one active thread after a new game release isn't enough to support a general. I'd be surprised if these can survive into the next month, assuming the DLC rumors pan out
This and i say it as someone who enjoyed both games.

Gonna repeat it since the thread ended the moment i posted. That's the fricking point you dingus. The moment "Mizuki" saw Date everyone expected them to have a wholesome reunion but they acted like they've seen eachother the day before. That was the biggest indicatior for the timeline twist which wasn't far away.
Nah, even in the present when he comes back no one cares too much. Mizuki gets mad and asks him where he was for the past 6 years and then back to normal
>That's the fricking point you dingus.
The reality is the Mizuki route from the first game never happened. NI follows the 'true resolution' route, where Date failed to save her in her somnium, leaving Mizuki to latch more on Hitomi and friends for comfort. Therefor Mizuki/Date relationship was more distant in the true resolution compared to Date/Iris father-daughter bond.
Sadly, this also means Mayumi and Ota resolution never happened in reality and Ota a shit who doesn't truly appreciate his mom.
It's been years but I remember some vague comments from Ota in the epilogue suggesting he got his character development carried over between timelines for some reason same way Date remembers stuff he shouldn't. And in Nirvana their relationship seems good since he let his mom retire and all.
About this, during ryuki's somnium tama can reverse psync into that parents or date scene from mizuki route.
Also the I'm home/welcome back conversation compress the entire ending of mizuki route as in that route, mizuki concluded that family is not bound by blood, but relationship that they can say ordinary thing like "i'm home/welcome"
So even if these routes didn't happen, their growth from parallel world should carry over to some extent like date/ryuki
The threads are slowing down enough, they will probably die and then resurrect when the euro release drops. /vng/ doesn't like these kinds of games and /drg/ is... /drg/. Maybe /tookyog/ someday after Kodaka's not danganronpa is released.
The Euro release was friday, with no notable bump. Maybe some stuff will be announced when the spoiler block comes off on the 15th, but seems like the threads won't even last til then
It's funny how often they just straight up showed her alive and well and I still just thought "oh well she's weird and transcendent and Ryuki is a schizo so no wonder". Even when they showed up in the warehouse I didn't get it yet.
No, the most "heartfelt" thing to happen during the actual Mizuki's reunion when everything is revealed to her including Uru's body with Date is the two of them doing the "I'm home"/"Welcome back", but not only is it not preceded by anything really heartfelt due to the scene smash-cutting to the mass-revelation, but it's also immediately followed by a joke so what chance they had was squandered. It never even comes close to echoing the sincere moments they shared in Mizuki Route, which while not actually a part of Nirvana's timeline, still serves to show that they can have full scenes where they show affection for one another
Listen, i love these games and spikechun but holy frick i wish they would cut back on the otaku culture shit. So much idol pandering, straight up unfunny sexual """jokes""" and anime cliches.
these games are in a weird place where they don't sell in the only place where that kind of shit occurs yet sell everywhere else, so they need to play up the weeb angle just to make ends meet
[...] >haha Iris you brain-damaged schizo why would you dance to beat the bad guys >dance scene at the end of every single game

I don't understand. Do Japanese people stand up and clap when they see idolshit or what. It's not funny or entertaining, i am stonefaced for the 3 minutes i'm exposed to this shit when i play this game
is it REALLY japanese humor if only westerns gave a shit?
>japanese """humor"""
I don't understand. Do Japanese people stand up and clap when they see idolshit or what. It's not funny or entertaining, i am stonefaced for the 3 minutes i'm exposed to this shit when i play this game
I fricking hate this game. I fricking love this game. The story is implausibility upon implausibility and is frustrating to read at times. Everything in the story exits to serve such a ridiculous twist that is so fricking stupid that I love it. No one else would ever write this kind of story because so much of the narrative suffers because of it. At the same time, because no one else would ever write this, I kind of love it. As a story I think it is quite a bit worse than the first game, but the game isn't 'about the "story" it's about the experience of 'playing' through the story.
I can't defend the action scenes though. The just suck and are too long. Sentai and it's consequences have been a disaster for the human race.
I thought the action scenes were ok but the final one was absolutely too much. I do miss the set-up in 1 where the action is mostly insane because Aiba is making a bunch of 1:100000000 calculations and abusing Date's porn-addled mind to keep him alive. Having a split of Tama doing a similar gimmick for Ryuki would help balance Mizuki's natural strength.
What I liked about the action scenes in the first game was how they escalated from crazy to absolutely fricking insane. The ridiculously unfitting awesome fight music only amped this. They were a nice break from the bleak serial killer stuff.
Then you get to the ending where Moma saves Date from Saito followed by Date and Saito having a straightforward slugfest with no jokes or porn superpowers with the exact same music playing and shit just works.
In the second game, shit's all over the place where they can't make up their mind on whether they want the fights to be serious or funny. Honestly the main things that stuck for me are that the final one drags on way too much and Date steals the show every time he's present.
I feel like there were WAY too many Mizuki fight scenes in AI2. There's only so many times you can watch mooks getting beaten up with a super-strength pipe before it gets repetitive and overstays its welcome (even moreso in the fight scenes where there's two of them running around doing the same thing).
Hell, there were probably too many fight scenes in general in AI2, but Mizuki being involved in the majority of them doesn't help matters.
I was completely done with the fight scenes by the time Bibi and Mizuki team up at Aioen. Zero tension because both of them have super powers so my brain just clocked out. Then you had the ending on top of that and it was just awful, it actively made the game worse.
Compare that to the fight scenes in AI1, which were used sparingly and had at least some sense of danger to them. The finale where Date confronts So and has to shoot him in the fricking eye was brutal. Mizuki bopping people and Date shooting rubber bullets completely ruined any possible tension that the finale could have had. Since Uchi is a fan of the author being dead, I'll just pretend like it was bad on purpose to hammer in the point that its all a simulation, rather than accept that Uchi is a fricking hack.
I remember when I got the first fight scen in AI1, and thought "what a silly bit this is, they even brought out a gatling gun!" And then it kept happening.
There were way too many and that final battle went on for far too long and I couldn't take Ryuji's unintentionally hilarious "death" seriously. It felt like whiplash and even worse that it was played seriously.
Though the choreography was definitely better than the first game, they still had too many mooks just stand in a circle around a character with guns and just take turns getting knocked out. They never felt like a real threat.
I mean, in his defense, perhaps he didn't tell her he was a frayer back in the beginning since he didn't know what it was or didn't trust naixlady. She won't ask for the number if you say no.
Does anything change if you get the spoiler question correct at the start of the game? I'm also a moron that forgot what Date looked like and missed the optional dialogue so I didn't notice that he had a fake mask the whole game.
>go through the whole of the game to get the final nirvana spell that's buried in the Appendix, won't know what to do with it unless you've been following the ARG >Fray Dumb Letter reveals that Iris has the power to make a tear and interact with the Frayer (Also known as (You)) >in-game she's just Eggplant Eggplant and Mapu Tofu
what the frick Uchi
Tearer's somnium made me crave more Zero Escape. I played Danganronpa and escape games like The Room series, but Zero Escape are the only games where I actually need to keep a notebook with me to take notes for the puzzles.
You want more Zero Escape specifically, or you just want escape room games in general? Escape Simulator came out relatively recently, while the built-in rooms are all pretty easy it has workshop support with a deep level editor, and custom levels can get puzzle intensive.
everytime Date appeared, it made me realize how much I missed playing as him, as well as his dynamic with Aiba. Ryuki and Tama are fine together, but Aiba and Mizuki together are boring.
its still really fricking weird to me that Uru is just out of nowhere revealed to be another So kid. Uru works fine as just some random unfortunate orphan, why tie So back into it?
at this point it seems the series is just about So's various children fricking things up, we can only wait and see how Ai3 shapes up considering the shit the ARG reveals about Iris

