Yes, you figured everything before the game was even out, we heard you the first 20 times.
Were you also the one claiming Kizuna says Mizuki looks exactly like her Big Sis?
Not that anon, but you really should've realised time-travelling bodies was at least off the cards since the game presents it as a possibility very early on and it's pretty easily dismissed in-game.

There's a machine that can swap people's bodies and can induce an effect of near infinite time dilation but somehow time travel is out of the realm of possibility?
I agree that it doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility given the tech level in the games (and yes, it is hack writing to dismiss it without acknowledging this), but my argument is from a meta perspective. The game is unlikely to just directly hand you the answer to the murders in such a fashion.

You didn't address the concept of a double-bluff though. Considering the lengths Uchi went to in order to lie to the player, it's not at all inconceivable that he would bring up the solution early on and hope you discarded it due to the meta. Hell, Naix turned out to be real after all the shit with Iris in the first game.

The real Naix is nothing like the Naix Iris read about/hallucinated though. They just share a name.

Considering the first game treated it as not real, and then the second game basically acknowledges it as a "valid" "religion" to a point where they have a skyscraper building and the funds to construct Illuminati tier secret cathedrals, I find it absolutely unbelievable that the first game wouldn't have been able to know about and/or find it.
Either way, Iris was right about the Naix secret organization. There is definitely a bluff strategy to have a character say up front the answer to the game and have the player write it off as crazy, especially when they say crazy shit that turns out to be accurate.

or how Iris brings up alternate timelines, and how Date thinks that's what's going on in the first game, and how we as the player (frayer) know that's what's going on as an in-game mechanic, then it's treated as a red herring by the characters in-game and explained as something else

It's crazy how AI1 proved Iris was infact right and wasn't just talking out of her ass
What the frick am i missing? I finished Ryuki's route, i think. Try to put "tearer boat" as a name, despite how stupid it sounds, in the first psync but it doesnt work? But i have nowhere else to go or explore now?
I unironically forgot about Dahlia because i was tearing in Shoma's route. My bad, it got me like Ota route did before.
Its like these sad ones were directed at me.
AI2 heavily, heavily relies on coincidences and outright lying about what's happening. It's ZTD level of "there was another person always off-camera, no one just thought to mention them". Where AI had one fantastical element central to the plot (psyncing/psync machine), AI2 constantly comes up with more and more bullshit to cover up the ever more elaborate situations.
If AI was Uchikoshi's best work, then this one is easily his worst. It's a disaster, both as a mystery and as a piece of fiction in general.
There’s plenty of misdirection in his games, some that are more forced than others, but I don’t think he’s ever explicitly lied to the player to make a twist happen.
His writing always relies on those, in VLR, I was fricking mad when Sigma was revealed to be an old man, you are telling me he didn't look in the mirror or at a reflective surface even once? Or that he didn't touch his face to feel the cybernetic implant? Or that nobody even mentioned it???
999 was his best game.
>Bibi has a different haircut, but only in the epilogue not when you play as her >everyone calls Bibi Quartz, but only in the epilogue not when you play as her >Bibi conveniently has the same bike with the same stickers in the same places as Mizuki 6 years in the future >Aiba conveniently loses her memories when you stop playing as Bibi
I'm still so mad about this shit twist.
Oh, forgot about this detail too. >the REAL reason Bibi shoots Mizuki at the start of the game is so that the player is led to believe she's an antagonist for a good chunk of the game, until almost the end of Ryuki's route
I got extremely drunk while my buddy was streaming this for me and have forgotten everything between Kizuna going missing and finishing the "I know" path of Ryuki's Somnium, can someone help me? He's gonna play it again tonight and I need to know what I'm forgetting. All I recall is a big fight scene with everyone there and Date sacrificing himself somehow...
>wearing one eyeball causes several mental issues
No it doesn't. It's just one protagonist had a psychopath brain and the other had schizo disease. Mizooks were fine
>severe mental issues
I understand Ryuki (though he was a schizo before he even met Tama iirc), but what was Date's and Mizuki's, then?
Suddenly screaming out something like a terminal stage tourette, even in a serious situation, isnt a mental issue?
All eyeball holders have this condition.
>AI3 will have Date, Mizuki and Ryuki as protagonists. >But half the time you will be playing in an alternate timeline as Saito (who somehow became an ABIS agent don't question it), Bibi and Ryuki's brother instead.
>go back to check how I missed the timeline twist >Ryuki literally says he's thinking about the events of 6 years ago and then he's looking at Chikara's other half during wink psync
Yeah I'm thinking this trick is unethical >b-but his brother died 6 years ago!
He only exists to let Ryuki talk about 6 years ago with no context. Poor motherfricker.
Hahaha, oh wow. Frick Uchikoshi, I'm giving this game negative reviews/scores on both Steam and VNDB. Was on the fence about it, but Jesus frick, this is low.
>go back to check how I missed the timeline twist >Ryuki literally says he's thinking about the events of 6 years ago and then he's looking at Chikara's other half during wink psync
Yeah I'm thinking this trick is unethical >b-but his brother died 6 years ago!
He only exists to let Ryuki talk about 6 years ago with no context. Poor motherfricker.
But the "6 years ago..." part IS referring to when Ryuki found the body in the past. How is it a trick?
They literally spelled it out in the end for brainlets like you. Chikara, Jin, and Komeiji's killings were in the past. Uru and Tokiko's killings were in the present
You know that Ryuki experiences the timeline as the player does, right? From his perspective, he thinks he's in the present time when he's talking to Bibi about Chikara's body.
Next is Ryuki after Ferris wheel schizo episode. >investigates the crime scene 6 years late >asks Lien if he knows Amame, even though it's been 6 years >when Lien says Mame, Iris and Kizuna were talking about something he assumes they were talking about Komeji's body, even though it's been 6 years
I know, I know >b-but Ryuki IS a schizo!
Still unethical
The English translation is dog shit. "What happened six years ago... How could this happen" makes it sounds like the two lines are connected, in Japanese it's >What's wrong? >I was just thinking of six years ago
>But anyway yeah this is Horadari's body
And what is up with the American obsession with using first names, anyway?
I mean, I can understand why he'd think of it, his brother had half his body crushed so seeing half a body would bring up memories of that, but it's VERY blatant misdirection.
NI just released, dude. It'll probably take some time before Tama get anything, especially if you consider that the majority of the fanbase doesn't seem to be the type to be coomers. Also, a good chunk of the Ota content on pixiv looks like it was either commissioned or requested by a few people.
You know that Ryuki experiences the timeline as the player does, right? From his perspective, he thinks he's in the present time when he's talking to Bibi about Chikara's body.
What do you think the point of the empty ferris wheel scene was? It's very clearly meant to show that Ryuki, much like the player, is experiencing everything in distorted order. I swear, it's people like you that say >well what was the point of the timeline twist? it didn't even affect the story
Except that it directly affected one of the protagonists' perception of reality, and also tied into the villain's ultimate scheme. Speedreaders, man.

>Ryuki experiences the timeline as the player does,
He clearly doesn't. In the present he sometimes bugs out and gets very confused (hence the ferris wheel, he mixed up past memories and present), but at no point in the past he uses information from the present. And in the present he mostly used information from the present, though cleverly hidden - that is the trick. If your statement was true he wouldn't remember how he betrayed Date to save Tama.
Anonymous
How exactly would he use present day information in the past if he isn't fully aware that his perception of time is being distorted? Oh wait, but he does eventually take advantage of the distortion... to deliver the nil number to Tokiko, which is after he and the player finally realize what's going on.

