tbh it's not as fun as it may seem, a lot of people are just like you. Some are even worse(didn't finish college. Have shitty work. Shorter. Uglier. You said "they calm down", like don't do drug(you didn't miss out), but a lot of people, friendgroup still get together, and party. I think you overvalue it, bc you didn't have it.

no for a lot of people it's shit wall to wall, most people look back on it with just the appreciation that they didn't have to work in high school and had no responsibilities but then again some kids in high school didn't have that they were super poor and had to take care of younger siblings while working part time and being big homework nerds most people in high school barely put in the effort to get a passing grade
and college is just sort of high school 2.0 again some people might just be incredibly awkward or again be working 40 hours a week while trying to get nothing but A+s it's not all good for everyone.
