I hate how this and PGR are the only remotely competent Honkai clones we managed to get before Genshin killed that market completely (with ZZZ to drive the final nail in the coffin), and they both chose to include males instead of just going full waifuhomosexualry.
Honestly all I want is a horny Honkai clone, but that's probably only gonna happen when CCP collapses or pirate bay AIs progress far enough

This game originally wasn't going to have male characters, they teased the game as a bishoujo(think Azur Lane/Blue Archive) but then added in male characters mid-late into development which of course pissed the Chinks off to the point that the devs had to confirm on stream and on taptap(not sure about this) that the male characters will not be used in shipshit/ntr(chinks were calling it that not me).
Would be nice if the devs decided to just pretend the male characters don't exist (aside from the player, of course) or even retcon them instead of making more male characters. Seriously, just let PGR and Genshin have the fujos, you don't even have the marketing budget to compete with the former

its combat looks quite engaging. ultimate mix system sounds like it will be a blast to play around with. I dislike the fact we can't character switch. & its particle effects are way overdone. in some boss fights, they took up 40-60% of the screen every couple of seconds. really hard on the eyes. just gonna have to bear with it.

I really dislike the character switch system, especially when it's done to an extreme like HI3, where those brand new characters exist solely just to cast their ult once every 20 seconds.

Exploration rewards are always calculated into the total earning per patch by israelitehoyo. There's usually less reward from event when there's new map. Heck, remember the apologems from delayed update? The earning from following patches are way lower than usual to compensate for that apologems. The patch where they added 1 aqc fate per archon quest clear? We got lower gems income from event too so the total roll still around the average per patch.
Games with a PC client are massively favored nowadays, ToF is still afloat because of it. This being another honkai clone while not having a pc client will kill the interest of the people by a tenfold

Most gachas that has both males and females almost never ship the two together. There's very, very few exceptions but most of them interacts with the same gender or the player. Genshin is the best example for this. All the girls are really chummy with each other but never with the men, and vice versa.
I quit genshin shortly. But I'm pretty sure there's some shipteasing line on character itself. They didn't show it on event/main story, but it was pretty enough. Such as zhongli peeking e-girl ningguang while selling her wares. And I pretty sure heard some people buttblasted since scara or something changed because of nahida. You can't say genshin are the best on never ship department while many of the evidence said otherwise in the eyes of shipper.
Ninguang is shipped with the pirate lady I forgot her name, and I don't think she ever actually interacted with Zhongli. Zhongli paying attention to everyone makes sense, he was supposed to be the god of the land.
I personally don't know anything about Nahida cause I dropped the game before Sumeru. But honestly that's probably it, like I said there's some example but very, very few. A lot of stuff are ""teased"" in character profile like Fischl being close friends with Bennett, but they barely show up together and yet she has a whole event where she bickers with Mona all the time like a married couple.

It has lower guaranteed. I know mihomosexual rigged yada yada on 76 or so, but you can really go all the way into 90 if you're lucklet and aether has clear guaranteed on 70. So probably it isn't that far on your income to char releases comparison.
The math in that youtube video is ~35 pulls every 42 days, so one guaranteed 5* every ~80-90 days, but you still have to win the coinflip

I've never actually played Genshin, but I was under the assumption that Genshin was about 1 soft pity per patch, which is 6 weeks, which is ~45 days
The math the guy in the YouTube video did is half of a 5* per 6 weeks

Different business model. Genshin releases characters very sparely but puts huge pressure on people to roll for them since they won't get a rerun for another 6 months.
JP games tend give you more rolls but also love to rapid firing characters in quick succession to bait people. They also spam seasonal limited like mad.
It's really just matter of adjusting to which kind of israelites you are dealing with.
Personally, I would much rather have the israelites that let me roll on banners more than 4 times per year. I'm playing a gacha game, after all. That's just me though
Genshin is the most generous gacha of all, half the banners are males that you can skip and then maybe 50% of the girls you will like enough to pull for.
Quit playing that shit with 120k primos sitting around right after pulling nahida and they haven't added a new 5* since that I would pull for. If I kept playing I'd be sitting there with over 180k unless I started going for cons/weapons which I don't need since 36* is (or at least was) easy. Pretty sure when I go back in 4 years when the first story arc finishes I will have enough to pull for every cute girl I missed out on. Kind of nice but also kind of sad.