, all the stuff with Naix, alternate timelines, and immortality she managed to pre-call in the first game into account, it would essentially make her into Ai's version of Akane.
AiNi should have been a whole new character assembly, the returning characters are stalled, and in Mizuki's case outright retconned, to fit in the new story.
Well now I'm eager to boycott a 3rd game they proceed to invent new contrived backstories yet again to tie the returning characters to the new plot, Ryuki's dead parents will be revealed to be dimensional hopping aliens who were killed after betraying their race by settling on earth, perhaps?
>"NOOOOO I can't believe Mizuki's horrible mother who barely even appeared in TSF didn't actually give birth to her"
Ganker gets mad about the weirdest things.
Very low IQ take. Yes, she was a bad person, but so what? She died at the start of the story, but Date spends a lot of time uncovering information about her after her death so I don't see what her physical presence has to do with anything? Her being a horrible mother is a key part of the plot and Mizuki's story. Your media literacy is fricking rock bottom, christ.
Because it's a blatant retcon. Yeah, adoptive parents aren't all saints once the novelty wears off but Mizuki having abusive shitty parents was enough trauma without her being electrocuted and tortured daily as a child on top of that.
It never needed explanation. Mizuki originally said it was because of her grandfather and that was enough. It's just a character quirk. Like Date's super strength when seeing porn or guys with box shaped heads. It's not supposed to be realistic.
is it okay to go right ahead and play the AI: Somnium series even if the only thing tangentially related to the series I've ever played was 999? I really enjoyed 999 and wonder if I have to play VLW and ZTD first to enjoy the newest thing or if it's totally stand-alone
Pretty much yeah, Mizuki not being biologically related to Reiji and Shoko had no reason be, the entire frickery with Bibi could have still have happened, just adjust who is the clone of who.
It also retroactively makes Reiji and Shoko even worse parents in retrospect, they adopted a kid who they would lose all connection for in just 9 years, they being busy people who had to cope with the fact they had an unplanned daughter was easier to swallow.
You could just say some evil scientist stole Mizuki's godly DNA (just don't try to explain or justify her power with genetic engineering) and we could still have Bibi just make her younger clone with some defects.
Or hell, just make Bibi and Mizuki twins that Shoko sold to Chikara and just have Boss and Renju adopt them separately for whatever contrived reason.
Xenoblade will be a guaranteed success with or without your buy, this and Digimon need every sale they can get if you want to see more games in the franchise
It’s actually a pretty good game in my opinion, but it messes up a lot of the stuff that happens in the first game to avoid spoilers and execute the uchikoshi twist
The first game is relatively grounded all things considered and the sequel ramps it up to a degree that people don't like because they were expecting more of 1, and also bends over backwards for a particular plot twist to work. I don't regret buying it though. If you have played the Zero Escape series, imagine that AI1 is 999 and AI2 is VLR.
It's a good game on its own other than the twist requiring a lot of suspension of belief. Most people are just disappointed because it's not as good as 1 and sort of shits on it retroactively by retconning things and kind of screwing over the happy ending Date got at the end of 1 by making him get another 6 years of amnesia
I really hated that part when they revealed that there was actually no mystery at all, the game just tricked you into thinking there was using unreliable narration.
I agree, but really only for the Mizuki side. If the only protagonist was Ryuki it would make significantly more sense since he actually is experiencing things out of order because of TC-PERGE
The problem with the 1st game's mystery is that it was too obvious, everyone called it hours before the characters arrived to that answer which was frustrating, and having to sit through long as frick spoonfeeding scenes on BOTH sides of the flowchart just felt really patronizing. Reviews complained about it, and I guess that's why they made the second game's twist unsolvable.
As funny as I think Sexy eyeball seaweed gel woman is, I think it would have been better if all the AI real-world forms were different animals like Aiba
if you're talking about what I think you're talking about it's unironically already called Tama rough draft, it just had Aiba's colour scheme for some reason

