This story is quite confusing since Athena got sucked into some space-time continuum error where she met a still alive Lucian but in reality he had been dead for decades. Him and Colleen are normal humans so they aged and dead, but Hades and Oceanus are modifiers so they still look the same all this time, since modifiers stop aging when they awakened and basically live forever unless they are killed or something.

The fact you get to see all three characters on street is already an improvement over honkai and pgr. But sadly they have never done anything with it and by the looks of it they never will.
I haven't played honkai that much but one thing that I really like about pgr is that it has an aesthetic on its own and never strays away for it. Meanwhile our azur Lane broskies are so desperate they went for m-muh sexy nurse ninja or m-muh sexy chinky secretary teehee~

They are time gated rather than grindy, the new materials are available in event shops and DV rewards. Usually one circle of DV + event should be enough for one modifier, but you have to invest into that modifier a bit since there are 3 level to upgrade and the last level requires SS rank to unlock, which buffs their signature functor skill, so you need to have the whole baggage.
Basically buff/overhaul for old characters, "retrofit" if you play AL, they add one character per patch, usually come with rate up for that character if that's a S rank.

She just got it last patch, but sadly it didn't improve her that much, her burst damage is much higher but her slow rotation is still her biggest issue.
I think this tier drop has more to do with ice and fire teams being too strong, with wind teams slightly behind, while the staple dark team lead by Hades still don't have a dedicated supporter yet and have to piggyback Hera all this time. And even so there's some huge disparity in this tier since there's no way Hades and Asura would rank the same.
This isn't a purely power based list but an overall recommendation for levelling list, although in effect it does seem to end up being just a power list.
So is the Shinri banner special in the sense that it has its own gacha pool or does it share with the "limited"/blue tickets banner? I tried getting her in the beginning but got shit on with the bunny. Did the pity translate to Osiris or is it still there?
Yeah, the rolls you did for the first Shinri banner got carried to the next limited banner which was Ausar. The only special thing about the first Shinri banner was that she didn't get added immediately to the limited pool, but after this rerun she will be added to the pool and her status as advance limited character is over.
Thor next patch if you want to roll her for Ausar team or whatever reason.
Then new Tyr the patch after which is another skip for most people.
Afterward is 2.0 with full blown China town for 4 patches, unless you have intense hatred for Chink theme characters, pretty much all of them are worth to roll aside from the guy.
Then we are back to Sasanami and the reign of Ice team with Skadi, Mitsuha and Izanami.

Got bastet in a pull, now i can happily skip the current homos. Anubis doesn't seem to be as fun to play as the eyeglass homosexual whom i already got and i don't want to waste any desperate time farming sstars.
I didn't expect the wolf spirit to be so .. lame. At first I thought it is bugged but it actually goes away on its own if it kills the target. So Anubis is really decent for boss killing but super lame for aoe clears.
Visually I think Anubis looks super cool but his gameplay is disappointingly lackluster, at least based on the char trial. Dunno if his sig makes him more viable but I'm not upset about skipping him in favor of pushing my Hera past SS.
From using him in the solo challenge mode, he's not that great, his dodge effect just makes him use his S1, which puts him in place vulnerable to attacks for quite a while, while none of his specials do chunky damage.
He is an ult mode character, that's for sure, since without his ult mode, he's not hitting for shit.
Dunno if his functor makes a difference, but the trial characters usually come with those anyway and I didnt feel it

I have tried Jin Ei with Buzenbou but her damage falls off insanely, especially compared to heavy hitters like Hades and Ocean Man.
I could contemplate using Kingu, but he doesn't seem to chunk healthbars as much as he leaves himself vulnerable with his chainsaw grinding attacks.

