It is strange because the only memorable and interesting chapters are Marduk/Anubis' side story and Skuld. Everything else is just there. Vert in particular likes barbecue and might be in love with the Admin. This is everything that is going for her.

It's basically the same shit but more manageable. Since strengthening your characters is very linear. All same materials across characters, no required specific loot or doodad. Very casual too. The downside is once you have completed everything there is for a new player you just farm materials and wait for the next patch, challenge and/or story. If you don't like the idea of that then this might not be for you.

So based on the stuff here, the only characters that somewhat need their functors are the small israelite gremlin, Yinzhao and the new Japanese Modifiers. Pretty decent, I would say.
So what's next gacha wise? Want to know so I can figure out how to spend. Was thinking of spending more so I could get the skin, china functor, and the Jinwu's.
Looks like a skip then. Guess I should just roll for Functors. Though at this point, I have no idea what Functors to get. Issue is the amount of rolls to get all three, skin, functor and Jinwu dupe.
Chink tier list rate her functor as A so it's still a decent investment if he has nothing else to blow his rolls. Or he could save it for Ookuni synchro which massively improves her buff.
His other option is getting another Tian Yuan functor for Ying Zhao.

Geng Chen is used for her utility, not damage, she's there for more def shred, debuff and Tian Yuan team buff if you have her functor.
Using Meng Zhang with Jinwu fire team would be very awkward, you may as well just run another buffer like Heimdall if you can't afford Geng Chen.

2.9 released so we are graced with the new chink tier list like usual.
Zhiming is tier 1 as expected bu there's a few change from the list.
Jinwu dropped from 0 to 0.5, same bracket as Syncho'ed Skadi, so this made Izanami the only tier 0 DPS now.
Ausar, fire Tyr dropped from 1 to 2.
Synchro'ed Athena went from 4 to 2.

The summer event divided into two parts. It was the first part where they already sold three different skins and actual new banner already happened on july. The second part on august was essentially only rerun and gengchen skin. Also you can literally obtained gengchen skin for free if you have enough shifted star and lucky enough.

You can increase the rewards/swig regen proportionally to the speedup and end up the same, problem is slowing down again after catching up would feel bad if you increase it too much.
Red coins are used to buy both furniture for the +60 atk boost on a mod and the yellow coin shits that you use to unlock more rooms

But I do wonder what is going to happen with out anniversary. None of the Modifiers or events feel like they are worth now that Jinwu and Lingguang and the content with them is released.

I dropped PGR around the time the centaur Modifier was released but I remember people were chasing different characters because they wanted to complete teams and do harder content with them. Although it is also a good thing such a requirement doesn't exist in AG because you can bruteforce everything, I still hate how it is handled.

I prefer fixed buttons on screen => uninstalled PGR and played AG since day 1. One D*scord server I frequent still plays PGR a lot. I'm staying for Izanami, Ying Zhao and Luliang. AG thread is only fast when there's a new character banner.
Far worse, this patch was 8 weeks in CN, it's 4 weeks here. I guess the guy who keeps complaining about the game isn't catching up fast enough with CN server got his wish granted.
I mean CN revenue literally gone to shit when they were releasing homosexual banner back-to-back. That's why they just ignore homosexual altogether since 2.1 patch.
I think I will skip all functors that aren't S tier important now, reduced patch duration by half is fricking brutal since they effectively halved our gems income from daily and weekly, and I don't trust them to give us proper compensation to make up for it.
Honestly the endgame is easy enough with just the characters that I feel it doesn't matter if you get their signatures or not. It's more like a collecting game for your favorites than a sweaty tryhard game.
Like the only real challenge so far is the chasm tier 6 shit and even if you get the functor it's not enough you need lots of dupes and investment and it's not even worth it for f2ps.