Ryuki shows signs of being infected by PERGE as early as the quiz show murder scene 6 years ago. That whole scene ends with him PERGING out. It's 100% due to PERGE, not just his mental issues, because the moonrunes that appear during those scenes have been translated. They directly relate to Naix teachings.
Anonymous
but he wasn't infected with PERGE until the present, way after that

Characters in-game speculate that Ryuki might've been infected when he finds Tokiko's half at Naix and then descends into the Cathedral to see the mysterious box. It is merely speculation on their part though, and there's no denying that we see Ryuki have PERGE episodes 6 years ago. Multiple times even. I think it's foolish to suggest it's just his schizo issues when the moonrunes specifically related to Naix and his hallucinations just happen to relate to simulated world theory.

Maybe Ryuki's already poor mental health was made worse by however the Frayer connects themselves to him/Mizuki/Bibi. Since his first episode we see is the dream at the studio where the host gets meta and talks to [You], and shortly afterward he has the QR Video meltdown. Bibi and Mizuki weren't effects cause they're mostly mentally healthy.
Anonymous
The videos had different effect on Ryuki because of the subliminal effect, as explained by Tama in Mama's place. He was traumatized by his brother's death, so those videos made something click in him
2 years ago
Anonymous
I actually think the reason Ryuki is driven extra mad by the Frayer's piloting is because his consciousness is experiencing the timelines in the same manner. Bibi and Mizuki don't experience this time-displaced insanity because we're not SHIFTing from a past Mizuki to a present day Mizuki, we're jumping between two different people - her and Bibi.

And that's just one instance where Ryuki and the Frayer are simultaneously tricked. He's also tricked when he thinks it's present day when he and Bibi find Chikara's body at the park. He says "how can this be?" because he thinks it's 6 years later and the half-body couldn't possibly be fresh. Fools would rather ignore all of these things and instead say Ryuki's line there was merely meant to "trick the player."

He doesn't think it's present day. He's thinking back to six years ago from six years ago, when his twin brother was crushed in half by a truck. He's reminded of that incident due to the similar-ish end result of half the body being mostly okay.
Anonymous
But when you wink psync with Ryuki during that scene, you can see that he's thinking on the time he discovered the first half of the body in the school. He goes from thinking on that to saying the dialogue lines about 6 years ago, "how can this be?" etc. Pretty clear he's just as lost by the timeline jump as the Frayer is.

He could be thinking of discovering the half a couple hours ago because that similarly reminded him of his brother dying six years ago.

No, Occam's Razor dictates that Ryuki is experiencing time the same way the player does, because there are multiple episodes where Ryuki practically echos the player's confusion over the (yet unknown) time shifts. In what way? Ignoring the multiple small hints strewn throughout the story to allow perceptive players to maybe catch on, can I just point out that Ryuki's first two scenes in the game make it glaringly obvious that he's not an entirely reliable narrator? You're complaining that the dude that's been waving a giant red flag since minute 1 of the game "unethically tricked" the player by having a narrative twist associated with him? That alone makes your argument ridiculous.

I think that 6 years ago Ryuki perceives things in the normal order, it's just present Ryuki who's experiencing the first 4 days the same way the player does.
That will never happen because muh nippon tradition of boke and tsukkomi. Both Tama and Date are the boke part. Despite being translated, they are still mainly japanese games.
What was even the point of the timeline shift trick other than to prank the player? It doesn't actually affect the storyline at all and has no reason to exist unlike the body swap twist.
Too hard, sorry man. Didn't know you could do that though
I wonder if anybody managed to get rid of the jaggies, I maxed out anisotropic filtering and all AA options in NVIDIA settings but it doesn't seem to do shit. Wish they would just include DLSS but I guess it's too hard for nips
AI1 has anti-aliasing, AI2 doesn't support it. It's dumb, I know.
You can try downsampling from 4K (or 5K in your case since you're on 1440p) for a much smoother image. Enable DSR in NVIDIA Control Panel, might need to set your desktop to 5K too, or else the game might not pick it up.
Worth grinding out 100% achievements? I've done the bonus somnium & the doki doki literature club ending. Anything else cool that I might not want to miss? What is it about Hanako? Or the ARG?
If that's the case I fully expect Ota to be either the protagonist or at least extremely involved in the story and constantly tagging along with the protag, like Iris or Mizuki in the first game.
She calls him a pedo for doing things like washing his clothes with hers not ogling flat chests. Considering his 3 current/past love interests are Boss, Reika, and Hitomi Date likes 'em mature.
>Some gay continues to shit himself impotently about how you couldn't possibly reasonably figure out certain twists across multiple threads
Don't get me wrong, the twist relies on some heavy contrivances, but this instinct to go to extremes and claim it's so shit that it's an asspull you can't figure out beforehand (and that anyone who says they did is lying) is moronic.
but anon you didn't have every single tool possible to solve the mystery in the first hour of the game that means it's shit(im very intelligent and would solve it immediately if it was fair btw)
Are people serious when they think Iris will be the real mastermind in AI3?
Uchi doesn't have the balls to pull off something like that, pissing off her fans.
>pre-called Naix, alternate timelines, and immortality in the first game >got kidnapped for the ARG for fraying-related reasons as described here
ARG gives you pic related. >called Amame at the exact right time to prevent her from seeing her dad, would ultimately would have prevented his death >her level in the latest game is about using everyone she knows as pawns in a game (also, the Kusemon Go symbols are the Eye of Wadjet)
only question is what her ultimate plan might be. As it stands right now, to fray you need to be playable, so watch out if A-Set U-Bet is an MC next game
I'm missing a lot of Trivia entries and I can't seem to get them. What's up with that?
For example trivia entries 2, 4, 6 and 7, could someone check one of these at least for me
My biggest pet peeve was talking talking to a character only for the game to go “you licked the end scene ending option frick you don’t read anything else”
I wanted to keep reading… I feel like this happened less often in the first game but it’s been a while since I played that.
>Still mad that wink psyncs are 1 time per scene
I'm pretty sure there's only one scene where you can only use wink psync once: the first time you meet Tokiko. I remember wink psyncing everyone afterwards
It's once per scene, not per day. If there are 3 people with wink psync available standing around in one location, you can only do 1 out of 3, and then reload for the other 2.
I remember wink pysncing into multiple people in a single scene.
I think the “one and done” wink psync only happens if you see mizuki/ryuki do the wink psyncing pose.
No seriously, is this some inside joke, or self insert, that only Uchi understand? Making all young looking titty monsters into single past marriage prime cakes?
I understand that, but why do they have to be over 40? Receptionist, boss, the nurse... see the pattern? Only titty monsters are old. Flatties are young, what gives?
the ONLY time Ryuki schizo'd out and mixed timelines was with the Shoma incident. It's why there was a conspicious transition to the next day in between, because he followed him in the past, then it transitioned to the next day, which in-game is in the present
Ryuki from the present is reliving the past, there was no conciousness confusion, we just don't see what he does once he finds Shoma because we follow Bibi during Valentines Day in the past
I'd say the Ferris wheel thing is the closest it gets, but it's established that Ryuki is mentally unstable so I'd say it gets a pass. Otherwise it just obfuscates and misdirects.
I think the only part that's really lying is that in the files there are separate profile for 6 years ago/present day. 18 y/o Mizuki has a profile in present day, but in 6 years ago it's 12 y/o Mizuki and there's not a profile for Bibi who you're playing as. Obviously they couldn't just spoil it but that's still basically the game's player only info lying.
Tama's reaction to him during the ferris wheel part made it obvious she was just humoring his delusions. She kept calling it bull and tried to get him to leave
yeah, when Shoma ran away she was all like "GET HIM, RUN AFTER HIM RYUKI HURRY" yet when they found him she was like "Let's just go it's valentines day"
This is also a part of the trick. She explains like two times that people shouldn't call him out when he goes schizo, so in the ferris wheel scene she goes along when he says that Shoma is in the second car. She did not "call it bull".
Kizuna having a sister named Mizuki and then meeting another girl that looks sounds and acts exactly like her and is also names Mizuki and brushing it off as just "oh lol you guys are so similar is all" is the dumbest fricking shit.
This and the Bibi -> Mizuki transition under Horadori were the big moments that made it hard to realize the timeline shuffle cause it was so inconceivable to think they were 6 years apart.
Any plot elements you think they could have used in a timeline twist scenario that they didn't? Because Uchikoshi is obviously never going to be able to do a timeline twist again, at least not for another two franchises and twenty years.
>specific option prevents you from seeing everything else
Frick you Uchi, i hate this so fricking much. I want to see All dialogue. And not "choose one question and the story moves on". At least fricking highlight what argument moves the story and which doesnt.
This. Who the frick cares about lategays? I literally cant remember any other game that does this. It's a sequel, you are either on or you are not.
I Also Wish he had his own face.
In fairness to Uchikoshi Saito Date is vastly hotter and has a better voice than Falco Date. Feel like either he wasn't planning for a sequel in the first game or didn't think people would get so attached to his old look. So in AI2 we get the better version of Date at the expense of how idiotic "I had a silicone mask made of a serial killer who tried to kill everyone I love cause girls like it" is.
Basing your direct sequel in a timeline where what the player experienced in the 1st game didn't happen is also shit. In order for Date to keep the good body forever they'd need to retcon the head explosion climax which is a pretty big deal.
Why a mask? Wouldn't that get really uncomfortable even after a short time? Wouldn't people be able to tell it's a mask anyway? Why not plastic surgery instead?
>Why not plastic surgery instead?
getting the face of a murderer permanently is even dumber than doing it temporarily
and maybe just as another asspull explanation for how he managed to spent the 6 years timeskip
Because what you told her is a randomly generated number which is only told to anyone 6 years in the future and not even told to Ryuki. So when Ryuki knows the number the Frayer has successfully caused a pradox big enough to tear a hole in the simulation which Tokiko can ascend through and Ryuki can create a new timeline through where nothing bad happens cause Frayer tells him the future.
She literally explains it.
cause that information literally cannot come from anyone other than (You), which the simulation doesn't like. Seems like it's okay with shit like timeline info sharing between characters (Dahlia Boat didn't make it shit itself), but only the Mizukis knew about the Nil Number, so Ryuki telling her that was a no-no
But wouldn't that make Ryuki achieve it instead of Tokiko since she'dhave to otherwise do it herself? At least that's how I interpreted the info bit the hologram gave.
My take was that Ryuki can't possibly know for sure that the nil number he shares truly matches the one Tokiko internalized. Tokiko knows obviously, since she's the one that came up with the number. But as far as Ryuki knows, past-Tokiko could just be lying to him about the numbers matching.
When you have him remember, he remembers walking through the walls and her talking to (You) too. He gets the whole Moksha shebang, his 'reality' is a sham, everyone's hardships mean nothing, and he just used a cheat code to save them.
Ryuki doesn't remember what happens during the bit where you tear a whole in reality and walk through walls, he's just as confused about where Tokiko is as anyone else. He just gets the information about the case so he solves it before Komeji can die or anything else bad.