unless you are keeping track of the exact handouts both server are getting they ain't that far off, since jp receive patches a day earlier than global, there's a few time where they had some compensations due to some minor bugs
Anyone read the current sidestory? It's surprisingly pretty good and filled out all the gaps regarding factions besides Aether Gazer itself. The admin and all of Aether Gazer didn't make an appearance at all, but that gave them a lot of breathing room to elaborate on CORG and what they're up to, and the Children of Iron and what they're about. Even showed how Modifiers awaken via Marduk in a flashback just to show how that's like. Even the conflict of the arc is pretty alright. Kingu's a little b***h but it's understandable why he's so volatile about his daddy's allegiances. Then Anubis and Bastet form a buddy cop dynamic and carry the arc. Was pretty fun, a big step up from Omorfies, which was already a step up from the prior arcs.
Sidestory also introduces this evil b***h, and she has a smirk that deserves correction.
That Chloe girl sure has some big boobs. Also I didn't know that the whole Mod and Visbane thing isn't common knowledge. Given by the scale of the attacks in the main story you'd assume that the average jane and joe would treat them like disasters and Mods being the disaster response team. It seems that going by the sidestories (the whole Gray tower thing in Rostarch and Hera's statement about Phantasmal Dawn's ability and her mod powers being all hush-hush). I'd say I liked the sidestories more than the main story only because of the intrigue relating to the whole ordeal but not really that compelling if you consider the whole story setting.
Haven't read Hera's sidestory yet but those tiddies have convinced me to do so tonight. It's fricking wild how important setting pieces like Mods and Visbanes not being public knowledge, and that there exists a dedicated branch to MIB memory wipes didn't get explained until now. But then again, Arknights put important setting pieces in the Rainbow 6 collab like how Oripathy induced death is like and how guns work in that world, and never explained any of that before. At least AG got around to saying it at all, so all good. Funny how a Sidestory has better storytelling than the main story. But maybe that's a good sign that improvements are being made and maybe it'll carry over.
Yeah it's pretty digestible and straightforward. Voiced dialogues really help me stay focused on it too.
Yeah. A good point to having voicework is that it prevents the writer from vomitting words, so everything's kept concise. Bastet's energy was really fun in this shtihole of edgy boys.
So what's the best way to grind for sigil mats? Just realized that the better sigil for Hera came out and need to make a set of those. Plus Bastet wants a new set too, as well as a bunch of other girls I've been too lazy to work on.
If you already upgraded the sigils that she currently has and you already applied clarifying construction, I suggest you hold on to it and go with the reforge option to spend fewer resources. This will allow you to reforge the sigil to the newer available ones. Kinda like an update to put it simply.

for dupes usually SS is just little boost from S, the real boost comes from SSS which is 4 dupes from S ranm
for personal sigs they range from good boost but not mandatory like hades's to gimped way too much without it like asura and tsukuyomi's, check the cn doc to see how important it is for each chars

Madruk event is basically a huge exposition dump about the world setting and a lot of basic stuff that they completely glossed over in the main story, since they finally realized that most people didn't give a shit about the story because they had absolutely no idea what's even going on since they put all those info inside the glossary and Vert's bond story, which people never bothered to read.
Yeah. If I bring anyone in for the PC patch, my recommended reading order would be to skip everything then do Ver Heart Link > Marduk Sidestory > Read everything that was skipped. It should be much easier to follow. I hear the next story during Thor's patch is very good so maybe just go straight to that if it doesn't need to be built up by anything that came before that.
I don't care about any of the stories. I've only ever actually really experienced the first Poseidon one where the protagonist moron rests on her thighs. And ever since they I've been skipped them. When it comes to Ver, she is also extremely boring and one dimensional with her shonen optimism and barbeque quips. Honestly I don't even know why they bothered with english voicepacks because the whole thing is non-existent. We've had people mention that it gets better but it is too late.
And I've never played Azur Lane so I don't know it is the same.

I mean is it really proven that it extends battery lifespan if I use it? Plugging while playing seems like a battery destroyer and I'm getting paranoid that it's still being charged even while doing the bypass feature.
If I remember correctly, phone with bypass charging has 2 lines. One go to the battery, the other one go straight to the machine. You should check the setting for "at what level of battery will it charge, and at what level it will stop charging when the phone is in bypass charging mode"

you don't really need to invest them too much. heimdall is useful for the % buffs, bastet is decent for damage but mainly good for shadow res shred and ult skillchain with boobninja
They add a shop which you can buy functor using the new token you get from BP, but not all functors will be available to be purchased at the start so depend on which one you want, you will have to wait till they add them later through patch updates.