>quantum computer from ZTD found in the game files
probably just a unused joke answer >looks like a giant AI-ball >used in an alt ending to simulate a whole reality for Sean
oh no
The religious fanatic in ZE can't be found because they don't exist in that world, they come from the AI world and they are from the order of %. Someone at Elgorg manages to hack the quantum computer with the Wadjet system and they transfer their mind to either a person genetically similar to them or to their body from that world(assuming there's one). Their reason is simply "for the lulz" because the world is all GTA. Also the AI world is the Sean gift ending because life is simply unfair.
I played the whole game waiting for the reveal that Ryuki was actually sproutling Falco that ended up in the present due to Time Bullshit. I was expecting his Date-crush to be a really long-running joke on how narcissistic Date is.
anyway since the threads are dying, I just want to thank everyone for the requests. I had a lot of fun doing these.
See you whenever ai3 drops (or in the xeno threads if I like the new game)
Bless your art anon. I dont like the artstyle of the new xeno tho which is ironic since i really like the AI1/2 artstyle. Maybe it's because the eyes arent super huge and they have alot of facial expressions.
same, it looks way too sharp for me in some places but I'm willing to give it a go since I really enjoyed the first two.
Also thank you for the compliment. Glad you like my work 🙂
Pick one for dlc. Both are free in each scenario: >Hour long cutscenes of different characters having genuine talks with minimal/no sex jokes. Date and Mizuki, Mizuki and Bibi, Ryuki and Tama, etc >A mini-case that's actually really compelling but the characters are completely focused on it and only really talk about the case and sex jokes
Mini case unironically. I think AI would work better in the ace attorney structure meaning having 3-4 small cases that are more or less connected instead of a huge one.
I like the idea of multiple smaller cases since I really enjoyed AI1's left branch with Date directly confronting the main suspect after investigating the latest victim.
Did people dislike those sequences or was the sequel simply not designed in a way that allowed for multiple interrogations? I thought they decided to do away with evidence presenting completely in AI2 right up until the very last somnium.
I hope DLC or a third game brings back interrogations with more refined mechanics, at least. The VR investigations were neat, but it's not as satisfying as directly confronting a suspect.
Ryuki was threatened with demotion in the past, for shooting an employee while chasing after Tearer's autistic baloons. From his perspective, in the day before, he was actually chasing Amame in the present.
Ryuki was threatened with demotion in the past, for shooting an employee while chasing after Tearer's autistic baloons. From his perspective, in the day before, he was actually chasing Amame in the present.
in retrospect, Boss was surprisingly lenient towards Ryuki for completely schizoing out and shooting that guy, even with the "I know what will make the mentally unstable guy better: A strict time limit." shit. Why'd she even hire him in the first place? he's a total liability.
I've come to you solely to let you know that the only troony I actually know of in-person fricking loves this game and never shuts the frick up about it.
>have TWO questions for spoiler mode >all it does is Date telling you he wears a mask which makes no sense 50% through the game
Why ever have it at all at that point?
That seems to be the implication and im kind of sad it's not followed up more as a side bit. He even flees the country due to a tipoff so you don't get to ask him questions in the epilogue like before.
>Speaking of So, was he actually trying do something decent for once and actually get to know and bond with Iris?
I'm pretty sure that's the implication. Take a look at his hobbies, at the very least he's taken an interest in Iris.
How did people not figure out the bibi twist the moment that Chapter 4 begins and Komeji is said to have been killed the night before? Not only that, but its clearly Mizuki's voice actor under the mask due to how she intones some of the words despite the distortion.
Also, playing ZTD now for the first time and for all the whinging I heard over the years that VLR ruined Junpei, VLR actually did him justice and ZTD completely ruins his character with that gay look, crying to sleep in the shower, wanting to kill everyone to save himself shit. Is there a bigger twist about him coming up or is it really just "I saw some shit".
I knew the masked woman was a clone, big sis, and boss's daughter from deduction but I was too invested in who was who and where during the Komeji scene that I kind of overlooked the hard evidence right there. I knew something was up because Urameshi or whatever the detective's name was says the power outages happen days apart and the chemicals show the bloodstains clearly on thermo, but I wasn't expecting to be playing as Bibi.
As soon as the detective said that Komeji died the night before I started frantically looking at the flowchart and tried to figure it out on my own before moving on. That's part of why I like Uchikoshi's games so much, they reward you for thinking and trying to figure out the twists before being spoonfed to you (unlike shitty Danganronpa games which punishes you for thinking). Everything at the warehouse was just extra, I thought it was all pretty obvious by that point.
>Chikara tapped that
How the frick did he do it bros?
Chikara was her boss, she was like his secretary or something. On top of that power dynamic, Chikara introduced her to his cult so it would have been pretty easy to mind break her into bearing your kids afterward.
>How did people not figure out the bibi twist the moment that Chapter 4 begins and Komeji is said to have been killed the night before?
Time Travel
>Not only that, but its clearly Mizuki's voice actor under the mask due to how she intones some of the words despite the distortion.
Mizuki from the future
Because the protagonist having a secret clone that dresses identical, has the exact same ride, has the same hairstyle, has the exact same AI partner, and the same empty eye socket is asking us to buy a lot of bullshit.
Maybe you can assume there is some time frickery going on, but clone frickery is one of those moronic plots that is so overused out of convenience that most people throw the theory out because it's too easy. Tearer being Ryuki's dead brother being cut in half and fused with Uru would have felt less contrived.
>clone frickery
It wasn't my first Uchi game so that was pretty obviously the case. The man just took Knox's 10 rules and does the opposite in every story.
Are you forgetting that the very first body you found was a guy who "died" 6 years ago? The reason why they can slip with everyone dying "yesterday" or some shit, is that it's suppose to build up the mystery for the frayer of how these bodies are being persevered for 6 years
No, moron, its not just the body being found, the detectives play you an audio clip of Komeji encountering a guard and there are witnesses that saw Komeji the night before. I asked how people could miss this and I guess the answer is that you're a fricking moron.
idk why aiba’s such a b***h about mizuki being hyper impulsive. she spent the last 6 years without a parental figure, people older than her keep adultifying her (ex: kizuna and her pussy ass bf Lien), and boss is pressuring her to Keep It Up.
So I just found that imgur (https://imgur.com/a/9Hf5x6x) with some of the minor and major localization mistakes and was wondering if DMing or tweeting at Uchikoshi's ENG twitter or the main localization person's twitter could cause some of the major errors to be fixed. Overall I found the localization pretty good and I'm not going to complain about moronic jokes like deez nuts or chug jug in a Uchikioshi game (even if I wish more games handled jokes like S;G where there's a glossary to explain cultural jokes) but the localization/translation errors that hurt the plot really need to be fixed. Uchikoshi and the localizer person seem pretty outspoken on twitter so maybe it's worth a shot to bring the bigger stuff up because it's a blemish on an otherwise great game.
I'd appreciate it if someone could, I'm sure they'd get a bit miffed seeing some of the minor ones brought up, but the major stuff they should own up to.
Just do it and see them squirm.
Twitter is requiring a phone number for me to sign up and I'm a NEET without a phone.

Don't the characters refer to mama as a "she" though?
It's a japanese gay bar thing, the owner dresses in drag and is called "Mama." It's not analoguous to western drag culture, so I'm not going to pretend I'm familiar with the details.
Mama's cool and calling her a guy would make her sad, so I'll make an exception.