he's still in shock about people not being dead/in jail six years later, he's clearly didn't just get information about the case.

Ryuki in Diverge end doesn't seem to remember ANYTHING about the past 6 years, it's like he just jumped forward in time the same way the player does. That's part of why he feels so hollow despite creating a perfect happy ending.
Sex with Ryuki while he's having a mental breakdown! Continuing to use him after he's passed out!
No because the number comes from Tokiko in the future and returns to Tokiko in the past. She's the vessel for the information and also the closest character in the game to ascension already.
Ryuki didn't create the fray, the frayer did via Tokiko's orchestration. Tokiko throws him a bone for being a part of the plan by gifting him the memories that the frayer had

Seems like it's okay with shit like timeline info sharing between characters (Dahlia Boat didn't make it shit itself), but only the Mizukis knew about the Nil Number, so Ryuki telling her that was a no-no
So was Date having memories/knowledge of shit in the true timeline of the first game from the bad end timelines intentional foreshadowing for this game or thrown in there as a 'just in case' the game is successful enough to warrant a sequel?
Actually I remember thinking this at the time, but when the game is intentionally trying to autistically explain everything (muh nanobots) handwaving away things at the same times doesn't add up. I have the same issue with XC2 but that's not relevant
AI1 offers conflicting explanations for the memories thing. AIba gives a whole explanation about how memory is fractal but then Date remembers Iris going "Parallel worlds exist!" and isn't so sure.
AI2 pretty much confirms it's because of Frayer timeline shenanigans.
date did not have knowledge of any alternate timelines
the actual information was remembering events from years ago
the shit he remembered from the iris timeline was just a fuzzy recollection of reading a popsci magazine or something
Date remembers the Mizuki ending in the true end (talking about Mizuki crying over him in the Hospital when it never happened in this timeline), Iris says shit like she feels like she ate the fruit of immortality, and in the second game when you run into the Hazard Ryukis you can see scenes from Date's Sonium from the Mizuki ending, implying she also remembers it.
Don't do it.
Simulations are made to solve complex problems. Even if we are in a simulation, we have to trust that whatever work we're meant to do in here is vital to the reality out there.
I don't think Ryuki would even remember what goes on during his breakdowns, you could technically keep fricking him every night in that state using the Bats videos. [/spoilers]
I mean, wasn't that the thing in VLR, (You) were the one Shifting before Sigma and Phi were remembering shit and I guess in ZTD before they just dropped that particular plot point
they look nothing alike aside from the sharp eyes which is just a common feature >Phi's eyebrows aren't dyed
what a fricking hack I never noticed for these 6 years

In hindsight the Mizuki twist was apparent with her non reaction to Date's return. I always did find that odd plus her passing out from Ryuki's shock attack. Seemed a little strange for someone like her.
Obviously She was excepting that Ryuki will make a move on her. But Ryuki is hanpanman.

They along with Iris have the power to break through a tear in their world to see another. So perhaps they slipped into the tear at some point after that ARG game or something. However it makes me more curious on Iris too since her power is supposed to be massive.
Hidden Bats didn't take place in the timeline/universe of the main AI story it took place either in our world or whatever world Ota/Iris/Uchikoshi's twitters exist in. So we dunno.
Pretty sure they said it happened in another simulated world where AI2 events happened differently. In that world, Iris disappeared but in the Ai world we recognize, Iris did not disappear.
From what people have said it essentially says that uchikoshi has seen people that have made him go “this dude has a square head lol” and he wanted to make a square headed character but with cartoonishly exaggerated features because he knew people would do a double take.
So the answer? For shits and giggles nothing more.
>square head >suspicious camera-like hole near the top of his face >son is a robot-building prodigy >his routes are the earliest ones the player completes
I'm like 50% sure that Uchi was using him as a red herring, to make us think the twist might involve human-looking robots.
Frick yeah. I got one Mizuki Bibi lined up, maybe another Mizuki if this dude would reply and take my request.
IF I'm still horny I might consider Tokiko then.
It's meant to depict the false world, the true world, and the way they interconnect. The two circles are the two worlds, and the fingers crossing is how they link. It's similar to the Order of %'s sign, except that the % depicts the two worlds with a very clear line dividing them. This represents their goal of keeping the two worlds well-separated.
>Uchi liked a Ryuki fujo fanart on Twitter
Oh no it's over...
Iris is life. Iris is love and madness
Anyone freaked out when Chikara killed Aiba?
Nah never liked her much.
>Tokiko 40 years ago
Chikara is a huge downgrade from Ryusei.
>What's with the statue of liberty stuff?
To differentiate between the AI (simulation) world and real world, and maybe foreshadowing for Gen and Ryuki.
>why did Tokiko kill herself
It's part of her plot to get the frayer to notice
>why did Uru call himself Dahlia Boat in various ends
It's part of Tokiko's plot to get the frayer to fray the world. The name itself is an anagram of Ialdabaoth, the false god that created the world and binds souls to their material bodies.
>why did nobody mention an older Mizuki existing to her younger sister
Because it's stupid to assume that someone you see now is a clone or relative just because they resemble someone you think is unrelated to them that you saw six years ago.
>why does Date have Saito’s face and voice
Meta: To prevent spoilers for AI1.
In-game: See the explanation for face. As for the voice, Date (89) and Saito always had the same voice (actor) in Japanese, the shitty localization just gave them two different voice actors.