Banners with yellow letters are limited, blue are normal characters that will be added to permanent pool after their pickup duration is over.
No one ever mentioned about yellow ticket income, but after looking through all the available source in game, they mostly come from login and pass rewards. Events may give a few more but I don't think there will be enough for people to just roll whenever they feel like.
The yellow one is event reward, she also has a rate up in standard pool at the same time, there are conflicting sources about the red one, the bilibili wiki says she is limited but that banner schedule says she is permanent.

For me, I kind off burn out with all the random sigil farm, not even the highest difficulty guarantee a 5* drop of a sigil. The bonus is all random, the respect is also random, and the skill is random.
The gatcha is bad at least for me. Hard pity on all 3 banners and knowing there are male characters that will be released on the future banner that going to dilute the banner even more is disheartening.
The dupe system is horrible. The worst that I have ever seen. Multiple copies of a character just to get a rank up and you cannot farm the shard anywhere.

Coming from PGR the Sigil farm is not good for things you already mentioned.
I have yet to see the impact of dupe system as I don't know what is this game's end game stuff on the CN server and how obtainable/impactful rewards are to have an opinion.
PGR ruined other gachas for me because of its 100% guarantee on upcoming S-ranks. It's just slow like 2 months every S rank but you can guarantee it if you do your dailies and weeklies.
What I don't like in AG is their humanoid boss fights, fighting Ethan and his girl and another dude feels like a b***h.
Extremity Dodge doesn't feel "snappy" like in PGR and I feel the cooldown is too long, maybe it's on purpose since the 2 AIs can trigger it as well.
Despite those I still enjoy the game, could still be in honeymoon phase but we'll see a few patches in.

So Skadi is permanently going into the limited pool after her banner. Still going to pull because frick relying on losing 50/50 for that, was a monalet for more than a year not gonna make the same mistake.
They have the same wording for Ausar, so only Tsukuyomi is actually limited to her banner.
They also more or less confirmed next banner is S Leviathan.

It's a dead game anon, if it can't survive on /vg/, it's likely not going to last very long... Sad state of affairs. I like the gameplay, but the characters and story put me to sleep. The only good character so far is Verthandi to me.
In any case, they really could have worked on the designs of the characters, not in a coomer way, but in a "this character is inspired by this take of the mythology", because as is, I can barely tell what any character is supposed to be aside from "anime girl with mythological name"

I'll be honest, I didn't know. I just liked the characters and music. I didn't even care that much for Alpha since I dropped the game before she came out.
For me it was that sudden realization that it was just mashing buttons and no strategy aside from support skills.

People won't spoil anything but currently we're lacking some named antagonist for throughout the series until 1.6. I hope that's right at least.
The story of the game is so bland I cannot really care for any of the characters in it. I've read people mention Odin and I hope it is a female with an eyepatch.

Nope, her extremely clunky movements make it very hard to use her to fight bosses without other characters to draw aggro from her, and she does virtually no damage outside of her turret mode. Her gameplay is dry as frick because of that.

I'm so used to PGR locking you out of a character after one run through the RD equivalent that I never realized AG completely ignores that and lets you use the same squad for 5 runs through the same boss and i've been building up 4 auxiliary squads and gimping my weekly clears for a month now for no fricking reason

Like every other game, starts slow since you're new and no damage, but it's fast once you've settled. If you don't have extra 11 minutes to play in a day just don't bother.
If you just do HZ X then it takes no longer than 5-6 minutes. MD takes about 15 minutes for all rewards, and the new Recurring Nightmare takes about 5-8 minutes per boss including setup.

It's much easier to mix match stuff compare to before since the scores scale higher now, so you don't have to pick every bloody buff for the bosses to get the desirable scores for max rewards, you also get more buff from using characters with advantage elements.
Uh bro before the update you just had to pick max difficulty without any buff/debuff on all bosses to get max rewards and it was piss easy.
Now I feel like it's better to pick difficulty 3 and add one shit debuff to reach around 11k/battle. They get a lot of HP in difficulty 4.
They literally get the same buff at difficulty 4 as before, 225% HP and 40% atk. It feels longer because they add even more HP buff in the selections and a few trash waves for you to kill before the bosses appear.
Before the update the fastest in my experience was lowest level with 3 buffs, took 1 min per boss,
Now it's about the same except the add ones take 2-3min and the boss ones ~1.5. 10750x4 for full rewards.

For Osiris' optimal sigil build what do they mean by "after functor powerup"? Is she getting a buff later down the road? Does that mean I should just run 3 wind and 3 cups?