Still gonna refer to mama as a she since the game does it. It's easier that way.
May sound stupid but I feel Aiba sounds a bit too serious/robotic in JP. Aiba is pretty silly herself sometimes so her ENG voice is better to me. Also I adore Mame's ENG dub too, she's so cute. The "Because it's good!" line in Gen's somnium is adorable.
999 >= AI1 > VLR > powergap > dogshit > AI2 >"Hey how about we take everything we established in AI1 and ignore it to not make spoilers to drive more sales" >(inherently spoils 2nd psync machine, which works differently from AI1 and Hitomi x Date) >"Hey let's make the MAIN PLOT TWIST be about how the timeline is shown rather than the plot itself!" >"Hey let's make the villains be le complex motive generic kill the world thing only to do jack shit for 6 years only to get BTFO'd offscreen by a random mermaid!"
This last one is literally No Time to Die tier shit
Fricking weet ik. What a disappointment I wish we didn't get a sequel unironically. The music is also vad except Faith to Face, Face off, Chikara somnium track. Nothing else >inb4 lien somnium
Repetitive single guitar riff without anything special going for it. Also worst somnium jn the game.
>>"Hey let's make the villains be le complex motive generic kill the world thing only to do jack shit for 6 years only to get BTFO'd offscreen by a random mermaid!"
That's not what happens at all, moron.
Also, what do you mean, lien somnium? Everyone knows that Lien is a shit character and has a shit somnium except for that one guy who self inserts as him and thinks he's the coolest dude ever.
PC has best performance but controller support is wonky if you want to use one. I refunded it on Steam, bought it on Switch instead then pirated it to take high res screenshots
So who is this? Amame? And why is this person appearing in a blue silhouette? At the time I just chalked it up to Ryuki schizo symptoms, then due to TC Perge, but now that I think about it, this type of blue silhouette only appears inside somniums. Holy shit, is the entire game really a somnium after all?
The only thing I'm confused about here is why Tama didn't say anything. Was her vision messing up too or did she know it was Mame and didn't say anything because of her oath or whatever?
the underlying theme of Boss/ABIS being sketchy as frick has been there since the first game, and Gen's route/ending is pretty much the only time we really get to see it in full. I mean, that whole bodyswap plot in the first game was her idea in the first place, and if it actually worked then it would've ended with both the Kumakuras and So under her thumb with Falco backing her up. Only question is why she decided to throw everything against Gen of all people, and Mizuki while she was working for her. Seems pointless, unless they expand upon it in the DLCs

I understand she's not the best person but still, seems like a rash decision that should have been explained better. I also understand SAT and the characters themselves made things worse and maybe she didn't fully expect for it to get so bad but still. Overall it seems like the side routes really took a step down compared to the first game.

Yeah I really don't know what to make of it. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Boss/ABIS end up being bad in the next game, but even if they do it really wasn't worth ruining a route in the second game for "foreshadowing". Would have rather had they did something like Shoma/Komeji's route but for Gen/Amame where everything ends up happy for them and then main route still goes down the way it did.

The side routes are so short and lacking that I have to wonder why they even bothered. It feels like they were inserted just for the sake of having them.
But Ryuki tells Date and gang that he's built up an immunity to TC Perge over the years, implying that he first got sprayed when he met Tearer at the cathedral. Also, why doesn't Tama point out that he's chasing Amame or let Boss know? We also never see Ryuki open the box in that scene and for him to develop a resistance to it, he'd have to have opened the box before.
It being a somnium makes the most sense and it would fix every bad problem I have with the plot. But I don't want to be like those FF7R "theorists" that spout shit out of their ass as a coping mechanism for how bad the story is.
So if I really enjoyed the writing of these two games would I enjoy 999? I'm god awful at puzzles and looking at the character designs they don't really appeal to me so I dunno
999's puzzles are pretty easy and while there are a lot of them, they're mostly straight forward and are mostly about investigating the background in the right order, rather than using real brain power like in VLR.
So if I really enjoyed the writing of these two games would I enjoy 999? I'm god awful at puzzles and looking at the character designs they don't really appeal to me so I dunno
they needed another police man for the MCs to interact with, but you'd think they would just give that inspector that's always at the scene a name to expand on his character more
Sean from the virtual world went on to complete his dream and created Elgorg which created the wadjet system, this created the AI world divergence.
Sean is also the frayer but especificaly the robot Sean which can control the computer at will and traverse realities as his original self dreamed of.
Maybe I'm moronic but if Date's eye socket is still connected to Aiba to the point he can hear Aiba and Mizuki communicating without speaking, then did that just not work at all over 6 years he was chilling in Atami?
I honestly think they had too many ideas for this game which lead to it being too muddled at some places in the story.
Also Date being out actually hurt the game quite a bit.
It was still a fun ride though, but the first game was better.
Any other games similar to this? Not western indie games if possible.
Weird that nobody's drawn Mizuki & Bibi kissing yet. Not that I'm complaining since it's a miracle that we even got any fanart in the first place, but you think somebody would've done it by now.
Regardless she still felt and caused suffering. I also don't know what she's expecting the non-simulated world to be like, unless it's some heaven type deal there will just be suffering too.

The goal isn't to escape to a world without suffering, the goal is to escape to a world where the suffering matters because it's REAL. I think. Either way she's autistic and should just calm down

The point is to know what reality actually is. Whether you're a man, or a butterfly. Tokiko found out it was a simulation through her attempted suicide, and decided all her suffering meant jack shit.
it's only not suffering if she got some kind of omniscient being (aka (You)) to turn back time for her, then got the being to get a policeman to remember the details of everything that happened in the case from that point on so that he would be able to prevent further damage from occurring so it all effectively never happened.
Such a silly situation could only happen in a fake reality, so clearly she's a bad guy
best I can do is this and the fact that both their bios' Likes specifically include each other
at this point it seems the series is just about So's various children fricking things up, we can only wait and see how Ai3 shapes up considering the shit the ARG reveals about Iris [...]

or >she's back to wearing the mask again and her bond with Mizuki and Boss is explicitly absent in whatever scene she's in

It's the revelation that all reality is a fake that Ryuki is having a hard time dealing with, not so much that his friends aren't going through so much shit
ryuki didn't really react very strongly to it at all other than being surprised by the big changes
he mostly seemed mildly unsatisfied and awkward in the end
he was still surprised by the changes even six years later, I'm not sure how he's supposed to handle things going forwards. Didn't he get a promotion in Diverge too?

