
Even the non-Greece part gets better because it focus on one set of characters instead of jumping around and introducing new Modifiers.
What I find fascinating it is how the studio tries to get it right but always end up copying the shittiest possible strategies from more successful games. Take for example the not-China storyline and Modifiers. From my understanding they are all their own Banner units instead of following rules we have now - one S and one A rank bundled together.
Are you playing on CN? From your statements about the story, I interpret that you are. And if not, I have no argument cause I have no clue myself how things go in future stories.
2.0 onwards just has no A ranks, and I suppose it's because they're cutting down on resources and focusing on the unit they're trying to sell. It tanked in China the fiest year, so I heard, and only revived with 2.0 and sucking Chinese wiener.
I am not playing on CN. The CoI storyline was obnoxious. The non-Japan one was the same but slightly better. Stuff just happens because it was meant to happen. Which is fair enough, I have never played Azur Lane but I cannot imagine people play it for the story. What is baffling is that the thing is voiced in Aether Gazer and they actually went ahead and added English option. And for some silly reason they keep asking about it in surveys when how the majority of people experience games.
I don't even know who is the character on the spoiler picture you shared. Based on appearance alone I have to guess it is Tengu but she is such a non-character that I couldn't care less what happens with her. Same thing with Poseidon and Ver; It was just not meant to be.
I guess some people will like how simple the story is. Or how non-existent and I respect that.
The fact there are no new A ranks is saddening but I fully understand why. The game is fun (fo the most part) but I cannot see it being successful in the same vein mihoyoslop ones are. And it is fine.

No comment on the story. I'm pretty sure that's Zenki that got beaten up. I'm pretty much with you on the matters pertaining to the story, and I only read it because there is literally no other resource that has it written down for me to skim. Those CN players were saying stuff like the story becomes FGO-like in the proceeding arcs, the character writing improves signifcantly, lots of drama and heartbreak, but it's all empty words to me because no one is giving me any context. I'm not telling you to trust me that the story gets good, but I am just generally relating what people ahead of us have to say. All I can do is keep an optimistic mind. Mihoyo and PGR stories were absolute garbage at this point in their stories anyway, so to me, I'm just giving AG a fair chance.
Azur Lane money will keep it afloat. Azur Lane's the big sister who prostitutes herself around so that AG can go to college.

The ultimate combos. I don't know why there is only one that is a trio one. I'd be far more interested in pulling for characters if they had combos. I really like Athena for example and even if I like Hera a lot too I find their combo terrible. Same thing with Anubis.
And then I guess the deities themselves. I understand making up kits can be annoying but I don't really understand why they've decided to go for Chinese beasts? for such a long time instead of releasing popular ones. And they should do something about Asterism, for the catch them all faction they barely have anything noteworthy.

Good point. I have no idea why the Pheasant Squad does not have a trio ult when those girls are so tied at the waist together, and the starter trio have one when they barely interact. They also make ult chains based on whoever they want without factoring in story significance. Like why does Skadi and Kali have an ult together? We've never seen them talk, hell, Kali has never been in any stories. It's weird. Instead of making fancy gacha animations, they could pour some budget to diversifying ult chains.
I'm holding out for Zeus, and I want it to be the bawdtiest woman ever who would frick anything and everyhing.

Oceanus banner lasts for 3 weeks, and if they don't change anything, patch 1.5 starts with Marduk first, which is another 3 weeks, then Anubis, which will overlap one week with Marduk's banner, so roughly 5 weeks from now.

No, Athena is a limited character and only appear in blue ticket banner.
Oceanus, S Shu, S Levi are normal character so they get rate up in both yellow and blue ticket banners. It's dumb why they even bothered having them rate up in both banners but that's how it is.
And then Hel and Tsuki are even more limited and only appear on their own banners, right? Honestly it is hilarious to me but I guess they were trying to copy genshin or some other "sucessful" gacha.

Jinwu, the girl with flaming sword, "powercreeps" Hades by doing the same amount of damage but doesn't require the divine grace management like Hades, her attacks also have frick huge range so she is also good at dealing with mobs, while Hades sucks at that job, but when it comes to 1vs1 bosses she isn't really all that better than Hades.
Hades has self mini-vacuum so her AoE isn't that bad. Current mobs hasn't scatter that much, for now.