You sound like a crypto enjoyer. The fact is she's good enough that her functor is easily the most valuable thing available there, and there's no telling who else they might buff to such an extent.
1.5 (current patch) > 1.6 > 1.7 > 2.0 (Chink patch)
So 2 more months. And forget about catching up with CN since they are 1 year ahead of global and if they try to go any faster than the current 4 weeks cycle it will have massive impact on the game, especially income for F2P players.
I think it only affects the holder. But I guess there's something like shared charge on ultimate skill chain so you can have 125% on one and 75% on the other and the ultimate skillchain still applies.

Ausar and Skadi, but they are tricky choices, both need SS + their functor so they can get their max synchro update later to unlock their full potential, not my first pick but it's something you should keep in mind in case they spook your rolls later.
Thor if you want to use her as main DPS instead of being Ausar addon unit.
Ling Guang since she is another broke ass buffer like Hera.
Geng Chen if you like using Chink teams.
Mitsuha if you want to invest into Ice team with either Izanami or Skadi as main DPS.
The new Hera skin could pass as a generic party dress so it should not matter much. But the way they are swapping and accelerating patches make it very hard to predict which patch will be global anniversary patch.
Yeah, she got her synchro update this patch that gives her buff much bigger numbers, which is all you need from her. And the best part is that she doesn't need the same amount of investment like Skadi or Ausar (SS+ functor) since her functor does jackshit for her role as buffer, which means she is very cheap to raise.
Looks like Sasanami part 2 is over for now.
All the 4 gods have been slain but the real mastermind is still around. Next one is probably about Nile or Asterism. I don't know how they are going to drop S Buzenbo since she completely vanished from the story after a certain point, some kind of side story maybe.
Okay. What is the deal with the blue Thor? Is it ever explained? Does it matter at all? What I find interesting is that (at least) fire Tyr follows the myth and is missing his arm yet Odin still has both her eyes. For some reason this inconsistency annoys me. Eh, at worst Ausar combo still gives your team universal damage buff which benefits Thor as main DPS while Zenkibo gives light element damage buff which is completely worthless.
I see that the crow god possessed Kagutsuchi's play style involves risk. I watched his trial and it revolves around draining his life to boost his skills.
He has a pretty simple combo loop, high burst damage, huge AOE range and built in heal so he isn't that risky to play, but he's pretty much a sitting duck most of the time since he needs to charge his fap hand, bosses with fast attacks and high damage would whoop his ass, or the annoying ones that love running across the maps.

She has good buff but it's very iffy to use because of the limited range. Her functor expands the range of her buff, so if you have trouble staying within that small ass buff circle then yeah, it's very important. I find she works better on range characters since they have much easier time catching her buff unlike melee ones.
I kind of don't know where to go with Thor. Ausar is one of the characters but what about the third one. Usually I try to activate the faction buffs so I've watched a video explaining that heimdall is great with Thor.
Just try to use Heimdall for now and see how comfortable you are with her buff. It would take age but post synchro buff Bunny is probably the best buffer for duo DPS comps like Thor/Ausar team, since she buffs the whole team which is much better than Hera who only buff the main DPS.
I shit you not the bunny is one of the characters I will never ever raise. I just dislike how she looks. What I find interesting is that 2 of the Chinese modifiers appear to be supports so they have teams on the ready.
Not the guy you were speaking to but basically it adds a ranged attack on her skill 2 and gives 2 traces instead of the usual 1. Plus a -DEF shred bonus. Now what I don't know is if DEF shred is more useful or as less of use compared to elemental shred.

She uses Thor and Vidar access keys during the fight with Geng Chen so she probably can only copy access keys from Yggdrasil modifiers. Since her Gungnir is also a copy, her real access keys should be those floating purple orbs

Alright, so what's good for HZG20? I cut it pretty close today with Oceanus since they gave a -50% water damage, but I'd like to be a tad more comfortable with a 3rd element on hand. What can measure up and do HZG20 alongside Hades-Oneroi-Bastet and Oceanus-Enlil-S Hera?
High burst damage with her skill 3 rotations but if you fricked up she does almost nothing until her skill 3 is off cd. Next patch also comes with a better sigil for her so it should help her damage a bit.
Jin Ei + Buzenbo + Athena for physical team. Or Athena + A Hera so Athena can burst faster. Add S Poseidon for 3 olympus team effect. Marduk can debuff enemy resistance.
If your Athena doesn't have her functor then it's not really worth to bother with her. It's better to just invest in Buzenbo and get her to Omega instead.