Keep her purple bar hovers between 30 and 70 to build stack, hold attack button when she has 4 stacks. You can try whatever fancy rotations you have in mind when doing so.
The meta strat would be to save until months later when the chink modifiers drop, right? I already have Hera, Hel, and now Hades, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to go for hades dupe + functor, right?

They don't exactly improve her that much so it's up to you if you really want them. Keep in my you can get spook by Hades later and you can just roll the functor whenever you want.
If you have trouble clearing hardest Hazard and Dream, Hades without a doubt.
If you think your boner for Athena alone could carry you till you could get Hades from reruns or go all the way to the Chink hags later, then go for it.
S Hades on AI outdamaged my SS Asura in Hazard Zone and that was with a 50% fire damage bonus. Jesus Christ. Granted it was pretty close but still, what the frick.

for the highest tier recurring nightmare you need ~18k combat power and a cohesive comp, and not just 3 mods cobbled together
line up the element with the boss' weakness and you should be good to go
the real filter is hazard zone
you only need 10750 per boss for max rewards, pick difficulty 1 and 3-4 buffs and as long as you have one decent dps per team you are gold even if you don't have the right element.

The red codes only has every bonus on certain range, 20-80,30-70 and the last one is 40-60. You want to keep it on 40-60 but 30-70 is fine while you learning to use her.

This game originally wasn't going to have male characters, they teased the game as a bishoujo(think Azur Lane/Blue Archive) but then added in male characters mid-late into development which of course pissed the Chinks off to the point that the devs had to confirm on stream and on taptap(not sure about this) that the male characters will not be used in shipshit/ntr(chinks were calling it that not me).
Would be nice if the devs decided to just pretend the male characters don't exist (aside from the player, of course) or even retcon them instead of making more male characters. Seriously, just let PGR and Genshin have the fujos, you don't even have the marketing budget to compete with the former

Hey, at least in Genshin Impact, you have a new map and a new world tree that will give you more pull. Here it's only event that will give more or less 10 pulls for the whole duration of the patch.
Exploration rewards are always calculated into the total earning per patch by israelitehoyo. There's usually less reward from event when there's new map. Heck, remember the apologems from delayed update? The earning from following patches are way lower than usual to compensate for that apologems. The patch where they added 1 aqc fate per archon quest clear? We got lower gems income from event too so the total roll still around the average per patch.

Most gachas that has both males and females almost never ship the two together. There's very, very few exceptions but most of them interacts with the same gender or the player. Genshin is the best example for this. All the girls are really chummy with each other but never with the men, and vice versa.
I quit genshin shortly. But I'm pretty sure there's some shipteasing line on character itself. They didn't show it on event/main story, but it was pretty enough. Such as zhongli peeking e-girl ningguang while selling her wares. And I pretty sure heard some people buttblasted since scara or something changed because of nahida. You can't say genshin are the best on never ship department while many of the evidence said otherwise in the eyes of shipper.

I've never actually played Genshin, but I was under the assumption that Genshin was about 1 soft pity per patch, which is 6 weeks, which is ~45 days

Honestly it's mostly JP games with the shitty token exchange system that won't carry over since those tokens will get turned into worthless crap when the banner pick up is over.

Different business model. Genshin releases characters very sparely but puts huge pressure on people to roll for them since they won't get a rerun for another 6 months.
JP games tend give you more rolls but also love to rapid firing characters in quick succession to bait people. They also spam seasonal limited like mad.
It's really just matter of adjusting to which kind of israelites you are dealing with.

Genshin is the most generous gacha of all, half the banners are males that you can skip and then maybe 50% of the girls you will like enough to pull for.
Quit playing that shit with 120k primos sitting around right after pulling nahida and they haven't added a new 5* since that I would pull for. If I kept playing I'd be sitting there with over 180k unless I started going for cons/weapons which I don't need since 36* is (or at least was) easy. Pretty sure when I go back in 4 years when the first story arc finishes I will have enough to pull for every cute girl I missed out on. Kind of nice but also kind of sad.

For me, I kind off burn out with all the random sigil farm, not even the highest difficulty guarantee a 5* drop of a sigil. The bonus is all random, the respect is also random, and the skill is random.
The gatcha is bad at least for me. Hard pity on all 3 banners and knowing there are male characters that will be released on the future banner that going to dilute the banner even more is disheartening.
The dupe system is horrible. The worst that I have ever seen. Multiple copies of a character just to get a rank up and you cannot farm the shard anywhere.
Same, I wouldn't mind the game having nothing innovative if at least the characters had some depth to them and there was no males.
Already cleared story and pg10, I'll give the event a chance but unless the events are much better than the rest of the game I'll probably drop it after the pass expires.