It's in the original Japanese text in the appendix (82), the shitty localization got lazy and just removed large amounts of details for no reason.
>Are Ryuki's parents alive?
No. In English the limo is all he has left of his parents. in Japanese he calls the limo a katami meaning "something received from a dead person" of them. They're dead.
>What's the contradictions regarding Mizuki people mention?
In AI1 in Japanese Shoko explicitly says she gave birth to Mizuki and in 2 they had to add a scene with Mizuki recalling this and commenting on it to cover how bad the contradiction is. English version mistranslated the line to begin with.

>murder mystery is unsolvable because it never existed in the first place
very cool twist, Uchikoshi, so clever, frick you
But there were 4 murders
sure, but the body halves weren't teleporting 6 years into the future
they were all discovered the next day, except for Jin's who has a contrived "ACKTYUALLY" excuse
>but the body halves weren't teleporting 6 years into the future
You should have realized that when no one mentioned the bodies time traveling
Yes, you figured everything before the game was even out, we heard you the first 20 times.
Were you also the one claiming Kizuna says Mizuki looks exactly like her Big Sis?
Not that anon, but you really should've realised time-travelling bodies was at least off the cards since the game presents it as a possibility very early on and it's pretty easily dismissed in-game.
The game also presents and discards the possibility of clones...
Except the clone was (You) all along, not the bodies, haha so clever.
I ain't dismissing shit after the first game's twist was literal body swap
I agree that it doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility given the tech level in the games (and yes, it is hack writing to dismiss it without acknowledging this), but my argument is from a meta perspective. The game is unlikely to just directly hand you the answer to the murders in such a fashion.
There's a machine that can swap people's bodies and can induce an effect of near infinite time dilation but somehow time travel is out of the realm of possibility?
>The real Naix is nothing like the Naix Iris read about/hallucinated though.
But they are though .
It was a double bluff. It's just that (You)'re the one going through time, not the bodies ; ^)
or how Iris brings up alternate timelines, and how Date thinks that's what's going on in the first game, and how we as the player (frayer) know that's what's going on as an in-game mechanic, then it's treated as a red herring by the characters in-game and explained as something else
It's crazy how AI1 proved Iris was infact right and wasn't just talking out of her ass
You can't see it without love, you stupid goat.
What the frick am i missing? I finished Ryuki's route, i think. Try to put "tearer boat" as a name, despite how stupid it sounds, in the first psync but it doesnt work? But i have nowhere else to go or explore now?
>I finished Ryuki's route
No you didn't
Then where do i go? The only branching is on Soma's route.
You learn part of the name at the end of each branch
You didn't finish the route or you didn't read the appendix
Dahlia Boat
I Heard the name dahlia before, but am i supposed to know that by now? I dont want to spoil myself.
it's in the appendix you drooling moron
frick off and die
Never read that shit. Date's game or this one.
Shoma tells you
Read the appendix moron
Shoma's END gives Dahlia (on the ferris wheel), Explosion END gives Boat (Tearer says it).
Pay fricking attention, are you just clicking through dialog or what.
they literally list the name in the fricking appendix so that morons don't forget
too bad morons don't read
Yeah, tons of threads asking about this + Chikara's PC password. I just don't get it.
Point out 1 lie
There’s plenty of misdirection in his games, some that are more forced than others, but I don’t think he’s ever explicitly lied to the player to make a twist happen.
stop copy pasting moron
Frick you, just SHUT UP. I liked the girls, it's a good game. At least it was more fun than the whole Zero Escape series.
His writing always relies on those, in VLR, I was fricking mad when Sigma was revealed to be an old man, you are telling me he didn't look in the mirror or at a reflective surface even once? Or that he didn't touch his face to feel the cybernetic implant? Or that nobody even mentioned it???
999 was his best game.