Yeah, I don't have her functor and I don't think I can manual her either. Looks like Oceanus and Hades are just that special... Can Buzenbou really measure up? I've been using her as an Ult battery for Shinri it I really need to use her, but even then, the setup of Jin-Ei - Shinri - Buzenbou didn't help for HZG20 either. The DPS was just not enough for the time limit.
Athena's damage is definitely very high, but you HAVE to facetank shit to do it, so you absolutely need to bring A Pos, which is overall a dps loss compared to other teams
2.0 should be there in 2 months since both 1.6 and 1.7 are small patches with just one new modifier, so they won't last longer than a month. Anniversary will land into 2.3 if they still go with 1 month per patch schedule, which is the end of Chinese town arc, but it's a very awkward patch to have as anniversary patch since it has no new modifier and only a skin gacha for Geng Chen.
Kek. They gave everyone a lot of event currency by mistake. Then they did a 24 hour maintenance to fix it. They probably tried to revert but in the end did literally nothing. They just took the chips from everyone who wasn't fast enough to spend them and write a wall of text saying that "everything was fixed".
I did them all without the last 2 stages of the tower defense. I like the way Marduk looks but I find his gameplay dumb. Maybe he would feel better with different codes and sigils but the demo one was not enjoyable at all.

Do you guys lvl characters just for the ult chain even if they're pretty garbage? It's suggested for a lot for team comp examples in the spreadsheet but I'm not feeling super inclined to lvl someone like Sobek for Anubis.
Yeah, I've levelled Oneiros and Enlil for those, Ult chains make a pretty significant difference in damage tbh, plus if you put Nibelunglied on them, you have an ult charger for your main DPS.
I think of it more like oiling the cogs than anything else

So I've noticed that Anubis's yellow code hurts him. Using abilities doesn't seem to reduce the cooldown of the third ability while you have the dog hide on you. And I wouldn't be surprised if it also means that I don't have any code activated for that one specific warp.

You're good for the standard ones. Ideally if you're rerolling you'd want Thor on the limited pools though. For sigil you probably shouldn't look at recommended ones for them in game as they're outdated.
I mean if he rerolling for Thor. They probably got enough to get Ausar with the amount of newbie jims while progressing. Otherwise eh, just progress with Asura and both poseidons are fine.
Just go through the story stages to raise your level to unlocks all other stuff to do in this game.
If you don't like Thor or don't plan to reroll the limited banner then you should save all your shifted stars for now, just use Posei and Asura to clear contents. Either wait for next patch and roll for Hades rerun or just wait for 2.0 update and start rolling for the Chinese modifiers.
Either reroll for Thor or save your rolls for 2.0 units. Progress story, unlock event, farm the event. You can use borrowed units there (I think). Farm as much as possible since events are much more efficient at getting resources than resource stages. Enjoy

She needs lil' Osi to pop off and you can already from the multipliers alone how insane the chain is. It'll become even more absurd once Osi gets her module buff in 2.0 which changes how her skills, codes, and functor works.
Thor is the case where the sum is greater than the parts. Her slow build-up on her unique bar and ult really shows compared to Oceanus even. But Ausar simply erases the build-up part and allows you to unga bunga with the very first seconds where you kinda need to wait for Hades puppet stacks.
I don't have her yet but I saw she's apparently getting a banner after Thor, so I'll pick her up there, Hera's on another team so is Heimdall fine as a support for her?
So who should be my third teammate for Thor+Ausar? Based on their combo it has to be some kind of Trace character that uses a lot of spells. Bastet is probably the best candidate because of the godlike Region buff but I prefer to use her alongside Anubis for the shadow shred. Buzenbo also somewhat fits but she .. feels super weak. ANd I've seen people say Heimdall but she is energy + the norse region buff is lame to me.
I mean when Ausar get their reworks. Enlil is probably the one that fits your criteria for the pair. He got wind shred to boost Ausar output, is a trace user and has good region buff. The only downside that's >m*le.
You do realize we get her for free and then can get her to SS thanks to the dream currency, right?