I think Anubis is the one that got dubbed as m*le hades right? But he needs his signature compared to hades that still doing insane with *4.
Hades is completely broken, i have an hard time believing Chinks are better, yes they might do more dmg but that's it. Hades is not only ranged but her moves are all INDEPENDENT of her, meaning you can attack and dodge at the same time, on top of that said attacks have an absurd amount of tracking so they follow enemies all over the place even if they blink. She also has hard CC when she dodges so that's another layer of defensive utility.
If you know how to play her she is near immortal while doing more dmg than most characters in the game.
I'm fine with Oceanus since he's pretty cool but putting two more dudes after him is completely moronic. We also still have the barrage of chink names to go through as well.
From what I have seen, male characters actually have much fancier skillset than female characters, I think it's their attempt to bait people to roll for them.

During ults your timer still runs out. Like if you had S3 active or if you enter the signature burst mode, during ults animation it's still ongoing. You CAN somewhat fix it with the ultimate skip setting.

No idea what is the difference between normal people and Modifiers, what exactly is Modifier, is the main character special and what is the deal with alts. I know they use different keys but in story they just take a new one and have new armor equipped.

If you are SSS? (whatever gives you +1 warp) going 2-2 is the best.
If you aren't then yeah just pick executioner, it's mathematically more damage

Judge3+Executioner3 is overall ~+6.6% damage and Executionerx2 is ~+7.2% but Judge might be more helpful with trash mobs and getting to the first mm faster on bosses.
The second slot alternative for warp 1/2 is normal damage and skill 1 stuff with low multiplier, not worth it for most characters.
For example telekinesisx2 (+15% skill1 dmg) is only a 3% overall if skill1 makes 20% of your dps.

I went with executioner and melee damage. 3 and 4 are more damage while at full health and the 3 aether code one. And last is modified damage and I think will go with the one that gives her more damage when enemies have their armor reduced.

That's only true outside of rhythm mode.
During rhythm mode you can just spam it when it's up and it's by far your strongest skill, so I guess a reset during it is pretty strong.

I just tried out beating her up as Oceanus. Again. And I made sure that I don't lock on her in the tiny window I have before the camera change. And still Oceanus targets her and every ability moves me closer to her instead of attacking the whale even if I am closer to it.
..I actually went ahead and killed her. I don't know if the other anon was right and there is a targeting bug but I just didn't try to burst her down and let the game script run normally. So she whale protected her around the 3rd lair of health, I killed the whale and then shat in her mouth.

Well I'm glad I got his functor in the 7th pull. Think I picked a bad time to start this game as a straight man. My thoughts on the game so far is that it is mid in every aspect except flashy fxs and animations which are nice. PGR and HI3 completely mog it in everything else yet I feel an attachment to this one.
I don't know what people feel about HI3 nowadays but the direction it took in recent years completely ruined it for me. I really dislike their obsession with those goddam awful "open world" maps that they put in every new story chapters, packed with resources grinding and unfun exploration craps. The story itself also got much worse with everyone asspulling new herrscher powers and forms whenever they are in a pinch and need something to get out, character designs also took a nosedive because they have to look as fancy as possible to fit with their new herrscher form.
HI3 was the live experiment for what turned into GI, they're basically backporting what worked from GI into it. I can't stomach the monetization, grind, character designs, or combat of HI3, so it's not for me. Played about 2 months until I realized the what you did about the open world.

After the BP change, around patch 1.6 IIRC, they let you exchange for A rank signature functors, for F2P it would be quite slow since it would take around 4 BPs to get enough tokens to exchange for one, while paid BP could get enough per BP.
Also not all A rank functor would be available for exchange at the start, they usually add a new one to the exchange shop with new updates.
How worth is the BP? Not buying it this season because I started too late to reach level 50. Doesn't seem as good as HSR's at first glance where I can easily make use of everything I get from the paid one there as the grind is painful in that game.

ignoring the other resources in it, the battlepass is 10$ for 11 rolls, if you are just starting out you will feel that upgrade mats are scarce

