30k and 40k have been coexisting for years now. I see no reason why that won't be the case with classic Fantasy and AoS.
Because that's the reverse situation. 40k is the original, 30k is a less successful spin-off.
In this case Fantasy is the original, and AoS is the shitty unliked spin-off, which only survives at all because they killed off Fantasy so it had no competition.
Irony is that AoS was so good that they can let themselves afford to take a blow to their profits by releasing WHF, since they needed something to replace HH when hype dies down.

I believe that the destruction of WHFB has little to do with the success of the setting (Total war will prove this later).
