After a 125 hours I finally made it, I have some questions though.
My pawns keep mentioned that we need to evacuate everyone before the clouds come in but I've noticed that the brine clouds haven't moved over my 30 minutes exploring the world. Does this only happen when you rest?
For the evacuations, should I do them before going to the red light beacons or it doesn't matter?

I think the clouds stop progressing if you destroy all the beacons, but you might as well evacuate them anyway to complete the quest.

I haven't noticed the brine cloud moving at all so I'm assuming it will once I rest. I'll just evacuate everyone before I start going to the beacons.
I'm really liking the post game here over the first game, I was never a big fan of the Everfall.
Do you want to post your pawn so that I can use it?

If were you I'd do all the beacons before resting the first time, you lose more of the map every time you do. I did all the evacuations and then rested, so I'm not sure how much content I lost, but there's and game gear you can only get from unmoored bosses/chests.

You can hire my pawn if you want (level 60 now), but I spent more time taking screenshots of her than making her useful.

          >you lose more of the map every time you do
Oh ok, I guess I will just explore the entire map again lol.
          >You can hire my pawn if you want (level 60 now)
Damn I'm level 90 and I just got the the unmoored world. I will hire your pawn so you can get some RC and hopefully some pawn badges.

The enemies are a lot more fun in the unmoored world. I kept wondering why the game had so few skelletons and litches, but I guess that's why. Wouldn't mind a mod the bring them into the base game though.

I found a bunch of skeletons during the night time in the normal game, but I really enjoy fighting those fell lords (the guys with the great sword and shield) as well as the Dullahan. I noticed the thunder saurians are way more common now which I like.

Can you even find thunder saurians before the postgame?

yes they're in 1 cave near the elven forest. It's the only way of acquiring boltscale before the post game or in NG+.

There's no reason not to just boss rush the beacons ASAP
However, I advise you save Talos for last.

What does Talos even do if you kill the bosses first?

well, afaik, Talos always has one, at least for me. In my 2nd playthrough, I stopped him way earlier and He killed both of the volcano island bosses

So if you kill all the bosses first it'll generate a new boss for him to fight?

            Anonymous

That's how it appears to be. I cleared all the beacons and did the evacuation and doing that Talos event triggered the "final" beacon.

I did all the beacons in like 2 hours by speedrunning the damn thing, i was scared the game would end too fast,s omeone told me it was like 50 minutes of endgame, all bullshit.
So im assuming it only advances when you rest.

What about when the final beacon appears in Seafloor Shrine?
If you dont go into it right away, you get a voiceline but the watcher but i dont know if you have a time-limit there. Maybe it's not safe to rest at that point but I didnt try it.

You do HAVE to rest once in order for Seafloor Shrine to become populated. I hadn't Talos yet but cleared all the visible beacons so it seems to be safe to spend a bit of extra time in that situation.

    >it is 15 days
but if you rest you consume one day
if you don't every 30min is a day so 7.5 hrs

or was it 5 days so around 2.5 hrs?

Not true for the unmoored world, time only advances when you rest. You can play for 100 hours without a single day passing as long you don't rest (camp, inn, whatsoever).

Can you evacuate the checkpoint rest town? I already did the vernworth and the bak battahl but everyone is still in the check point town, also the cat queen mentioned something about lord phaesus but I can't find him in the research lab.

Once you evacuate everyone else, the remaining towns just relocate on their own.

Checkpoint town is a part of Vernworth evacuation-wise