Why are you acting surprised. Only the pheasant squad, Hermes, Thor and Ausar actually look decent. Everybody else is just developers coping and hoping for the mihoyo success. I knew I am playing a lifeless corpse of a game as soon as I downloaded the game and saw Tsuki's outfit.
So they didn't change the rate for the 90 rolls banner. They also have another separated banner with the usual 50/50 for Izanami and Ling Guang rerun, the 90 and 50/50 banners also have their own pity counts. So this 90 rolls banner is probably one time deal for new characters but rerun characters may have to put up with the 50/50.
Easily one of the top tier dps with low investment, but she needs Mitsuha to reach her full potential, some claimed they are even better than the Chink flame squad.
Removing the normal banner pool means they have to change the BP and bunch of mission rewards again, if they ever do that it's probably when they hit something big like 2nd anniversary or 3.0 version.
I don't really mind male characters but both Oceanus and the Chinese guy look unappealing to me. The only positive thing I can say about the Chinese rangers is that they actually look like they belong to the same faction.

the rewards are based on your keystone squad rating which require you to occupy x lvl nodes (give resource to upgrade matrix module), upgrade the matrix modules to x lvl, and defeat the boss node
move toward the boss node asap then try to get the other nodes i guess, killing the boss is a guild effort
i suspect the higher ratings require x amount of lvl 3 nodes occupied, so i will slowly move to the other route with lvl 3 nodes and abandoning my lvl 1 nodes

Wait so should I be going the same path as someone else or choosing a different route to the boss? I'm so confused
So, based on all the data I've gathered here.
Our goal is establish and maintain a route connecting the starting node and the boss node.
The "trailblazers" aka the ones who first conquer the node/s for others must dedicate that slot/s to maintain the link while spending the other slots on most profitable vortex powder nodes. If more than 10 people occupy a profitable node, an alternative route may need to be established. People who do not contribute to the link must occupy the highest profit nodes and just hit the boss as often as they can.
You can click on a node and see how many people are on that node. Only 1 admin needs to occupy a node to maintain the chain. If more than 1 admin is on a node that creates the route, others need to abandon it to spend their dedicated nodes most effectively.
Example on pic related, 3 of my nodes on the left keep the link alive while 4 others occupy lvl4 high energy nodes. Red is the main path, pink and green are the alternatives.

You want a simple answer to a complex question. The simplest answer I can give is it depends on your first sigil set. If it's lion, go for owl in 5, 6 (like me). If it is Virgo's meteor, go for dragon aka faster ults.
And in case you had lion, cups and dragon before (like I had), you either need to chose to minmax or just mix them. To minmax Buzenbo damage - lion, waves, owl. For more support and faster ult chains - virgo, waves, dragon. You can mix both and go for lion, waves, dragon. The good thing about this game that you can hardly choose wrong here)

I already use Hades as a core because she is my strongest unit. I've been using Athena with SHera and Hermes but I don't know if it makes sense with her kit. I've seen that the healer Poseidon is also really good with her because of the resource on heal thing but then I have no idea who should my third character be.
But yeah, I thought that the rhythm game would reset her cooldowns but I have to only autottack until it is time to cast an enhanced ability.
generally speaking you want a combo ultimate so with hades you would pick oneiiroi for olympus team with athena

No. Combo ultimates can be good but using a trash unit for it is a DPS loss. Getting a gen zone bonus with a good character is more than enough.
This is why I leveled Hermes and I use both her and Hera as supports. I think she deals decent enough damage but then again she is missing enchants and so on.
And Athena's ult charges way too slow. I don't know why it is so. At least I will try to get one more copy of her and then start rolling for her functor. I don't really feel like pulling for Oceanus as his appearance is completely lost to me and is most likely targeted at female players. His "son" isn't Olympus but I've read that is good. And then it is the Hellagur? looking dude and Anubis (who I will probably roll for).

Lots of gacha have fun/passable stories. Not book tier, but the same can be said about most AAA shit. Gacha games are fine. AG isn't( sadly. since most characters have fun designs ).