PGR ruined other gachas for me because of its 100% guarantee on upcoming S-ranks. It's just slow like 2 months every S rank but you can guarantee it if you do your dailies and weeklies.
What I don't like in AG is their humanoid boss fights, fighting Ethan and his girl and another dude feels like a b***h.
Extremity Dodge doesn't feel "snappy" like in PGR and I feel the cooldown is too long, maybe it's on purpose since the 2 AIs can trigger it as well.
Despite those I still enjoy the game, could still be in honeymoon phase but we'll see a few patches in.

Not to mention it's had years to reach this point, where the characters are somewhat fleshed out simply by nature of volume. And despite that most of the characters are still one-note jokes like MUH LUCIA Karenina.
Even PGR diehards admit the story doesn't get palatable until 9 chapters in or something, then Luna fricking vanishes immediately after getting some characterization. And to this day the most popular character is Selena.

I'm so used to PGR locking you out of a character after one run through the RD equivalent that I never realized AG completely ignores that and lets you use the same squad for 5 runs through the same boss and i've been building up 4 auxiliary squads and gimping my weekly clears for a month now for no fricking reason
You do need to build 4 teams though
Once you'll move to big boy tiers you'll also only need 1 clear for 1 boss, for a total of 3 bosses to get full rewards

Dailies take like 5 minutes at worst.
Weeklies are longer but they can stay withing on hour/week
If you just do HZ X then it takes no longer than 5-6 minutes. MD takes about 15 minutes for all rewards, and the new Recurring Nightmare takes about 5-8 minutes per boss including setup.

Easier? I feel like the bosses have more health.
It's much easier to mix match stuff compare to before since the scores scale higher now, so you don't have to pick every bloody buff for the bosses to get the desirable scores for max rewards, you also get more buff from using characters with advantage elements.
Uh bro before the update you just had to pick max difficulty without any buff/debuff on all bosses to get max rewards and it was piss easy.
Now I feel like it's better to pick difficulty 3 and add one shit debuff to reach around 11k/battle. They get a lot of HP in difficulty 4.
They literally get the same buff at difficulty 4 as before, 225% HP and 40% atk. It feels longer because they add even more HP buff in the selections and a few trash waves for you to kill before the bosses appear.
Before the update the fastest in my experience was lowest level with 3 buffs, took 1 min per boss,
Now it's about the same except the add ones take 2-3min and the boss ones ~1.5. 10750x4 for full rewards.

If you have trouble clearing hardest Hazard and Dream, Hades without a doubt.
If you think your boner for Athena alone could carry you till you could get Hades from reruns or go all the way to the Chink hags later, then go for it.
In the content right now all Hades does is help you in Hazard Zone

for the highest tier recurring nightmare you need ~18k combat power and a cohesive comp, and not just 3 mods cobbled together
line up the element with the boss' weakness and you should be good to go
the real filter is hazard zone
you only need 10750 per boss for max rewards, pick difficulty 1 and 3-4 buffs and as long as you have one decent dps per team you are gold even if you don't have the right element.

FYI none of characters are fun to play. simplicity brain dead and tip tier. Pull if you enjoy Resident sleeper gameplay.

The red codes only has every bonus on certain range, 20-80,30-70 and the last one is 40-60. You want to keep it on 40-60 but 30-70 is fine while you learning to use her.

I have found doing the skill lock bullshit tends to give me much worse results for its cost than just spamming the normal enhance until it shits out 2 good skills.
It's not really worth it to lock unless you really want those 8/8/8 enhancement.
leviathan is the best healer in the game plus she acutally does good area damage

Do story to raise your admin level to unlock more stuff, Hades signature functor isn't top priority and you can just roll it whenever you want to no reason to rush it. Save rolls for Hera rerun later.

Oneiroi? You can unlock her from the event shop so she isn't exactly a must roll target unless you want to get her to SSS or Omega quickly.

3, you can easily max your dream score with just 3 bosses.
from reading chink info, her signature functor makes the rhythm game part easier, and she actually isn't all that bad after you get used to it, but does less damage than hel/tsukuyomi before SS
so basically you need 2 dupes for her to be "good", and her functor if you want an easier time playing her