Are modifiers sterile or what? They seem to be on the whole adoption thing which I think implies they don't get preggers or can only do the plap plap without the second part.

I think the awakening changes them somehow. I've also noticed that Anubis is the third adopted son so far. I know that you stay the way you are when you've awakened because of the story which is a bit saddening once you realize characters like Enlil or Onieroi? exist.

She gains invincibility (damage immunity + SA) when recasting her 1/2/3 skills with duration based on bar charge and if you're running red codes she gains scaling damage reduction also based on bar charge. Blue form is just the indicator for her invincibility state.
Enlil and Oneroi might be one of the best candidates if the writers decide to explore the eternal child. Enlil maturing throughout the years and every one of his friends growing and him staying the same physically and Oneroi who from what I presume with her personality wants to stay as a child forever. Makes for the contrast. I wonder if the writers will explore the human condition for mods along with the immortal and superhuman part. Seems like a potential story point giving them human emotions in the first place. You can say this makes them more sympathetic towards humans they are assigned to protect which adds to their devotion. This could also work vice versa which makes them more exposed to the cruelty of humans (Hel and Osiris story line, also isn't Odin showing some cynicism already?). One of the mods could snap and decide to side with the Visbanes or go rouge.
If you meant the singer, since there is another visbane named Siren out there, and the rest of Miyahebi servants, then they were part human because Orochi fused them with visbane as part of her experiment. Then there are also normal humans who got corrupted and turned into visbane or something, but still live and pretend to be humans, Hel's job was hunting them down.
Sex isn't real, it's a digital world, all children are just recycled people stuck in the unironic wheel of digital Samsara, only broken by being deleted by a Visbane.
Mods are special in that either from the documents in the Rorsach side-story, they were pre-testers who fricked with the physics and are now given those administrative powers to keep fricking with physics to delete visbanes, or they're anti-viruses made from a seperate section of Gaia.
Either way, they probably stop aging at the point they do because that's what their physical bodies were like before they were put in. That's why Marduk is eternally old while Kingu is eternally young.
I think the problem are the early story stages. They are just super boring and are just a way to introduce characters. If something like Madruk's event happened earlier things would have been different.
Their mistake was putting all the important world setting into Vert's bond story and expected people to read it. That should have been the first story intro after the tutorial misson.

Athena's grandma was a looker. Though honestly, at this point I am kind of confused on the setting in Aether Gazer. Time and age is weird.
This story is quite confusing since Athena got sucked into some space-time continuum error where she met a still alive Lucian but in reality he had been dead for decades. Him and Colleen are normal humans so they aged and dead, but Hades and Oceanus are modifiers so they still look the same all this time, since modifiers stop aging when they awakened and basically live forever unless they are killed or something.

Ausar needs Thor plus the synchro upgrade system to get there. It's one of the main reasons why Skadi moved all the way to tier 0/0.5 nowadays.
How grindy is it to farm synchro upgrade system's materials?
They are time gated rather than grindy, the new materials are available in event shops and DV rewards. Usually one circle of DV + event should be enough for one modifier, but you have to invest into that modifier a bit since there are 3 level to upgrade and the last level requires SS rank to unlock, which buffs their signature functor skill, so you need to have the whole baggage.
What's syncro update again?
Basically buff/overhaul for old characters, "retrofit" if you play AL, they add one character per patch, usually come with rate up for that character if that's a S rank.
Did Tsuku get it yet?
She just got it last patch, but sadly it didn't improve her that much, her burst damage is much higher but her slow rotation is still her biggest issue.

I think this tier drop has more to do with ice and fire teams being too strong, with wind teams slightly behind, while the staple dark team lead by Hades still don't have a dedicated supporter yet and have to piggyback Hera all this time. And even so there's some huge disparity in this tier since there's no way Hades and Asura would rank the same.
This isn't a purely power based list but an overall recommendation for levelling list, although in effect it does seem to end up being just a power list.