aiba
I am sorry, we are not talking about imagination breasts here.
Hitomi
Tokiko
Could theoretically someone wear 2 eyeballs if he lost his own?
I don't see why not
But from what we seen so far, wearing one eyeball causes several mental issues. Wearing 2 would probably be unbearable.
>wearing one eyeball causes several mental issues
No it doesn't. It's just one protagonist had a psychopath brain and the other had schizo disease. Mizooks were fine
Suddenly screaming out something like a terminal stage tourette, even in a serious situation, isnt a mental issue?
All eyeball holders have this condition.
That's just an anime thing, though.
>Suddenly screaming out something like a terminal stage tourette
huh?
>severe mental issues
I understand Ryuki (though he was a schizo before he even met Tama iirc), but what was Date's and Mizuki's, then?
I don't think Boss will approve the budget for this
Now that you mention it I wonder how much an AI-ball costs
yes
>Oh yeah Tearer held me hostage instead of killing me because ????
>And I just escaped despite losing my memories because ????
This game sucks
But Aiba and Tama are cute.
It's...difficult to boil down the reason to one word.
But at least there are no Shitters in this game, with there Shit ability.
Kizuna and Lien's bullshit is the worst part of the game.
Can't wait to play a third clone of Mizuki and Ryuki's brother in AI3.
>AI3 will have Date, Mizuki and Ryuki as protagonists.
>But half the time you will be playing in an alternate timeline as Saito (who somehow became an ABIS agent don't question it), Bibi and Ryuki's brother instead.
>go back to check how I missed the timeline twist
>Ryuki literally says he's thinking about the events of 6 years ago and then he's looking at Chikara's other half during wink psync
Yeah I'm thinking this trick is unethical
>b-but his brother died 6 years ago!
What's the problem here? I don't see it.
He's upset about Ryuki saying "Thinking about what happened six years ago..." because it was a trick
But the "6 years ago..." part IS referring to when Ryuki found the body in the past. How is it a trick?
Have you finished the game?
They literally spelled it out in the end for brainlets like you. Chikara, Jin, and Komeiji's killings were in the past. Uru and Tokiko's killings were in the present
You know that Ryuki experiences the timeline as the player does, right? From his perspective, he thinks he's in the present time when he's talking to Bibi about Chikara's body.
That's not true 100% of the time
No he doesn't
Next is Ryuki after Ferris wheel schizo episode.
>investigates the crime scene 6 years late
>asks Lien if he knows Amame, even though it's been 6 years
>when Lien says Mame, Iris and Kizuna were talking about something he assumes they were talking about Komeji's body, even though it's been 6 years
I know, I know
>b-but Ryuki IS a schizo!
Still unethical
The English translation is dog shit. "What happened six years ago... How could this happen" makes it sounds like the two lines are connected, in Japanese it's
>What's wrong?
>I was just thinking of six years ago
>But anyway yeah this is Horadari's body
And what is up with the American obsession with using first names, anyway?
I think the first name works better because it shows the disrespect Ryuki has for Chikara
What's with the Japanese's obsession of using last names?
I mean, I can understand why he'd think of it, his brother had half his body crushed so seeing half a body would bring up memories of that, but it's VERY blatant misdirection.
You realize every single Uchikoshi game replies on tricking the player right?
Half to Whole > Invincible Rainbow Arrow
Based list, but I'd switch Half to Whole and Invincible Rainbow Arrow
Agreed, but it's not a high bar.
>ota has more pr0n than frickin Tama
Just let that sink in.
NI just released, dude. It'll probably take some time before Tama get anything, especially if you consider that the majority of the fanbase doesn't seem to be the type to be coomers. Also, a good chunk of the Ota content on pixiv looks like it was either commissioned or requested by a few people.
Reminder that
>All of the questions are real choices Amame had to make
>She always chooses the right option
>Amame ate shit
I know you're having fun with your scat fetish but it's clearly just "was the glamor worth it" kind of question.
brainlet
ok Black person
see
What do you think the point of the empty ferris wheel scene was? It's very clearly meant to show that Ryuki, much like the player, is experiencing everything in distorted order. I swear, it's people like you that say
>well what was the point of the timeline twist? it didn't even affect the story
Except that it directly affected one of the protagonists' perception of reality, and also tied into the villain's ultimate scheme. Speedreaders, man.
No shit sherlock, you're the first person to figure that out, congratulations to you.
it's still a shit twist that has no purpose in the story, brainlet
So the original complaint that Ryuki said "6 years ago..." while thinking on Chikara's body was a trick, when it was actually Ryuki having a messed up perception of time, is wrong.
The English translation is dog shit.
What do you mean wrong? It's still a trick.
You know that Ryuki experiences the timeline as the player does, right? From his perspective, he thinks he's in the present time when he's talking to Bibi about Chikara's body.
How exactly would he use present day information in the past if he isn't fully aware that his perception of time is being distorted? Oh wait, but he does eventually take advantage of the distortion... to deliver the nil number to Tokiko, which is after he and the player finally realize what's going on.
Because he isn't aware, because it's the Frayer who learns that info not Ryuki, and the Frayer can even choose not to tell Ryuki about the future.
he doesn't
He does. That's the point of the ferris wheel scene.
Why do people think his messed up perception of time only affects him in the present?
did you not play the game at all?
at the scene in the hospital it's clearly explained that he spaces out sometimes and doesn't notice people around him
>it's clearly explained that he spaces out sometimes and doesn't notice people around him
...and how is this evidence that Ryuki doesn't perceive the timelines the same way we do?
Shoma ran into the ferris wheel -> Ryuki spaces out -> Shoma goes out of the ferris wheel and leaves -> Ryuki comes back to his senses -> doesn't see Shoma there -> Illusion that Shoma disappeared
Wrong. In the past, Ryuki waits for Shoma and takes him to the hospital. Shoma tells Bibi this when she visits him in the hospital
So why does he later ask, how he disappeared from the ferris wheel?
because he got confused and Shoma even said "I didn't get on the ferris wheel last night"
and to add onto that, Tama is obviously just humoring him so he doesn't break down
I don't get it, also here's something else I just got
Ok, now I get it
This is more proof that Ryuki's consciousness hitches a ride with us across the timelines.
It doesn't. There's one specific instance where he has an episode that lines up with what the player thinks happened (Shoma getting on the Ferris wheel and disappearing).
read the next screenshot please
Like the other reply said, he was infected by Perge at that point, he wasn't when chikara is found.
Ryuki shows signs of being infected by PERGE as early as the quiz show murder scene 6 years ago. That whole scene ends with him PERGING out. It's 100% due to PERGE, not just his mental issues, because the moonrunes that appear during those scenes have been translated. They directly relate to Naix teachings.
but he wasn't infected with PERGE until the present, way after that
Characters in-game speculate that Ryuki might've been infected when he finds Tokiko's half at Naix and then descends into the Cathedral to see the mysterious box.
But TC-PERGE is not finished in the past, it's mentioned in Tearer's diary
Also Tama says that it only made his normal symptoms worse or something like that
maybe his normal symptoms just kind of look like that when a Frayer is involved or something. Which has terrifying implications for the schizo types out there as far as they seem to be the only ones who are literally reaching the truth of the world but you know
Date thinks that ABIS may have been compromised and it's never followed up on, Ryuki may have been infected prior to his stint in the cathedral. It's probably Boss, b***h is always up to some sketchy shit
The videos had different effect on Ryuki because of the subliminal effect, as explained by Tama in Mama's place. He was traumatized by his brother's death, so those videos made something click in him
I actually think the reason Ryuki is driven extra mad by the Frayer's piloting is because his consciousness is experiencing the timelines in the same manner. Bibi and Mizuki don't experience this time-displaced insanity because we're not SHIFTing from a past Mizuki to a present day Mizuki, we're jumping between two different people - her and Bibi.
He doesn't fricking experience timelines in the Frayer's way. How many times do we have to tell that?
why was he expecting shoma to step off the ferris wheel then?
Because he had TC-Perge and was hallucinating
he was hallucinating experiencing the timeline the same way the frayer does? ok, got it.
moron
Not sure why you find it so hard to believe that his messed up perception of time can work both ways.
Not that anon but we aren't believing it because it's just blatantly not happening. You're just treating your headcanon as real.
>The frayer thought Shoma got on the ferris wheel 5 minutes ago
>Ryuki thought Shoma got on the ferris wheel 5 minutes ago
>However, Ryuki definitely does not experience time the same way the Frayer does
Yes, but their perception before those 5 minutes are different, so they do not experience time the same way
And that's just one instance where Ryuki and the Frayer are simultaneously tricked.
I added how Ryuki's perception of things so hopefully anons will better understand what is happening.
fixed it for you
He doesn't think it's present day. He's thinking back to six years ago from six years ago, when his twin brother was crushed in half by a truck. He's reminded of that incident due to the similar-ish end result of half the body being mostly okay.
Where does the theory that he's thinking on his brother's death even come from? Someone else posted the dialogue log of the scene here
He doesn't say anything about it. Seems far more likely that this is evidence that Ryuki is experiencing the timelines as the player does.
Occam's Razor, basically. He's thinking about the thing from six/twelve years ago, the traumatic incident that fricked him up, of his brother being crushed in half.
>Occam's Razor
No, Occam's Razor dictates that Ryuki is experiencing time the same way the player does, because there are multiple episodes where Ryuki practically echos the player's confusion over the (yet unknown) time shifts. I think it's a bit of a stretch to point to the scene at the park and say he's thinking about his dead brother, even though he never mentions him at the moment...
No, there is one incident where that happens.
>he just doesn't, okay?!?
Say it as many times as you want. Doesn't matter to me if you're ignoring the obvious.
Because he's a schizo
One scene of schizo doesn't mean he's folllowing the player around even when you control minuzki.
He's not following the player even when you control him, except maybe in the Diverge ending but that's a whole other can of worms.
Except Ryuki actually met with Shoma and brought him to the hospital.
Shoma getting on the ferris wheel was 6 years ago and Ryuki is confused where he is because he's reliving the past
You're missing a few details
Shoma gets on the ride -> Ryuki spaces out -> Ryuki's consciousness follows the Frayer across timelines to present day -> Ryuki and the Frayer are shocked at the "disappearance" because neither realizes they've shifted timelines yet
Meanwhile, 6 years ago Shoma just walks off the ride and shuffles awkwardly past a zoned out Ryuki.
you're a moron, see
Yeah I misremembered the hospital part but that doesn't change anything about what I said.
It changes because that explanation means that if that's true, his mind doesn't "SHIFT" when you're not controlling him.
Oh, I'm sure every time we're with mizuki in the past, he thinks he's precisely 6 years in the future for no absolute reason, including on the second day of the investigation.
Fuking moron.
Why is he so based
he was robbed.
Imagine if Date had Tama. Non stop cooming on both sides.
They wouldn't get along cause Tama would be sad that he advances aren't met with Embarrassment like they are with Ryuki
That will never happen because muh nippon tradition of boke and tsukkomi. Both Tama and Date are the boke part. Despite being translated, they are still mainly japanese games.
Mizuki and Aiba are both Tsukkomi partners
>ywn goon together with Tama
Was she right all along?
What was even the point of the timeline shift trick other than to prank the player? It doesn't actually affect the storyline at all and has no reason to exist unlike the body swap twist.
The Pokemon GO somnium was pure kino