The goal is to stack both enemies next to each other and hit the robot since he is more stationary. I used Jinwu because of her aoe, Lingmommy for chain and for "Aid" chip. Same for Buzenbo, "Aid" chip to hit my target. Without the chip they never fricking switch targets.
I now wonder if we have a modifier that lowers enemy heal.
We don't know what kind of moronic plan they have for 1.7, but as far as 2.1 goes we get cucked out of ~3,5k gems from dailies and weeklies since they cut it short to 4 weeks instead of the usual 6 weeks like it should be.
with the new 90 roll system maybe, but not if you keep losing 50/50 in the current system
With how fast they are skipping patches I am expecting we are getting Izanami and 90 rolls system for 1st anniversary now.
There are literally 2 filler patches, 2.3 and 2.5 that didn't add anything major to the game, and also didn't come with any new modifiers, they can merge their contents to 2.2 and 2.4 and call it a day.

Like other anon said, most gacha are simultaneous release now so this kind of shit isn't as common as before. On top of my head, Tower of Fantasy was one of my most recent played gacha that went batshit insane with shuffling banners, speeding up character releases and messing up release schedule.

Imagine if AG skipped several patches and launched the game with Hades instead of Shinri, then slowly shuffle the skipped banners back before jumping straight to 2.0 powercreep 3 months later. And unlike AG, ToF is a MMO so you have to keep up with the increasing powercreep, either by whaling or luckgayging like a god so you won't be a deadweight in 90% contents of the game, or pray that some whales show up and carry your sorry ass.
Dropped the game at the end of 2.0 versions so I don't know what's even going on that game nowadays.

Yes. They probably tied their hands with the new 90 rolls blue banners, so now adding new yellow banner character would make it more complicated than it should. Chance that they may just scrap it altogether with 3.0 update if the Sekhmet rumor is fake.
It's the result of them trying to build around the problem instead of fixing it directly. They can't just remove all other banners and merge everything into one pool since that would frick with the pity counts from various banners people are stacking. Without appropriate compensation, one wrong move would trigger the angry chinks and I doubt they could afford doing that shit.
In short, copied Genshin left a long lasting negative impact to the game as whole, and I wish more companies would learn this lesson.

base S mod can get 1 additional copy from farmable currency to get to SS, after that you need 3 more that can only be gotten from rolling so it isn't worth it since they aren't as strong as mods in precise banner

She is strong enough without those, I won't call using a poor man setup "maximized".
Also Mitsuha + functor is much more important than getting functor and dupes for Izanami, so that should be your priority.
It resets each week. It adds up your best score from each day. So play it once per day until you get the max reward. Then you can wait until the weekly reset.

It's basically the same shit but more manageable. Since strengthening your characters is very linear. All same materials across characters, no required specific loot or doodad. Very casual too. The downside is once you have completed everything there is for a new player you just farm materials and wait for the next patch, challenge and/or story. If you don't like the idea of that then this might not be for you.
I have a lot to say about the chinamen but they make good music. I wouldn't even make an effort to at least S the rhythm game if I didn't like the music in the first place.

Pretty sure Izanami is so strong she can also use the general Shinou one just fine.
Chink tier list rate her functor as A so it's still a decent investment if he has nothing else to blow his rolls. Or he could save it for Ookuni synchro which massively improves her buff.
His other option is getting another Tian Yuan functor for Ying Zhao.

Nowhere as bad as S Shu, she basically has the same derivative skill mechanic as Thor, one of her code line focuses on the dodge mechanic but other 2 are just more straight forward button smashing build.

Geng Chen is used for her utility, not damage, she's there for more def shred, debuff and Tian Yuan team buff if you have her functor.
Using Meng Zhang with Jinwu fire team would be very awkward, you may as well just run another buffer like Heimdall if you can't afford Geng Chen.
Sub dps support, pretty much the same as Mitsuha.

I am perplexed by the fact it gets worse and worse as time goes on.
It's the result of them trying to build around the problem instead of fixing it directly. They can't just remove all other banners and merge everything into one pool since that would frick with the pity counts from various banners people are stacking. Without appropriate compensation, one wrong move would trigger the angry chinks and I doubt they could afford doing that shit.
In short, copied Genshin left a long lasting negative impact to the game as whole, and I wish more companies would learn this lesson.