This and i say it as someone who enjoyed both games.
Gonna repeat it since the thread ended the moment i posted. That's the fricking point you dingus. The moment "Mizuki" saw Date everyone expected them to have a wholesome reunion but they acted like they've seen eachother the day before. That was the biggest indicatior for the timeline twist which wasn't far away.
Nah, even in the present when he comes back no one cares too much. Mizuki gets mad and asks him where he was for the past 6 years and then back to normal
But even the reunion with not Bibi Mizuki was kinda flat considering the setup
Ota still matures enough to run the diner and take care of his mom even without the Mayumi ending.
Maybe some stuff will be announced when the spoiler block comes off on the 15th, but seems like the threads won't even last til then
So was she just alive and real in that jumpscare or was that a hallucination after she died? I forgot when that happens.
She's alive at that point. She just jumpscared Ryuki into a breakdown.
It's funny how often they just straight up showed her alive and well and I still just thought "oh well she's weird and transcendent and Ryuki is a schizo so no wonder". Even when they showed up in the warehouse I didn't get it yet.
She's dead, but the timelines being shown out of order and Ryuki being schizo makes it seem like she came back to life. Don't believe Naix lies.
How are these threads still going? What is there left to discuss? Everyone's finished the game and uninstalled it.
Is this some discord group spamming Ganker? You morons are about to be purged to /vg/.
>Is this some discord group spamming Ganker?
Yes. They were here during the last game shilling too.
I just realized why it's the nil number. Nil is the same as "none" or "no" and the word number can be shortened as "No."
Nono.
Sasuga uchi.
was letting Uchi on twitter a mistake?
How else would we find out that Sigma x Date wouldn't work because there's no way Date would be able to handle Sigma's massive dick?
>Sigma
>6+ feet tall
>massive guns
>massive wiener
>only 186 pounds
>the same weight as Ryu in Street Fighter 6
Why are Japs so bad with weights?
Was it really necessary to have a separate scene for Kizuna pissing herself?
Frick off, go play fortnite or something
Jesus that's why I hate normal people
>normal people
Why is it either that you're a "normie" or you like terrible anime cliches bad writing and idolshit
He acts so defensive because he thinks you're gonna take away his waifus lmao.
The shitty jokes are SOVL
Are those even jokes? I legitimately don't understand how they could be called a joke besides the expectation that the people hearing laugh
>Cat reaction image
Opinion into the trash.
Na, AI1 was comedy kino. I rather have that than a slog like VLR.
when the frick are they gonna patch the aliasing issues and bitcrushed FMVs? Even PS4 and Xbone are fricked
>haha Iris you brain-damaged schizo why would you dance to beat the bad guys
>dance scene at the end of every single game
what does it mean
>what does it mean
game is her somnium
is it REALLY japanese humor if only westerns gave a shit?
ludokino
Look at her go
>japanese """humor"""
I don't understand. Do Japanese people stand up and clap when they see idolshit or what. It's not funny or entertaining, i am stonefaced for the 3 minutes i'm exposed to this shit when i play this game
Pelvis-shattering sex with Mizuki!
Just finished the game yesterday.
Thank you for your detailed thoughts anon.
More importantly though, who was your waifu?
Tama for obvious reasons.
Tama is hot.
Honestly the main things that stuck for me are that the final one drags on way too much and Date steals the show every time he's present.
>no jokes
I see you forgot the part where he uppercuts him ten feet in the air.
It's neither played as a joke nor porn-powered super strength hell if anything it's wholesome protective dad superpower so I gave it a pass.
They never felt like a real threat.
what do I do with the string of numbers I got at the end?
The messenger of the four unseen Xs
Go back to when tokiko talks to you in Ryuki chapter 1
Come on frayer, the game isn't that long that you would forget important events.
GOD OF FORGETFULNESS
INTI INTI, ALZHEIMERS MAX
I mean, in his defense, perhaps he didn't tell her he was a frayer back in the beginning since he didn't know what it was or didn't trust naixlady. She won't ask for the number if you say no.
I did this but I still remembered to go back after the game because she said some weird shit
LOL
Does anything change if you get the spoiler question correct at the start of the game? I'm also a moron that forgot what Date looked like and missed the optional dialogue so I didn't notice that he had a fake mask the whole game.
Nothing changes.
Some of the trivia entries introducing the characters don't trigger early on if you prove you're familiar with the first game.
Him wearing the mask is so fricking moronic I hate it
I love Aiba
>go through the whole of the game to get the final nirvana spell that's buried in the Appendix, won't know what to do with it unless you've been following the ARG
>Fray Dumb Letter reveals that Iris has the power to make a tear and interact with the Frayer (Also known as (You))
>in-game she's just Eggplant Eggplant and Mapu Tofu
what the frick Uchi
THE DLC!!!!!!!!
we only see the lobotomized version in-game because people voted off the one that had that power
Anons what the frick is going on? Someone I was speaking to earlier just completely disappeared mid-conversation, that's not fricking normal.
Everything is fine. Do not ponder on the nature of existence. Take your medication.
>You want more Zero Escape specifically, or you just want escape room games in general?
An escape game as autistic as Zero Escape
everytime Date appeared, it made me realize how much I missed playing as him, as well as his dynamic with Aiba. Ryuki and Tama are fine together, but Aiba and Mizuki together are boring.
Does anyone actually think Iris is behind everything?
She's got a real interesting family tree, you've gotta admit
its still really fricking weird to me that Uru is just out of nowhere revealed to be another So kid. Uru works fine as just some random unfortunate orphan, why tie So back into it?
Uchikoshi has a compulsive need to overly and unnecessarily overcomplicate things.
at this point it seems the series is just about So's various children fricking things up, we can only wait and see how Ai3 shapes up considering the shit the ARG reveals about Iris
I was waiting for the reveal that shoma and amame were adopted and amame and/or gen was a So spawn too
Behind everything as in like a mastermind, no. However, taking
, all the stuff with Naix, alternate timelines, and immortality she managed to pre-call in the first game into account, it would essentially make her into Ai's version of Akane.
Marco’s a non-character right now but I think it’d be funny if they didn’t give him a humanoid design at all. Make him a tall mushroom or something
This is a brilliant idea. He doesn’t talk much because he’s a mushroom
The true golden end is going back in time and Giving So a vasectomy
you know those are reversible
Full-on castration then
Holy shit guys, Date is in big trouble!
Luckily he's in this thread and only posting a porno mag can save him.
shit man i only got furry porn
Now that the dust is settled
AiTSF > AiNi
Am I right?
true and it's not even close
Correct
Yep
Yes, no contest.
AiNi should have been a whole new character assembly, the returning characters are stalled, and in Mizuki's case outright retconned, to fit in the new story.
I would boycott the series if they didn't bring back old characters
It explains her super strength, so it's fine.
It never needed explanation. Mizuki originally said it was because of her grandfather and that was enough. It's just a character quirk. Like Date's super strength when seeing porn or guys with box shaped heads. It's not supposed to be realistic.