Are we even sure Uchikoshi wrote 999? The writing is completely different and respects the player's intelligence.
What do you mean moron? That game filtered me harder than 999 did.
Bro, what if we combined my left brain hemisphere with your right and created the ultimate moron.
999 is shit
Fun fact, the abandoned amusement park, aka the only AI1 location to not appear in AI2, is actually included anyway in the bonus dancing mode.
Not true, the inside of the warehouse from AI1 isn't there either
Please post webm of Tokiko dancing
Got it working. I guess the game doesn't run in real fullscreen so I had to change the desktop res too. Wish I knew this a week ago though
render in 4K and downscale there's an NVIDIA feature for just that

Worth grinding out 100% achievements? I've done the bonus somnium & the doki doki literature club ending. Anything else cool that I might not want to miss? What is it about Hanako? Or the ARG?
Not really. This is what you get for 100%ing the game.
What's the Hanako thing? Is it in Amame's somnium?
ARG gives you pic related.
This is definitely hinting to AI3.
Ryuki's schizo dialogue has similar stuff.
If Uchi actually let a twitter poll pre AI2 decide that Iris will die in AI3 I will kneel
If that's the case I fully expect Ota to be either the protagonist or at least extremely involved in the story and constantly tagging along with the protag, like Iris or Mizuki in the first game.
>people think Ms. Eggplant Mapu tofu is just going to let that whole 'Got voted to get killed in the ARG' slide
just watch, come Ai3 she'll be the only one left alive and people will still just be all 'haha A-Set You bet what a moron'
Is Fray Dumb Letter an anagram or am I just a Dump Frayer
I think it's just supposed to be read "Freedom Letter"
Yes because it represents freedom from the false world and preconceptions. It's a clever trick. However there are many simulated worlds.
so that's what they were going for with the Ellis Island shit, they don't have liberty, bravo Uchi

Lien dancing with Kizuna was the best part of the game.
If Aiba modeled herself to Date's preference and mimicked Boss' appearance to a degree, why did she make herself so flat?
Play AI1, Mizuki calls out Date for being a pedo like 20 times throughout the game.
You think not being fantasy shrimp e-girl the REAL reason Date has such a hard time committing to a relationship with Hitomi?
She calls him a pedo for doing things like washing his clothes with hers not ogling flat chests. Considering his 3 current/past love interests are Boss, Reika, and Hitomi Date likes 'em mature.
This brat needs correction for projecting
>Some gay continues to shit himself impotently about how you couldn't possibly reasonably figure out certain twists across multiple threads
Don't get me wrong, the twist relies on some heavy contrivances, but this instinct to go to extremes and claim it's so shit that it's an asspull you can't figure out beforehand (and that anyone who says they did is lying) is moronic.
but anon you didn't have every single tool possible to solve the mystery in the first hour of the game that means it's shit(im very intelligent and would solve it immediately if it was fair btw)
So Uchikoshi is a Shovel Knight fan, huh.
He also likes Detroit Beyond Human
I mean, to be fair, who isn't a Shovel Knight fan in the industry circle?
Are people serious when they think Iris will be the real mastermind in AI3?
Uchi doesn't have the balls to pull off something like that, pissing off her fans.
Well, he made Kizuna disabled which probably pissed off some waifugays.
We already had one cute conspiracy airhead be a mastermind behind 2 games though
also Boss, yeah, but here we go
>pre-called Naix, alternate timelines, and immortality in the first game
>got kidnapped for the ARG for fraying-related reasons as described here
ARG gives you pic related.
>called Amame at the exact right time to prevent her from seeing her dad, would ultimately would have prevented his death
>her level in the latest game is about using everyone she knows as pawns in a game (also, the Kusemon Go symbols are the Eye of Wadjet)
only question is what her ultimate plan might be. As it stands right now, to fray you need to be playable, so watch out if A-Set U-Bet is an MC next game
She's also canonically a Danganronpa fan, so we know she's evil
Mizuki calls Date a pedo because she wants Date to be attracted to her. I though that was obvious
Interesting strategy she should call me a pedo and joke about me forcing myself on her.
I'm missing a lot of Trivia entries and I can't seem to get them. What's up with that?
For example trivia entries 2, 4, 6 and 7, could someone check one of these at least for me
I think you can only get some trivia entries if you're playing with spoilers enabled
Here's the guide.

