UI looks horrible.
well it has population so it's already better than eu4
Good for /vst/, now they get to simp them on patron, shill and hype another game that is in development and when the release get indefinitely postponed they will ask how could this happen
Wasnt AoH3 total shovelware? I fail to see how this will be different
Anon, your work is certainly impressive.
I'm just kinda disgusted fact you are essentially trying to remake EU4, to be point where you literally stole EU4 variants of flags.
There is nothing wrong with taking inspiration, but this literally seems to be the game equivalent of mockbuster, where 90% of your customers are poor gays who can't afford to spend 200€ on EU4 and all its DLC.
This I would probably focus on something that Paradox doesn't really cover, in order to differentiate yourself from them and find an uncatered to niche. For example, a period from 1721 to 1821 doesn't get any love in Paradox games (EU4 technically covers it, but you know, not really).
Dunno, I'd argue EU4 army and fort system fits 18th century, and the century alone.
was the previous game better than eu4?
eu4 but somehow worse
Is not like is particularly hard to do it
Genuinely hyped. AoH2 already had a superior customization map system than anything Paradox has released.
Isn't this the developer who got massively salty because a youtuber critiques his game?
So he's like Spudgun?
>implying spudgun developed something
More interestingly
>released game on Steam as "Age of Civilization II"
>got taken off Steam, presumably Paradox or Firexis sued
>come back "Age of History II"
But that was not his fault. How pathetic Paradox/Firexis had to be to feel threatened by a mobile-tier game.
I forgot if it was this or Evil Bank Simulator, but one of them actually stole EU4 assets (which is common for mobile games).
E.g. PDX's flag of Venice is a special variation because the historic flag was on red background, and Paradox made it blue
And one of those, didn't even recreate it, but just copied the file.
>And one of those, didn't even recreate it, but just copied the file.
Hope he gets sued into oblivion
they are not threatened by some 3rd rate dev, they are threatened by the precedent
they need to actively defend their hold of the "civilization" name because if they don't then someone could try to wrestle it away from them
of course these laws are cancershit and nobody should have a monopoly over a word of the dictionary, but boomers have done far worse
I hope that they'll actually limit the game to PC now instead of making everything simplified as frick for the mobile phone morons.
The previous game literally was mobile game that got ported
I bought the 2 game almost first day and the dev abandoned it in a week. Im not buying polish scamware again
why? how does the combat work?
It's literally a game of subtraction. Like you move a number that says 10000 into a province that has a number that says 3000 and then you gain the province but now your number says 7000. It's pretty brainless.
Wait really? So, you essentially buy provinces?
That sounds worse than Risk's combat.
I assume that 3000 was the enemy army? Does that mean provinces that has no armies are free to conquer?
>Does that mean provinces that has no armies are free to conquer?
yep, in one chinese scenario i just steamrolled across vast empty provinces
I... That's the most map paintery thing since Territorial.io.
Well, I'm sure it makes up for it with rich and complex revolt and administration system to stop blobbing.
huh? I've seen a video recently it was similar to eu4's combat
thats a different game that looks similar
i dont like the water. too dark
I still don't know why glorified risk timekiller turned into this. First game was ok for what it is, this is just weird as frick