I had high hopes for AiNi but it really didn't live up to the original.
At the end of the day, I enjoyed the second game for what it was, but it doesn't come close to the original.
Bibi is a dumb name, everyone should call her Quartz
is it okay to go right ahead and play the AI: Somnium series even if the only thing tangentially related to the series I've ever played was 999? I really enjoyed 999 and wonder if I have to play VLW and ZTD first to enjoy the newest thing or if it's totally stand-alone
You can just go straight to AI.
Ai is it's own thing, you would only miss some easter eggs
AI is totally stand-alone. At most you will get some slight subtle reference to danganronpa and zero escape.
I think they could have fit in Bibi and the genetic modification without making Mizuki adopted and it would have worked better with the first game
Renju feels like the type of guy that would buy a designer baby
Shoko also feels like the kind of c**t that would donate eggs, use a surrogate, then feel like the kid's not actually hers and abuse it from there
Not to defend the retcon, but it make a lot more sense if Shoko is Bibi’s biological mother and that’s how I’m gonna see it.
Ok should I buy this, Xenoblade 3 or Digimon Survive?
Yes
Pirate all 3, give your money to whichever you liked most.
Or just buy xenoblade.
Xenoblade will be a guaranteed success with or without your buy, this and Digimon need every sale they can get if you want to see more games in the franchise
The thing is, I was pretty sure on buying AiNi but I’m seeing too many negative reactions and this is refraining me, ngl
That wasn't even a reveal to me because I had already figured out that the timeline was incorrect.
Bought the collector's edition personally and will do so again probably regardless of quality. I need my trough filled.
To be honest I didn't care much for the body swap machine answer to the first game's mystery either
The problem with the 1st game's mystery is that it was too obvious, everyone called it hours before the characters arrived to that answer which was frustrating, and having to sit through long as frick spoonfeeding scenes on BOTH sides of the flowchart just felt really patronizing. Reviews complained about it, and I guess that's why they made the second game's twist unsolvable.
i m a g i n e
cuteba
As funny as I think Sexy eyeball seaweed gel woman is, I think it would have been better if all the AI real-world forms were different animals like Aiba
Get ready for tall mushroom marco
I got concept art for male Aiba in one of the somniums, is there one for male Tama? I don't want to go back and collect all the eyes
if you're talking about what I think you're talking about it's unironically already called Tama rough draft, it just had Aiba's colour scheme for some reason
Huh, I thought they played early on with the idea of changing Aiba to male when paired with Mizuki but dropped it
That technically is male Tama, it's concept art for her. I think she may have been originally intended to be a male counterpart to Aiba or something
pretty cute design
Is his creature form a stag beetle?
>quantum computer from ZTD found in the game files
probably just a unused joke answer
>looks like a giant AI-ball
>used in an alt ending to simulate a whole reality for Sean
oh no
>quantum computer from ZTD found in the game files
I've seen this posted a gazillion times but no proof yet
>that eye
SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE
The religious fanatic in ZE can't be found because they don't exist in that world, they come from the AI world and they are from the order of %. Someone at Elgorg manages to hack the quantum computer with the Wadjet system and they transfer their mind to either a person genetically similar to them or to their body from that world(assuming there's one). Their reason is simply "for the lulz" because the world is all GTA. Also the AI world is the Sean gift ending because life is simply unfair.
Kinda disappointing that there's 0 fujo fanservice in the game. No cute guys at all.
At least the first game had Date.
>who is Ryuki
>generic spiky hair shounen self-insert
>generic black clothes
meh, his side is hard carried by Tama
>not cute
I think this game made me realize I have a thing for heterochromia
If Ryuki isn't cute why can't I stop thinking about him?
I wanted my gay fanservice
I'm usually all in for cute anime boys, but Ryuki just didn't endear himself to me as much as I would have hoped for whatever reason.
I played the whole game waiting for the reveal that Ryuki was actually sproutling Falco that ended up in the present due to Time Bullshit. I was expecting his Date-crush to be a really long-running joke on how narcissistic Date is.
that would've been amazing
When does Komeji take off that box-shaped mask he's wearing?
You can literally see his square skull when you x-ray him in horadori institute
>
>Ryuki and Mizuki cheering on Tama and Aiba who are about to fight in eyeball form
3 days late let's get it
good work as always
KINO
kino
anyway since the threads are dying, I just want to thank everyone for the requests. I had a lot of fun doing these.
See you whenever ai3 drops (or in the xeno threads if I like the new game)
EU should be finishing about now; so I expect the threads to liven up again for a tad
I think most people from EU who post here already beat the game by now
Wdym, I'm from EU and I simply played the Steam version like everyone else.
sssh, let drawanon stay longer
There might be story DLC, so that could revive them a bit
if it's good i'll draw more (this is now a hostage situation)
Bless your art anon. I dont like the artstyle of the new xeno tho which is ironic since i really like the AI1/2 artstyle. Maybe it's because the eyes arent super huge and they have alot of facial expressions.
same, it looks way too sharp for me in some places but I'm willing to give it a go since I really enjoyed the first two.
Also thank you for the compliment. Glad you like my work 🙂
Fantastic, thank you for doing my request
>Pewter quits after having to fix the AI-balls the 6th time that week.
Pick one for dlc. Both are free in each scenario:
>Hour long cutscenes of different characters having genuine talks with minimal/no sex jokes. Date and Mizuki, Mizuki and Bibi, Ryuki and Tama, etc
>A mini-case that's actually really compelling but the characters are completely focused on it and only really talk about the case and sex jokes
can I have both
Choosing one eliminates the other. You must remember, there are no ifs. That is the truth of this world.
frick you, let me show you the truth of this world
Second one without question.
First one easily. Biggest problem I had with AI2 was the lack of good character interactions with satisfying conclusions
I'm confused, was Ryuki shooting the park employee and being threatened with demotion in the past or the present?
Ryuki was threatened with demotion in the past, for shooting an employee while chasing after Tearer's autistic baloons. From his perspective, in the day before, he was actually chasing Amame in the present.
So how come he wasn't demoted when the case then went unsolved for 6 years?
Bossu pulled some dicks, I mean strings.
That threat was before Bibi got tasered and Data "died". ABIS doesn't work if they lose all three field agents.
in retrospect, Boss was surprisingly lenient towards Ryuki for completely schizoing out and shooting that guy, even with the "I know what will make the mentally unstable guy better: A strict time limit." shit. Why'd she even hire him in the first place? he's a total liability.
His surprisingly thick wallet.
I can only assume it’s because Ryuki gives off a weird amount of Falco miasma (orphan, dark hair, traumatized, gung ho about the hero of justice BS).
I've come to you solely to let you know that the only troony I actually know of in-person fricking loves this game and never shuts the frick up about it.