Ah, thanks
Real talk though, the first game was so soulful. I remember enjoying it a lot more.
Maybe it's because the sequel recycles literally everything so it doesn't hit anywhere as hard. Felt more like a really long DLC.
Damn... this schizo completely lost it. I wouldnt be surprised if he started saying a dog did it.
How does an AI tie him up?
it doesn't, he's a schizo
I'm pretty certain that at one point Tama says she practices on him
Genki ippai, hanpanman!!!
her blob form can probably do it. Hamster Aiba could carry a fire extinguisher so...
>you play as a duo of plank boards in the other half
Who thought this was a good idea? What the frick was marketing team doing?
My biggest pet peeve was talking talking to a character only for the game to go “you licked the end scene ending option frick you don’t read anything else”
I wanted to keep reading… I feel like this happened less often in the first game but it’s been a while since I played that.
I reloaded from an auto-save and started savescumming the first time that happened. Frick you game.
Still mad that wink psyncs are 1 time per scene, have to savescum those too for no real reason.
>Still mad that wink psyncs are 1 time per scene
I'm pretty sure there's only one scene where you can only use wink psync once: the first time you meet Tokiko. I remember wink psyncing everyone afterwards
It's once per scene, not per day. If there are 3 people with wink psync available standing around in one location, you can only do 1 out of 3, and then reload for the other 2.
>tfw wasted wink psync on Kagami
Who?
Kagami
Are you sure you're not posting in the wrong thread?
Don't you remember? It's the detective that inspects every body on crime scene. Kagami
Do you mean Omochi?
No, no. That's the other guy. I am talking about Kagami, he always wears a face mask.
Did you even play the game? His name was Kaniza.
It can't be, he introduces himself properly everytime you ask. Kagami. Don't you remember?
You must be thinking of ace attorney or something
I remember wink pysncing into multiple people in a single scene.
I think the “one and done” wink psync only happens if you see mizuki/ryuki do the wink psyncing pose.
No seriously, is this some inside joke, or self insert, that only Uchi understand? Making all young looking titty monsters into single past marriage prime cakes?
Are you more of a Mayumi guy?
The reason should be pretty obvious, they just wanted pretty women in the game.
I understand that, but why do they have to be over 40? Receptionist, boss, the nurse... see the pattern? Only titty monsters are old. Flatties are young, what gives?
Common anime trope?
Obviously it means in this universe breasts continue to grow throughout a woman's life.
Tokiko is 53 and just fricking look at her, women in AI get objectively better with age
she didn't age at all in 6 years.
Social commentary to force nips to reproduce
what is with japan and its insistence on using family names? im talking to you not your family why would I use your family name
Because famiry more important than individual in nippon. Prease understandu.
I'm an American and all my friends refer to me by my last name...
I don't get it. If the eyeballs are so expensive then why did they let a mentally unstable man keep one for 6 years?
Cuz it's his waifu
So the Gen an Amame route never gets explained. Why was Date suspicious of ABIS? Why did Boss call in the SAT to use lethal force on Mizuki?
The one thing that bugs me is why the nurse says Jin looks similar to when she treated him, when that can't be the case since
No I'm pretty sure she said she was surprised how much he'd changed but could tell it was him from his demeanor.
She does, but you can also ask if his looks changed and she says nothing significant.
Aiba > Tama
the ONLY time Ryuki schizo'd out and mixed timelines was with the Shoma incident.
So Uchi is a footgay right?
>three characters with prominent bare feet
What do you think?
Ask Quentin to write the fighting scenes, these seem more like comedy
Yeah, why the frick does Bibi not wear shoes?
rats don't wear shoes
Are there any instances where the game actually does lie to preserve the twist?
I'd say the Ferris wheel thing is the closest it gets, but it's established that Ryuki is mentally unstable so I'd say it gets a pass. Otherwise it just obfuscates and misdirects.
I think the only part that's really lying is that in the files there are separate profile for 6 years ago/present day. 18 y/o Mizuki has a profile in present day, but in 6 years ago it's 12 y/o Mizuki and there's not a profile for Bibi who you're playing as. Obviously they couldn't just spoil it but that's still basically the game's player only info lying.
I'd argue that's more obfuscation, but fair enough.
simp doesn't mean they'll be subs
Yes it does
Ota couldn't dominate his way out of a paper bag
take one look at Ota and tell me he's going to dominate anything
I'm looking at Moma and he seems like the dominant type.
Just a huge A-Set simp.
if iris asked to step on his balls, he would open his legs without hesitation
Yeah, but what if it was someone else other than Iris?
didn't Ota imply that he would go out with Kizuna in the first scene of Ryuki's chapter
He listened to the receptionist's instructions without question. He's a simp for cute women.
he's gotten tricked by Chinpei chest twice now. Dominant, but not when it comes to cute women.
I honestly at first thought that Chinpei's gf was Amame and that she's secretly pregnant or something.
same, wonder which background mermaid it is. Or if it'll ever actually come up again
Same.
Kizuna having a sister named Mizuki and then meeting another girl that looks sounds and acts exactly like her and is also names Mizuki and brushing it off as just "oh lol you guys are so similar is all" is the dumbest fricking shit.
But she calls her Bis Sis.

I think the banter isn't as good as the first, but it improved in a lot of other areas.
Is the text during Ryuki's schizo episodes still in Japanese on the Japanese version?
It's corrupted text so yes it's the same.
Why can't Boss get a boyfriend?
She's a hag
I will be her boyfriend, She was saving herself to me, her daughter is adopted.
If you wouldn't frick this you're lying
Is this really Aiba's face? I both see it and not at the same time.
It's not Boss' face it's her hair. Aiba has the same hairline and little bits sticking up except those bits are glowing.

Poor Boss.

>forward with her desires for him
Date not having constant sex with Boss is the most unrealistic part of the whole series.
Probably because Boss is a little too crazy for him. She'd break his balls every night. Even he has his limits.
>break his balls
Haha that'd be horrible haha...imagine her stepping on your dick and balls haha
Boss is the ultimate beta oribter
he also got punched by bibi in the present so that probably messed up him even more. Thank you for your artistic illustration anon

I'm expecting the finale of the series or another game of Uchi to be (you) vs another 4th dimensional being that has access to the same tools as you.
umineko
>specific option prevents you from seeing everything else
Frick you Uchi, i hate this so fricking much. I want to see All dialogue. And not "choose one question and the story moves on". At least fricking highlight what argument moves the story and which doesnt.
I wish there was more Date in the game and they didn't have to write him out for stupid fricking spoiler protection
Same.
I dont play fricking dubs.
The voice is better in the Japanese version too even if it's the same VA
should have just set the game in a different timeline
I thought for sure that the game was going to be a continuation from the mizuki end of AI1
It would have been fricking hilarious to base the sequel in the timeline where So Iris exists
>mizuki end
That ending was pretty sweet, shame Date and Mizuki's meeting again after six years wasn't as sweet as that.
Basing your direct sequel in a timeline where what the player experienced in the 1st game didn't happen is also shit. In order for Date to keep the good body forever they'd need to retcon the head explosion climax which is a pretty big deal.
We were denied Date and Mizuki being cop buddies because of this.
But i like Ryuki and Tama. He reminds me of Eric.
saito is hotter than yagyu
Ryuki is actually a robot so that's why he doesn't age and get glitched by the videos
Why does Tokiko achieve Moksha because i tell her something?
Because it confirms that the world they exist in isn't real from their POV as Ryuki knows things he literally can't.
He already sees the simulation around him during his schizo attacks, cheat code or not
yeah, but that could be chalked up him being crazy, this is him getting the full explanation of "No, it's all fake."
No because the number comes from Tokiko in the future and returns to Tokiko in the past. She's the vessel for the information and also the closest character in the game to ascension already.
Ryuki is just a vessel for the Frayer.
Ryuki didn't create the fray, the frayer did via Tokiko's orchestration. Tokiko throws him a bone for being a part of the plan by gifting him the memories that the frayer had
Seems like it's okay with shit like timeline info sharing between characters (Dahlia Boat didn't make it shit itself), but only the Mizukis knew about the Nil Number, so Ryuki telling her that was a no-no
So was Date having memories/knowledge of shit in the true timeline of the first game from the bad end timelines intentional foreshadowing for this game or thrown in there as a 'just in case' the game is successful enough to warrant a sequel?
It was probably just meant as a callback to ZE while being technically explained by fractal memories
Yeah I know, I was just wondering how intentional it was at the time.
Considering that they had to do a bunch of big retcons for the plot of 2 to work I don't think it was planned during 1
date did not have knowledge of any alternate timelines
the actual information was remembering events from years ago
the shit he remembered from the iris timeline was just a fuzzy recollection of reading a popsci magazine or something
I'm like 90% sure he does in the abandoned warehouse unless I'm mis-remembering.
Sell me on Moksha
Frick the Demiurge, drop out.