Yeah, the rolls you did for the first Shinri banner got carried to the next limited banner which was Ausar. The only special thing about the first Shinri banner was that she didn't get added immediately to the limited pool, but after this rerun she will be added to the pool and her status as advance limited character is over.

Got bastet in a pull, now i can happily skip the current homos. Anubis doesn't seem to be as fun to play as the eyeglass homosexual whom i already got and i don't want to waste any desperate time farming sstars.
I didn't expect the wolf spirit to be so .. lame. At first I thought it is bugged but it actually goes away on its own if it kills the target. So Anubis is really decent for boss killing but super lame for aoe clears.
Visually I think Anubis looks super cool but his gameplay is disappointingly lackluster, at least based on the char trial. Dunno if his sig makes him more viable but I'm not upset about skipping him in favor of pushing my Hera past SS.
He is rather simple but strong from what I am gathering. I think just like with Athena the problem is his combo is with a very meh Modifier.
From using him in the solo challenge mode, he's not that great, his dodge effect just makes him use his S1, which puts him in place vulnerable to attacks for quite a while, while none of his specials do chunky damage.
He is an ult mode character, that's for sure, since without his ult mode, he's not hitting for shit.
Dunno if his functor makes a difference, but the trial characters usually come with those anyway and I didnt feel it

unless you are keeping track of the exact handouts both server are getting they ain't that far off, since jp receive patches a day earlier than global, there's a few time where they had some compensations due to some minor bugs
Anyone read the current sidestory? It's surprisingly pretty good and filled out all the gaps regarding factions besides Aether Gazer itself. The admin and all of Aether Gazer didn't make an appearance at all, but that gave them a lot of breathing room to elaborate on CORG and what they're up to, and the Children of Iron and what they're about. Even showed how Modifiers awaken via Marduk in a flashback just to show how that's like. Even the conflict of the arc is pretty alright. Kingu's a little b***h but it's understandable why he's so volatile about his daddy's allegiances. Then Anubis and Bastet form a buddy cop dynamic and carry the arc. Was pretty fun, a big step up from Omorfies, which was already a step up from the prior arcs.
Sidestory also introduces this evil b***h, and she has a smirk that deserves correction.
Yeah it's pretty digestible and straightforward. Voiced dialogues really help me stay focused on it too.

Given by the scale of the attacks in the main story you'd assume that the average jane and joe would treat them like disasters and Mods being the disaster response team. It seems that going by the sidestories (the whole Gray tower thing in Rostarch and Hera's statement about Phantasmal Dawn's ability and her mod powers being all hush-hush). I'd say I liked the sidestories more than the main story only because of the intrigue relating to the whole ordeal but not really that compelling if you consider the whole story setting.
Haven't read Hera's sidestory yet but those tiddies have convinced me to do so tonight. It's fricking wild how important setting pieces like Mods and Visbanes not being public knowledge, and that there exists a dedicated branch to MIB memory wipes didn't get explained until now. But then again, Arknights put important setting pieces in the Rainbow 6 collab like how Oripathy induced death is like and how guns work in that world, and never explained any of that before. At least AG got around to saying it at all, so all good. Funny how a Sidestory has better storytelling than the main story. But maybe that's a good sign that improvements are being made and maybe it'll carry over.
Yeah. A good point to having voicework is that it prevents the writer from vomitting words, so everything's kept concise. Bastet's energy was really fun in this shtihole of edgy boys.

If you already upgraded the sigils that she currently has and you already applied clarifying construction, I suggest you hold on to it and go with the reforge option to spend fewer resources. Madruk event is basically a huge exposition dump about the world setting and a lot of basic stuff that they completely glossed over in the main story, since they finally realized that most people didn't give a shit about the story because they had absolutely no idea what's even going on since they put all those info inside the glossary and Vert's bond story, which people never bothered to read.
Yeah. If I bring anyone in for the PC patch, my recommended reading order would be to skip everything then do Ver Heart Link > Marduk Sidestory > Read everything that was skipped. It should be much easier to follow. I hear the next story during Thor's patch is very good so maybe just go straight to that if it doesn't need to be built up by anything that came before that.