>MHA came out in 2014
>AiNi takes place in 2020
Ryuki never got to watch his favorite show together with his (now) dead twin
That's just a localization thing. In JP it's a reference to this guy.
Anpanman! It's a shame they chose to change it to MHA then.
what happens if you decide to not give ryuki the info after entering the nil number?
you go back and the game continues normally like that scene didnt happen
Speaking of So, was he actually trying do something decent for once and actually get to know and bond with Iris?
>have TWO questions for spoiler mode
>all it does is Date telling you he wears a mask which makes no sense 50% through the game
Why ever have it at all at that point?
That seems to be the implication and im kind of sad it's not followed up more as a side bit. He even flees the country due to a tipoff so you don't get to ask him questions in the epilogue like before.
I am convinced So leaving the country is going to be plot relevant for AI3.
True, because who would've told him about TC-PERGE rocket?
>Speaking of So, was he actually trying do something decent for once and actually get to know and bond with Iris?
I'm pretty sure that's the implication. Take a look at his hobbies, at the very least he's taken an interest in Iris.
anyone trying to make mizuki koikatsu cards? I was gonna try to make them all but having trouble making anything close
Do not sexualize the Mizuki
Sexualize Bibi instead, she's 24
They all have a similar face that's hard to make in koikatsu. Getting tired of fricking with sliders
OH MY SWEET PRINCESS, WHERE CAN I FIND YOU?
Chikara was her boss, she was like his secretary or something. On top of that power dynamic, Chikara introduced her to his cult so it would have been pretty easy to mind break her into bearing your kids afterward.
ZTD only has one redeeming factor, and it's what a huge meme it is. It is absolutely the worst game I've ever actually played myself.
I never heard any complaints about VLR Junpei, just ZTD, among complaints about everything else in ZTD
Finding this memo early on spoiled VLR to me because I could already tell the point was to break them all
Are you forgetting that the very first body you found was a guy who "died" 6 years ago? The reason why they can slip with everyone dying "yesterday" or some shit, is that it's suppose to build up the mystery for the frayer of how these bodies are being persevered for 6 years
Yeah every time they talk about the time of death I just figured they meant "THIS half of the body seems to only have died x hours ago"
No, moron, its not just the body being found, the detectives play you an audio clip of Komeji encountering a guard and there are witnesses that saw Komeji the night before. I asked how people could miss this and I guess the answer is that you're a fricking moron.
I just assumed Komeji was fraying.
idk why aiba’s such a b***h about mizuki being hyper impulsive. she spent the last 6 years without a parental figure, people older than her keep adultifying her (ex: kizuna and her pussy ass bf Lien), and boss is pressuring her to Keep It Up.
Uchikoshi and the localizer person seem pretty outspoken on twitter so maybe it's worth a shot to bring the bigger stuff up because it's a blemish on an otherwise great game.
>expecting them to own up to their mistakes
Regardless, I'd help you out if I had a twitter account.
I'd appreciate it if someone could, I'm sure they'd get a bit miffed seeing some of the minor ones brought up, but the major stuff they should own up to.
Twitter is requiring a phone number for me to sign up and I'm a NEET without a phone.
Have you tried Google Voice?
Just do it and see them squirm.
They're aware of the Maruko stuff and are going to patch it, dunno about any of the other stuff
Well hopefully they're aware of other thing and it isn't just because the whole Maruko thing became a meme, but I probably shouldn't have hope.
I have and they've caught on to people using that I guess because it doesn't work.
>Chikara tapped that
How the frick did he do it bros?
It was a long time ago, maybe he looked like less of a freak back then.
Because he took advantage of his higher position in the cult
If Uchikoshi gave Tama a critter form, I think she would be a chinchilla
>Tama
>not a cat
Pewter doesn’t like cats
>mama's visual glitches from the first game were intentionally left in my version of the game as a personal message from Uchikoshi to me that mama is a frayer too
sasuga Uchikoshi
She looks like a bread bun with lipstick on it
>she
Boobs
Anon, Mama is a gay guy in drag.
If a drag queen is still in their getup, you can call them “she”
It's a japanese gay bar thing, the owner dresses in drag and is called "Mama." It's not analoguous to western drag culture, so I'm not going to pretend I'm familiar with the details.
Don't the characters refer to mama as a "she" though?
Mama's cool and calling her a guy would make her sad, so I'll make an exception.
Based anon, we love mama.
Still gonna refer to mama as a she since the game does it. It's easier that way.
Mama wasn’t lying….she was wearing a costume all along
The player is the frayer not any of the characters within the sinulation, it has to be outside
So uh, Mizuki and Bibi are gonna like...do it, right?
Bibi is just a tab too obsessed with Mizuki for regular clone-sibling relations
and considering the "can't get boyfriends" thing my degenerate mind only sees one course
Why have the fates decided to deprive Mizuki of a normal anything
abnormal begets abnormal
I find the two of them in both languages to sound really similar to their dub counterparts.
May sound stupid but I feel Aiba sounds a bit too serious/robotic in JP. Aiba is pretty silly herself sometimes so her ENG voice is better to me. Also I adore Mame's ENG dub too, she's so cute. The "Because it's good!" line in Gen's somnium is adorable.
life is simply unfair
Aiba's voice is better in English
Tama's voice is better in English
999 >= AI1 > VLR > powergap > dogshit > AI2
>"Hey how about we take everything we established in AI1 and ignore it to not make spoilers to drive more sales"
>(inherently spoils 2nd psync machine, which works differently from AI1 and Hitomi x Date)
>"Hey let's make the MAIN PLOT TWIST be about how the timeline is shown rather than the plot itself!"
>"Hey let's make the villains be le complex motive generic kill the world thing only to do jack shit for 6 years only to get BTFO'd offscreen by a random mermaid!"
This last one is literally No Time to Die tier shit
Fricking weet ik. What a disappointment I wish we didn't get a sequel unironically. The music is also vad except Faith to Face, Face off, Chikara somnium track. Nothing else
>inb4 lien somnium
Repetitive single guitar riff without anything special going for it. Also worst somnium jn the game.
>>"Hey let's make the villains be le complex motive generic kill the world thing only to do jack shit for 6 years only to get BTFO'd offscreen by a random mermaid!"
That's not what happens at all, moron.
Also, what do you mean, lien somnium? Everyone knows that Lien is a shit character and has a shit somnium except for that one guy who self inserts as him and thinks he's the coolest dude ever.
>replying to the dutch shitposter
week ik is a Ganker meme from the dutch cam rip of no time to die, doesn't mean the moron is actually dutch.
Hey I see a kappa that I really want to catch
what's the best platform to play?
PC
PC has best performance but controller support is wonky if you want to use one. I refunded it on Steam, bought it on Switch instead then pirated it to take high res screenshots
So who is this? Amame? And why is this person appearing in a blue silhouette? At the time I just chalked it up to Ryuki schizo symptoms, then due to TC Perge, but now that I think about it, this type of blue silhouette only appears inside somniums. Holy shit, is the entire game really a somnium after all?