I lurk the Discords, so I heard that the story picks up at this arc and doesn't stop hitting the brakes throughout the next arc. Pic related is apparently the aftermath of an event where everyone gets BTFO. No one bothers to explain anything so I have no details.
I've been playing daily since it launched. I started PGR around the same time, but found myself dropping PGR in favor of this game. My reasons may not be the same as yours, but maybe it'll help you figure out why you're still here.
1) Hags.
2) The action gameplay is fun. Every character has some kind of gimmick, and having four different resource methods to use allows them to make lots of weird gimmicks. Athena's rhythmn game mechanic should be unfun on concept, but it plays like using Ars Arcarum in Kingdom Hearts 1, so it's pretty fun to use.
3) Characters have no mechanics locked behind gacha. Aside from the functors (they're easy to roll), you don't really need to roll for dupes to get new skills or abilities. Dupes are entirely a numbers game, and you can use every single one of your character's ability when you get them.
4) Farming is easy. You can now even swap sigils in case a new one powercreeps your current one and keep all thr things you built into it.
5) Animations are swift and don't slow down the game. Now that skill chains can be skipped, going through a fights is a breeze. Plus, the game isn't balanced around ult spams, so you only use an ult once at best on a daily farm. I like Honkai and PGR animations, they're gorgeous, but I'll be damned if having to watch the same animations four times on a daily farm isn't exhausting.
6) Dailies are a breeze and don't feel like busywork. Just farm your energy and it's done. PGR made me drop it because I realized my dailies were a lot of busywork clicking menus I don't care to click. Yes it has sweeps but that's more menu clicking and I don't even get to see the units I built do anything.

She isn't for everybody. Not that she is hard but she just requires more input from the player to do as much damage as something you play effortlessly like Hades.

She's fun. People say it's difficult to use her rhytmn game mechanics but it comes baked with heals and super armor so you can face tank anything that's thrown at you. Higher Transcendence lets you stay in rhytmn game mode longer which is why people keep saying she needs it, but you can get the most out of her kit with just her functor.
The story is terrible. And I cannot get myself to care about any of the character on a personal level. They had their chance and missed it, I am not invested at all.
Even the non-Greece part gets better because it focus on one set of characters instead of jumping around and introducing new Modifiers.
What I find fascinating it is how the studio tries to get it right but always end up copying the shittiest possible strategies from more successful games. Take for example the not-China storyline and Modifiers. From my understanding they are all their own Banner units instead of following rules we have now - one S and one A rank bundled together.
Are you playing on CN? From your statements about the story, I interpret that you are. And if not, I have no argument cause I have no clue myself how things go in future stories.
2.0 onwards just has no A ranks, and I suppose it's because they're cutting down on resources and focusing on the unit they're trying to sell. It tanked in China the fiest year, so I heard, and only revived with 2.0 and sucking Chinese wiener.
I am not playing on CN. The CoI storyline was obnoxious. The non-Japan one was the same but slightly better. Stuff just happens because it was meant to happen. Which is fair enough, I have never played Azur Lane but I cannot imagine people play it for the story. What is baffling is that the thing is voiced in Aether Gazer and they actually went ahead and added English option. And for some silly reason they keep asking about it in surveys when how the majority of people experience games.
I don't even know who is the character on the spoiler picture you shared. Based on appearance alone I have to guess it is Tengu but she is such a non-character that I couldn't care less what happens with her. Same thing with Poseidon and Ver; It was just not meant to be.

I'm not telling you to trust me that the story gets good, but I am just generally relating what people ahead of us have to say. All I can do is keep an optimistic mind. Mihoyo and PGR stories were absolute garbage at this point in their stories anyway, so to me, I'm just giving AG a fair chance.