If I remember correctly, phone with bypass charging has 2 lines. One go to the battery, the other one go straight to the machine. You should check the setting for "at what level of battery will it charge, and at what level it will stop charging when the phone is in bypass charging mode"

I see that the crow god possessed Kagutsuchi's play style involves risk. I watched his trial and it revolves around draining his life to boost his skills.
He has a pretty simple combo loop, high burst damage, huge AOE range and built in heal so he isn't that risky to play, but he's pretty much a sitting duck most of the time since he needs to charge his fap hand, bosses with fast attacks and high damage would whoop his ass, or the annoying ones that love running across the maps.
I like the berserker type of gameplay a lot. Let's hope that the next Modifier will be fun as well.

I feel like leveling heimdall because of thor. Is it a good idea? And does she need her signature?
She has good buff but it's very iffy to use because of the limited range. Her functor expands the range of her buff, so if you have trouble staying within that small ass buff circle then yeah, it's very important. I find she works better on range characters since they have much easier time catching her buff unlike melee ones.
I kind of don't know where to go with Thor. Ausar is one of the characters but what about the third one. Usually I try to activate the faction buffs so I've watched a video explaining that heimdall is great with Thor.

Then use Oceanus. Thor + Ausar chain buffs all trace mods until Ausar's empowered mode ends.
I've read the guide and it mentions Buzenbo. I might use her and even go as far as purchasing the battle pass once so I can get her functor.
Just try to use Heimdall for now and see how comfortable you are with her buff. It would take age but post synchro buff Bunny is probably the best buffer for duo DPS comps like Thor/Ausar team, since she buffs the whole team which is much better than Hera who only buff the main DPS.
I shit you not the bunny is one of the characters I will never ever raise. I just dislike how she looks. What I find interesting is that 2 of the Chinese modifiers appear to be supports so they have teams on the ready.

Seems Odin's power is the ability to manifest the access keys of other modifiers when she gets a hold of them?
She uses Thor and Vidar access keys during the fight with Geng Chen so she probably can only copy access keys from Yggdrasil modifiers. Since her Gungnir is also a copy, her real access keys should be those floating purple orbs
She also used Apollo's and Shu's keys in the fight and also seized control of Geng Chen's orb from her.

Is Shinri worth it though? Her damage seemed lackluster when I tried it.
High burst damage with her skill 3 rotations but if you fricked up she does almost nothing until her skill 3 is off cd. Next patch also comes with a better sigil for her so it should help her damage a bit.
Jin Ei + Buzenbo + Athena for physical team. Or Athena + A Hera so Athena can burst faster. Add S Poseidon for 3 olympus team effect. Marduk can debuff enemy resistance.

If your Athena doesn't have her functor then it's not really worth to bother with her. It's better to just invest in Buzenbo and get her to Omega instead.
Yeah, I don't have her functor and I don't think I can manual her either. Looks like Oceanus and Hades are just that special... Can Buzenbou really measure up? I've been using her as an Ult battery for Shinri it I really need to use her, but even then, the setup of Jin-Ei - Shinri - Buzenbou didn't help for HZG20 either. The DPS was just not enough for the time limit.
Athena's damage is definitely very high, but you HAVE to facetank shit to do it, so you absolutely need to bring A Pos, which is overall a dps loss compared to other teams

2.0 should be there in 2 months since both 1.6 and 1.7 are small patches with just one new modifier, so they won't last longer than a month. Anniversary will land into 2.3 if they still go with 1 month per patch schedule, which is the end of Chinese town arc, but it's a very awkward patch to have as anniversary patch since it has no new modifier and only a skin gacha for Geng Chen.

Do you guys lvl characters just for the ult chain even if they're pretty garbage? It's suggested for a lot for team comp examples in the spreadsheet but I'm not feeling super inclined to lvl someone like Sobek for Anubis.
Yeah, I've levelled Oneiros and Enlil for those, Ult chains make a pretty significant difference in damage tbh, plus if you put Nibelunglied on them, you have an ult charger for your main DPS.
I think of it more like oiling the cogs than anything else

So I've noticed that Anubis's yellow code hurts him. Using abilities doesn't seem to reduce the cooldown of the third ability while you have the dog hide on you. And I wouldn't be surprised if it also means that I don't have any code activated for that one specific warp.