Amame. Ryuki just got a face full of TC-Perge from the box, so he sees the blue man group instead of the mermaid.
and yes, due to the '=1' timie for one year shit established in Gen's somnium god only knows what bullshit they can pull in the DLC/Ai3 with that
The only thing I'm confused about here is why Tama didn't say anything. Was her vision messing up too or did she know it was Mame and didn't say anything because of her oath or whatever?
I think they mentioned something about Ryuki's fall damaging Tama's memory storage of that or some shit, but I could be wrong.
I don't remember that but I'll take it.
The real plot bullshit I'm more concerned about is Boss in Gen's route.
the underlying theme of Boss/ABIS being sketchy as frick has been there since the first game, and Gen's route/ending is pretty much the only time we really get to see it in full.
Tama was confused when Ryuki asked "why do you look like that", and I think she had no time to say anything because Ryuki chased after Mame.
999's puzzles are pretty easy and while there are a lot of them, they're mostly straight forward and are mostly about investigating the background in the right order, rather than using real brain power like in VLR.
Post jams
So if I really enjoyed the writing of these two games would I enjoy 999? I'm god awful at puzzles and looking at the character designs they don't really appeal to me so I dunno
The writing is similar to 999 but it has lots of puzzles so if you are bad at them maybe not
did anyone else think he was in whiteface because of how ashy his complexion is
why was he mumble-whispering his lines the whole time
What was the point of this character
DLC
they needed another police man for the MCs to interact with, but you'd think they would just give that inspector that's always at the scene a name to expand on his character more
I think he's based on kabuki, but I could be wrong. His general facial structure makes me think that.
Sean from the virtual world went on to complete his dream and created Elgorg which created the wadjet system, this created the AI world divergence.
Sean is also the frayer but especificaly the robot Sean which can control the computer at will and traverse realities as his original self dreamed of.
Maybe I'm moronic but if Date's eye socket is still connected to Aiba to the point he can hear Aiba and Mizuki communicating without speaking, then did that just not work at all over 6 years he was chilling in Atami?
he was too far away
So why didn't Date and Bibi just bring him to the station?
why didn't date just shoot again
Tearer abused the power of questionable writing.
How? Ryuki shoots Bibi and Tearer walks away.
I honestly think they had too many ideas for this game which lead to it being too muddled at some places in the story.
Also Date being out actually hurt the game quite a bit.
It was still a fun ride though, but the first game was better.
Any other games similar to this? Not western indie games if possible.
Ever17
Even with Date saying Abis is sussy it still comes out of nowhere tbh especially since it's never explored further
>Ever17
Now that's a classic anime artstyle, damn
I already finished that years and years ago. Best VN in my book. Got Goosebumps when I realized what was happening then.
Weird that nobody's drawn Mizuki & Bibi kissing yet. Not that I'm complaining since it's a miracle that we even got any fanart in the first place, but you think somebody would've done it by now.
This game has too big of a western audience for that
Bro they're sisters
someone did up some Bibi x Mizuki porn, but I can't find the source on twitter right now
https://twitter.com/fluoxetiddy/status/1544840746657726464
Not a style I like but it's something
So is Tokiko a protagonist or antagonist now that she went ayy lmao and proved she was right about FICTION BRO?
She caused suffering regardless so she's still an antagonist
>She caused suffering regardless so she's still an antagonist
Is it suffering if it isn't real and she knew it wasn't?
I am pretty sure Uchi is going with the whole DR3 ending of fiction being real 2 me or something. Probably a point for the DLC or Ai3.
Pain is real even if it's simulated, otherwise she wouldn't have tried to kill herself or felt bad for Uru.
>otherwise she wouldn't have tried to kill herself or felt bad for Uru
But that was all before she truly believed.
What a nerd, just be happy like everyone else!
it's only not suffering if she got some kind of omniscient being (aka (You)) to turn back time for her, then got the being to get a policeman to remember the details of everything that happened in the case from that point on so that he would be able to prevent further damage from occurring so it all effectively never happened.
Such a silly situation could only happen in a fake reality, so clearly she's a bad guy
The Frayer is actually a Fraying Tokiko, that's why she knows where she will be and what she'll do
I honestly think AI 3 needs a new cast. I love these weirdos but they're played out
>Kiss me, Mizuki!
I need art of them lezzing out NOW
and Bibi can join too
why does this b***h not wear shoes
Human weapon so heat and other annoyances doesn't bother her soles. Also she knows it turns me on.
rats don't wear anything
best I can do is this and the fact that both their bios' Likes specifically include each other
What was his name, again?
That's Kaniza, you dumbass.
>AI3
>Bibi doesn't appear
>Spoiler-toggle on: "Unfortunately Mizuki Kuranushi has passed away from her heart condition before it could be treated, now we're back to one Mizuki"
Either:
>a single throwaway line about how she's on a mission or at the hospital or something
or
>she's back to wearing the mask again and her bond with Mizuki and Boss is explicitly absent in whatever scene she's in
Both are suffering
>spoiler toggle becomes major plot point about alternative realities
God I want Amame to murder me so bad
So Ryuki diverge route is actually the canon end right?
all ends are canon here
thanks to Ryuki's schizo episodes, even if they appear to go the Resolution ending I'm sure we'll see the diverge route pop up again
I don't get why the game makes it seem like the no suffer route is bad.
It's the revelation that all reality is a fake that Ryuki is having a hard time dealing with, not so much that his friends aren't going through so much shit
Tokiko and the Frayer mind fricked him what good
ryuki didn't really react very strongly to it at all other than being surprised by the big changes
he mostly seemed mildly unsatisfied and awkward in the end
he was still surprised by the changes even six years later, I'm not sure how he's supposed to handle things going forwards. Didn't he get a promotion in Diverge too?
It's the easiest ending to mask AI2 spoilers when nothing really happened but at the same time it is achieved because things happened

Bruh
hold up, what's that mean
Why does the ending song act like it was ever a part of the story that Mizuki can't get a boyfriend
My real question is why is the ending a compressed video?
If I had to take a wild guess, too many actors on screen and the switch can't handle it.
Kinda disappointing but I guess that’s what we get with multiple consoles
I hate you Aiba
I hate you and I never want to see you again
I will self-destruct
Just started working on Nil, this isn’t what I expected
Is worth going to check archives on the older threads? I missed all the discussion
I dunno I missed most of them too.
I'd say yes. There were some things I didn't notice until the threads started talking about it.
This bonus Somnium is honestly really amazing to see
Anyone recommend an archive website so I can check older threads?
https://arch.b4k.co/v/thread/605511571/#605583380
Thanks anon, I guess my last question is the last two pages of outfits worth going for? My 5 and 6 are blank
>turns my collectors edition was never cancelled even though i got an email confirming it.
I want the Aiba figure
Ryuki is a lucky guy