The ultimate combos. I don't know why there is only one that is a trio one. I'd be far more interested in pulling for characters if they had combos. I really like Athena for example and even if I like Hera a lot too I find their combo terrible. Same thing with Anubis.
And then I guess the deities themselves. I understand making up kits can be annoying but I don't really understand why they've decided to go for Chinese beasts? for such a long time instead of releasing popular ones. Female edgelord called Fenrir, some e-girl/teen Loki and however it is as Gilgamesh and so on.
Gilgamesh isn't a deity though so I don't think he will make the cut. The way they picked the motif for the Chinese characters was also weird, I assume they think the divine beasts like Kirin, or 4 guardian beasts are more well known than the Chinese deities themselves so they decided to just go with it. And they should do something about Asterism, for the catch them all faction they barely have anything noteworthy.
Good point. I have no idea why the Pheasant Squad does not have a trio ult when those girls are so tied at the waist together, and the starter trio have one when they barely interact. They also make ult chains based on whoever they want without factoring in story significance. Like why does Skadi and Kali have an ult together? We've never seen them talk, hell, Kali has never been in any stories. It's weird. Instead of making fancy gacha animations, they could pour some budget to diversifying ult chains.

Oceanus banner lasts for 3 weeks, and if they don't change anything, patch 1.5 starts with Marduk first, which is another 3 weeks, then Anubis, which will overlap one week with Marduk's banner, so roughly 5 weeks from now.
I think Hermes isn't event reward but everyone gets her because it's S Hera anyway.

This is what I meant. By fire ladies you probably mean the first two Modifiers from not-China. But I have my eyes on Anubis, he looks fun and I've read (I forgot where) that he also deals moderate amount of damage.

Jinwu, the girl with flaming sword, "powercreeps" Hades by doing the same amount of damage but doesn't require the divine grace management like Hades, her attacks also have frick huge range so she is also good at dealing with mobs, while Hades sucks at that job, but when it comes to 1vs1 bosses she isn't really all that better than Hades.
Hades has self mini-vacuum so her AoE isn't that bad. Current mobs hasn't scatter that much, for now.
I think Anubis is the one that got dubbed as m*le hades right? But he needs his signature compared to hades that still doing insane with *4.
Hades is completely broken, i have an hard time believing Chinks are better, yes they might do more dmg but that's it. Hades is not only ranged but her moves are all INDEPENDENT of her, meaning you can attack and dodge at the same time, on top of that said attacks have an absurd amount of tracking so they follow enemies all over the place even if they blink. She also has hard CC when she dodges so that's another layer of defensive utility.
If you know how to play her she is near immortal while doing more dmg than most characters in the game.

Let's see, we are at part 2 of patch 1.4 while CN is at part 2 of patch 2.5.
1.0 version end at patch 1.7 so we have 3 more patches to go before we get to 2.0, and usually one patch lasts for 5 weeks for global.
2.0 to 2.3 are china town then we go back to Sasanami at 2.4, and Izanami will be released for 2.6 patch. Buzenbo isn't even revealed yet so at least she has to wait till 2.7 at the earliest.
We will have to wait for about 10 patches for Izanami, so see you next year.

If you are SSS? (whatever gives you +1 warp) going 2-2 is the best.
If you aren't then yeah just pick executioner, it's mathematically more damage
Judge3+Executioner3 is overall ~+6.6% damage and Executionerx2 is ~+7.2% but Judge might be more helpful with trash mobs and getting to the first mm faster on bosses.
The second slot alternative for warp 1/2 is normal damage and skill 1 stuff with low multiplier, not worth it for most characters.
For example telekinesisx2 (+15% skill1 dmg) is only a 3% overall if skill1 makes 20% of your dps.
I went with executioner and melee damage. 3 and 4 are more damage while at full health and the 3 aether code one. And last is modified damage and I think will go with the one that gives her more damage when enemies have their armor reduced.

Is it worth getting Hera to Omega just for Athena? For some reason I still don't understand why Athena's ultimate charges so slowly and I cannot be arsed to read the description.
Mine's omega but you don't really need, just 3scarab+3nibel, 4/4 ult charge enchant and maybe some starting ult warp and you are good.
buff atk/cr, heal so athena can facetank while doing the gimmick and be in melee range for sonic boom.
Tried double hera and it's about the same or a bit worse than the bunny depending on the fight.