You're good for the standard ones. Ideally if you're rerolling you'd want Thor on the limited pools though. For sigil you probably shouldn't look at recommended ones for them in game as they're outdated.
thor is a tough sell if anon does not pull for ausar next week as well, could just save the blue pulls and wait for 2.0

Just go through the story stages to raise your level to unlocks all other stuff to do in this game.
If you don't like Thor or don't plan to reroll the limited banner then you should save all your shifted stars for now, just use Posei and Asura to clear contents. Either wait for next patch and roll for Hades rerun or just wait for 2.0 update and start rolling for the Chinese modifiers.
Either reroll for Thor or save your rolls for 2.0 units. Progress story, unlock event, farm the event. You can use borrowed units there (I think). Farm as much as possible since events are much more efficient at getting resources than resource stages. Enjoy

When gl launched people were saying she was better than Hades, but it's obvious now it was just cope from hadeslets.
She needs lil' Osi to pop off and you can already from the multipliers alone how insane the chain is. It'll become even more absurd once Osi gets her module buff in 2.0 which changes how her skills, codes, and functor works.

Thor is the case where the sum is greater than the parts. Her slow build-up on her unique bar and ult really shows compared to Oceanus even. But Ausar simply erases the build-up part and allows you to unga bunga with the very first seconds where you kinda need to wait for Hades puppet stacks.

For me its Hade+Oneiroi, Oceanus+Enlil, Thor+Ausur third slot is flex
First team - mishmash of units. Beat it today with Thor, Hel and Baldur
Second team - Hades, Oneroi, Hera
So who should be my third teammate for Thor+Ausar? Based on their combo it has to be some kind of Trace character that uses a lot of spells. Bastet is probably the best candidate because of the godlike Region buff but I prefer to use her alongside Anubis for the shadow shred. Buzenbo also somewhat fits but she .. feels super weak. ANd I've seen people say Heimdall but she is energy + the norse region buff is lame to me.

I think the awakening changes them somehow. I've also noticed that Anubis is the third adopted son so far. I know that you stay the way you are when you've awakened because of the story which is a bit saddening once you realize characters like Enlil or Onieroi? exist.

She gains invincibility (damage immunity + SA) when recasting her 1/2/3 skills with duration based on bar charge and if you're running red codes she gains scaling damage reduction also based on bar charge. Blue form is just the indicator for her invincibility state.

Enlil and Oneroi might be one of the best candidates if the writers decide to explore the eternal child. Enlil maturing throughout the years and every one of his friends growing and him staying the same physically and Oneroi who from what I presume with her personality wants to stay as a child forever. Makes for the contrast. I wonder if the writers will explore the human condition for mods along with the immortal and superhuman part. Seems like a potential story point giving them human emotions in the first place. You can say this makes them more sympathetic towards humans they are assigned to protect which adds to their devotion. This could also work vice versa which makes them more exposed to the cruelty of humans (Hel and Osiris story line, also isn't Odin showing some cynicism already?). One of the mods could snap and decide to side with the Visbanes or go rouge.

If you meant the singer, since there is another visbane named Siren out there, and the rest of Miyahebi servants, then they were part human because Orochi fused them with visbane as part of her experiment. Then there are also normal humans who got corrupted and turned into visbane or something, but still live and pretend to be humans, Hel's job was hunting them down.

Mods are special in that either from the documents in the Rorsach side-story, they were pre-testers who fricked with the physics and are now given those administrative powers to keep fricking with physics to delete visbanes, or they're anti-viruses made from a seperate section of Gaia.
Either way, they probably stop aging at the point they do because that's what their physical bodies were like before they were put in. That's why Marduk is eternally old while Kingu is eternally young.

I think the problem are the early story stages. They are just super boring and are just a way to introduce characters. If something like Madruk's event happened earlier things would have been different.
Their mistake was putting all the important world setting into Vert's bond story and expected people to read it. That should have been the first story intro after the tutorial misson.
That can always be fixed but I doubt Yongshi can justify the work required