[/spoilers]
Mizuki's smugness is going to lead me astray one day.
Mizuki and Bibi sex
I feel like Mizuki will show me no mercy while Bibi will apologise and go along with it anyway since horny Mizuki is a turn on for her.
>Didn't like Mizuki much in the first game
>Absolutely adore her in NI
What puberty does to girls
>Love Mizuki in TSF, see her as a daughter
>Love Mizuki in NI, see her as a woman
Why is brain like this, I don't like it.
>Why is brain like this, I don't like it.
You're going to like it anon.
Not many things are as satisfying as watching puberty hit a girl like a truck and turn her into a hot woman.
Be honest with me. They are shifting with their shift ability, arent they? It will be the big reveal in the 3rd game.
I mean, wasn't that the thing in VLR, (You) were the one Shifting before Sigma and Phi were remembering shit and I guess in ZTD before they just dropped that particular plot point
and why does the shrimp look like phido
Excuse me, that's my wife on the bottom. Dont post her like that.
they look nothing alike aside from the sharp eyes which is just a common feature
>Phi's eyebrows aren't dyed
what a fricking hack I never noticed for these 6 years
Mizuki (12) > Mizuki (18)
Mizuki (12) > Mizuki (24) > Mizuki (18)
Tell me about the unused content in the game.
there's a couple of cut boss examine dialogues on Ryuki's side,

this is a reference to Brian David Gilbert
https://twitter.com/robotortoise/status/1543724122949136386
there's a currently unused story DLC menu that's fully translated too
there's also an unused model of Marco's blob form. there's not much unused content this time
And the unused Wadjet room?
Found it.
SPAAAAAAAAACE
Are you tricking me, anonymous? That's the quantum computer from ZTD.
>unused model of Marco's blob form.
any pictures?
no but it exists
Oh nice
>Just a blob around his eye and that's it
already fascinated with what his potential character could be
Didn't Mizuki literally say he's shy and doesn't talk much?
He should be paired with Boss and his personality that of an anime butler. Boss making sexual innuendos and he being All polite and shy.
I thought that boy AI in the the art gallery with the horn was going to be Marco
Wasn't that supposed to be Tama? I can remmeber seeing the katakana for her name in the notes for that pic.
That was proto-tama
The fact Marko didn't get a real appearance in AI2 tells me he'll be featured in an AI3.
Mizuki/Marco, Date/Aiba, Ryuki/Tama, probably? Maybe throw in a fourth.
>Mizuki/Marco
I guess our Mizuki would take a backseat then. I do agree with Date/Aiba since she works better with him than she did with Mizuki.
As for a 4th, I feel that's inevitable since we'd probably get a new protagonist but idk if all 4 would get routes. It would be too cluttered.
Be honest with me. They are shitting with their shit ability, arent they? It will be the big reveal in the 3rd game.
Alright. Since we dont have any official data on this, we have to decide between ourself.
Boss, Tama, The receptionist, the nurse
Who's the biggest? Unironically i think Boss, but the hoodie She wears is tight.
I'm pretty sure it's the Receptionist, her's are oversized for comedic effect, whereas the others are just "big".
Iris is autistic...
Hopefully she's brutally killed for real in 3.
Friendly reminder that this is just a front. Iris knows about Wink Psync and is preventing (You) to reading her true thoughts. She has seen the seams like Ryuki has.
perhaps you are that butterfly
so, y'all'st've got any DLC ideas?
>VLR/ZTD Sonmiums featuring Ai characters
>Sunfish Cafe Minigame
>Even more QTE action scenes DLC because frick you .t Uchi
>A-Set! You Bet! Brand New Start of the Internet World! Also Known As Tesa! Vlog series DLC
In hindsight the Mizuki twist was apparent with her non reaction to Date's return. I always did find that odd plus her passing out from Ryuki's shock attack. Seemed a little strange for someone like her.
so why was iris so happy about being the first girl in ryuki's car?
Anon, Ryuki is a pretty boy. Despite being schizo.
then why didn't she just go for it right then and there
Tama was there first, and Iris isnt a bawd that starts sex, she's submissive.
iris should have kept her mouth shut then
Obviously She was excepting that Ryuki will make a move on her. But Ryuki is hanpanman.
so if ryuki had made a move and taken her right there and then in the car, she wouldn't fight it?
Obviously not or she wouldn't have said what she said. Tama would probably seethe in rage and try to stop it though.
>Ryuki fricks Iris in his car
>somehow got her pregnant
Now imagine the carnage that would ensue. Tama, Ota, Moma, Hitomi, etc
>Tama
they would have to disable her beforehand or she would try to murder Iris during the act, probably continuously afterwards as well
>Ota
>doing anything
haha
>Moma
'Happy for them' in front of Iris but yeah that's an issue, good luck Ryuki
>Hitomi
shotgun wedding time, no if ands or buts
Ota is worthless but he would absolutely ape out that Ryuki knocked up Iris.
it'd be a worthless otaku chimpout though, compared to the wave of hitmen that Moma would unleash
That's true but seeing Ota sperg out would be funny.
You forget that Ota is both 30 and a canon virgin. He'd use his wizard powers to murder Ryuki from afar.
But what if Ryuki doesn't want to marry her?
Then he shouldn't have knocked her up. Do the crime, do the time.
Because she wanted to ride him too and Tama wanted to stop her.
Iris is very manipulative and does all her flirting on purpose
there was no real reason to say that though
This game has been a good filter for who should and shouldn't play Uchikoshi games.
So what happened to Aine, Binato, Mariha, Lumina and Kairo?
That doesn't tell me what happened to them.
Cute!
Surely Tearer was just RPing as Delta, right? His whole somnium was an escape room nod
if it's all a simulation does that mean aiba and tama have real bodies in the real world?
Yes, Tama mogs Aiba even in real world.
The frick is his answer going to be
one of the replies to that tweet says the special edition artbook says why, anyone have the SE ITT to check?
From what people have said it essentially says that uchikoshi has seen people that have made him go “this dude has a square head lol” and he wanted to make a square headed character but with cartoonishly exaggerated features because he knew people would do a double take.
So the answer? For shits and giggles nothing more.
frick the original guy, asks a question then doesn't respond when the guy he asked responds for a whole day
It's explained why he has the head.
When?
It's because he's a blockhead

>square head
>suspicious camera-like hole near the top of his face
>son is a robot-building prodigy
>his routes are the earliest ones the player completes
I'm like 50% sure that Uchi was using him as a red herring, to make us think the twist might involve human-looking robots.

Nice
>ending dance again
So happy they kept it
Impregnating this post-menopausal hag
>10th time I've fapped to Tokiko in the past 3 days
What's wrong with me bros?
Absolutely nothing. You are simply based.
Kissable, soft lips
>ywn kiss Tokiko's lips
I'm in the wrong world.
She's so hot though...
>her face after you cum in her for the 5th time in a row

That's not how you achive Moksha, anon. Practice abstinence, lots of magical energy will attract frayers to you.
you have good taste
>her mature voice
HNNNNNG
Tokiko's voice was amazing and I could listen to her talk about the nature of the universe for hours
It's so cute how gentle Bibi sounds when she's talking with Mizuki.
I want them both to be gentle with me.
Time for a new thread soon I reckon?
Stand back anon, I will fray and make someone make a new thread.
Fine ill do it
Fricking Ryuki's eyehole and having sex with Tama by proxy
Why are all the Mizukibros commissioning all the porn? Where at all the Tokikobros at? Do your part and commission!
this. i don't give a damn about mizuki. give me some lewd tokikos.
Im fine with Mizuki lewds but lets the other girls have their time in the sun
Mizukibros are all pedo old men who have money to waste. Tokikogays are all shotas with no income of their own
Frick yeah. I got one Mizuki Bibi lined up, maybe another Mizuki if this dude would reply and take my request.
IF I'm still horny I might consider Tokiko then.
That's a pretty lewd gesture. Looks like a dick and balls.
Uchi "lied."
Brainlets cried.
Sex with jelly-based AI!
You can canonically eat their jelly.
Actual new thread. Sorry fellow TokikoChad
Sorry senpai but you already got less posts

Just begging for a mod to have an autism fit.
Isn't there a 30-day grace period for newly released or updated games? Either way, you're right that it's asking for trouble and best to be avoided.