Well I'm glad I got his functor in the 7th pull. Think I picked a bad time to start this game as a straight man. My thoughts on the game so far is that it is mid in every aspect except flashy fxs and animations which are nice. PGR and HI3 completely mog it in everything else yet I feel an attachment to this one.
I don't know what people feel about HI3 nowadays but the direction it took in recent years completely ruined it for me. I really dislike their obsession with those goddam awful "open world" maps that they put in every new story chapters, packed with resources grinding and unfun exploration craps. The story itself also got much worse with everyone asspulling new herrscher powers and forms whenever they are in a pinch and need something to get out, character designs also took a nosedive because they have to look as fancy as possible to fit with their new herrscher form.
HI3 was the live experiment for what turned into GI, they're basically backporting what worked from GI into it. I can't stomach the monetization, grind, character designs, or combat of HI3, so it's not for me. Played about 2 months until I realized the what you did about the open world.

Marduk is skippable unless you really like him, Hera on other hand is one of the must have characters since she's a buffer who works in almost every team comps, making her a very valuable asset.

Not really. I think I'll give him a cope functor for now since he's mainly a ult chainbot with Oceanus for now. I'll probably aim for S Hera next in her rerun to go with Poseidon.
Generally it's not really worth to get A rank signature functor since you better off saving them for S-rank ones since they aren't limited.
After the BP change, around patch 1.6 IIRC, they let you exchange for A rank signature functors, for F2P it would be quite slow since it would take around 4 BPs to get enough tokens to exchange for one, while paid BP could get enough per BP.
Also not all A rank functor would be available for exchange at the start, they usually add a new one to the exchange shop with new updates.
How worth is the BP? Not buying it this season because I started too late to reach level 50. Doesn't seem as good as HSR's at first glance where I can easily make use of everything I get from the paid one there as the grind is painful in that game.
monthly pass > 7 / 14 days limited packages > first purchase 2x shifting star > battlepass
ignoring the other resources in it, the battlepass is 10$ for 11 rolls, if you are just starting out you will feel that upgrade mats are scarce

because the other options are better, the limited packages are good but can only be bought by paid currencies, so monthly pass and 2x first purchases are ahead of it
battlepass includes genzone functor and also the cube thing that lets you level functors, but if you count only draws it's poor value
Paid bp is shit buy packs or skins instead.

How many a rank functors can you get out of a battlepass after the change?
One A rank functor costs 200 gold tickets to buy. F2p BP gets a maximum amount of 68 gold tickets per patch, paid BP gets another 170.
Is this their way of retaining new players? By holding them hostage for 25 days to get their selected mod's functor and by the time they reach 25 days they'll hesitate to quit due to sunk cost fallacy.
The game either clicks with you or it does not. There is no in between.

I mean you can, but her buff is limited on her AoE circle and I don't think oceanus can stick within the circle.
Most bosses don't stay within her circle for the buff to work either, her buff is good but she doesn't work well with melee characters.

Her rerun was supposed to happen with Oceanus banner, but since they skipped it people are speculating they pushed it back to Marduk banner instead, Hera rerun is with Anubis banner.

Nothing really, unless there's fragments for the characters you want, or you need to buy something to complete the dailies, just never buy anything that cost shifted stars in that shop.
I always buy the first thing on the list dor the daily mission and that's it.

Why are you acting surprised. Only the pheasant squad, Hermes, Thor and Ausar actually look decent. Everybody else is just developers coping and hoping for the mihoyo success. I knew I am playing a lifeless corpse of a game as soon as I downloaded the game and saw Tsuki's outfit.
So they didn't change the rate for the 90 rolls banner. They also have another separated banner with the usual 50/50 for Izanami and Ling Guang rerun, the 90 and 50/50 banners also have their own pity counts. So this 90 rolls banner is probably one time deal for new characters but rerun characters may have to put up with the 50/50.
I think the only good thing about the game is you cannot get offbannered when it comes down to weapons. Everything else is bad to mediocre.

Removing the normal banner pool means they have to change the BP and bunch of mission rewards again, if they ever do that it's probably when they hit something big like 2nd anniversary or 3.0 version.

I don't really mind male characters but both Oceanus and the Chinese guy look unappealing to me. The only positive thing I can say about the Chinese rangers is that they actually look like they belong to the same faction.
Friend wanted to check out the game and quitted because both of the active gachas were homos (and the same one at that).
Having to wait 15+ days to roll for characters to play the game with kills the excitement for new players, no idea what were they thinking.
